Nobody buys them, noone uses them, even most charity shops don't take them! Donate to local allotment group to make birds scarers.

They haven't listed any new listings for used dvds/blu-rays for 3 months, when they used to list every day.
There was news in November that BT was thinking of buying the company, but that was not the case.
A German company was showing some interest but dropped out, so their shares fell 20% on news of this at the time.
People banging on about streaming services are missing the point, when all these DVDs are in landfill or used as bird scarers then it's a bit of culture that's potentially gone forever.
There's only sea-farers like me (Yaaarr! ) on torrent sites keeping a lot of this stuff alive.
back in the day, DVDs were considered hi def, compared to VHS, but they are only 720 by 540
