Has musicMagpie stopped buying dvd’s

As title really, just been on the MM app but can see dvd’s / cd’s to sell

    Nobody buys them, noone uses them, even most charity shops don't take them!
    Donate to local allotment group to make birds scarers.

    Thanks for calling me a nobody - not everybody relies on streaming or digital services to watch media.

    They haven't listed any new listings for used dvds/blu-rays for 3 months, when they used to list every day.

    There was news in November that BT was thinking of buying
    the company, but that was not the case.

    A German company was showing some interest but dropped out, so their shares fell 20% on news of this at the time.

    People banging on about streaming services are missing the point, when all these DVDs are in landfill or used as bird scarers then it's a bit of culture that's potentially gone forever.

    There's only sea-farers like me (Yaaarr! ) on torrent sites keeping a lot of this stuff alive.

    back in the day, DVDs were considered hi def, compared to VHS, but they are only 720 by 540
