A workaround would be to use Bluestacks or another android emulator on your PC and download it to the emulator. Bit silly that you have to resort to that but shouldn't be too much effort if you really want offline content
EDIT: Get an unsupported hardware message on Andy emulator so seems you're unable to emulate this app properly

Netflix has a few hidden gems, two aussie programs I found recently and can highly recommend: "Rake" and "Dreamland" (original Oz title is Utopia)
they may not be your cuppa, but I enjoyed them
Rake is a little like House crossed with Silk, Dreamland's the series that BBC based Twenty Twelve on.
There is not an option to download to a PC.
its worth it if you use the prime delivery service alot. I weigh up the cost of stuff before I buy but end up with next day delivery even on a sunday. plus if you share the account with someone then you share the price. easy really
Thngs must be slow in the Ivory Tower of UKHD as this isn't free really is it, it's just an option for a paid service and a limited one as well which of course isn't mentioned for obvious reasons. Anyway here are the full facts:
Yes both Bluestacks and Andy are free to download and use
EDIT: Get an unsupported hardware message on Andy emulator so seems you're unable to emulate this app properly
Edit 2: App works with Bluestacks emulator but can't see any option to download when using it, even on the ones that say they are available to download

thanks for looking into this issue.
ofc not and the 85 quid for Netflix a year is well worth it...
With prime you get:
Free delivery
unlimited storage (for pics etc)
Music
Kindle books
Video streaming
with Netflix you just get video streaming.
Yep Amazon prime is not worth it.

Thats right! Although, I bought a fire stick recently and now my Chromecast is obsolete!
is there any easy way to make multiple accounts?
I'll give them a go, thanks tapi.

Can I HAVE your Chromecast Stick then mate ..... hahahahahahaha lool. :-)
I wondered exactly the same thang too ... hehehe, we'll have to wait & see? lol. :-)
Like Silk and Twenty Twelve sounds good thanks
Edit - sorry I will retract that statement. There is a lot you can download especially movies. But also a fair amount that you can stream but can't download - e.g. TV Shows Suits, Battlestar Galactica. Movies - Lincoln
