Nothing at my end, decent offer if honest

Excellent work writing those t&cs from scratch (highfive)

Really? I must be good at making things up?

Just cancelled my one of many free trials of Netflix so this is perfect timing. Luckily had the email but didn't realise so thanks ops.

That makes sense, as I got a leaflet in the post about it and fall into the bracket you've just described. I have no real interest in it though as you don't get netflix stuff in UHD if you link it via Sky Q, whilst you do if you go direct with Netflix (on the appropriate package).

Enjoy another free month of Netflix (win back offer)
LocalLocalFound 3rd MarFound 3rd Mar
Check your Emails for an Enjoy another free month of Netflix offer. It's for previous customers who do not have an existing or recently expired Netflix Membership.

I think Netflix has deliberately allowed the sharing of profiles as a marketing tool. It's helped Netflix to grow in popularity among people who may not have subscribed anyway. I suspect it may have helped to keep buying rights lower too. Sure, would have had some effect on subscriber numbers to date but I suspect Netflix will get more strict on this in the future as a way to generate income (possibly hoping that users won't be able to live without it).

Not sure if Netflix have this rule but some services have a strict one account per household rule. I don't think Netflix does, but surely they could use that as an excuse and mention that Netflix has multiple profiles feature, and in their (Netflix's) view that would be enough for a family in a house?

The previous comment was deleted so I may have misunderstood your point but I doubt Netflix can rely solely on IP address as there could be multiple people in household who may want to try service out.

Did the same for about 3 months then started paying for it. Would have done it longer until my Sky contract ended but got caught out with one of the payment methods (lol)

LLN is a chrome extension that gives you superpowers over Netflix. It makes studying languages with films/series more effective and enjoyable.

Thanks for sharing this, didn't know about it and it comes in quite handy

Thanks. (I don't have the time to follow links or videos for every deal to find out what it is. I rely on the description to decide if worth exploring further)

It displays multiple (two languages) or alternate (English audio with say french subtitles or vice versa) subtitles, there's a video link on my first comment.

What does this actually do?

Hmm not sure, it might just be due to the fact that you need Netflix in the first place (to stop people being disappointed who don't realise Netflix is a paid for service?), can't see any other mention of it, will test it out more later and let you know.

Woke up to this bad boy this morning:

What's Monzo. Never heard of it.

My Starling account was opened and verified in just 5 minutes. Absolutely fantastic app and service. So much so that family and friends have all opened a Starling account and all positive reviews since. I'm sure Monzo is good too from what I've heard. Each to their own.

I asked Monzo yesterday about the deal and was told it wasn’t an offer they were running and asked for a screenshot and then a different person replied to me and said this

I've just googled 'Monzo Netflix' and there is indeed no other mention of it... assuming its a mutually beneficial arrangement you'd have thought there'd be some kind of advertising of it.

When I try to make a payment now I get the error message 'Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again later.' Prior to this, I had got past this stage but then got stuck on the page where it asks for my number, and after going back I can't get past the payment page, I just keep getting that error. I've tried three different cards, I've tried resetting the proxy, restarting my computer, going incognito. Nothing works now, I can't get past the payment page. Any ideas?

It’s all down to licence. In the uk nowtv has a lot of those films. Ie sol

Yes seems like a reasonable deal, and don't know why it would go cold. Totally love netflix but as much as it has, it seems to miss out a lot like any decent slightly older films. I'm still surprised when it doesn't have the Alien films, terminator films, any films over a few years old, even the first guardians of the galaxy is missing. So much crappy mediocre stuff. Look up any high ranking films from the last 20 years and it probably wont be on netflix, not sure if hulu is better. No family guy! No bobs burgers! however, i'm totally loving ancient red dwarf and just rediscovered Bottom. :) And still working my way through breaking bad.... oh man Interestingly I checked the US to see some differences and noticed Solo was on there and not here. Didn't notice anything else of significance though.

No, no and no Already subscribe to NordVpn as I trade globally and VPN is necessary. £35 for three years You only need the VPN to open your account. If You use The VPN you get the content from that country, so use a French server and you get French geared Netflix, use USA server then you get USA content. If you don't use VPN then you get the content from your location. There are loads of free trials for VPN no cost if you don't need a vpn. As an example if you use a server in USA you don't see Dr Who but there are maybe 600 more movies, this is all from a Turkish registered account. It's all down to licensing restrictions depending on your location

A saving is a saving no matter how small it is (y)

That’s exactly what we do. We use our LGs smart app to view Netflix which is part of our sky bundle so we get HDR and Dolby Vision support. Sky are way behind when it co Es to the latest AV specs.

not sure on this one - I don't have Box Sets (but do have NOW TV which I think is the same). Currently have Netflix (purchased via ITunes) for £5.99 a month for 2 screens (had it for quite a while so think this is a legacy price). I also often purchase iTunes vouchers discounted - usually 20% off but just picked up a £50 voucher for £25 on Facebook Groups - so Netflix works out at £5 a month.

There's no HDR via Sky Q at present which is a shame, I love it on films, especially those with lots of night/dark imagery. Also sound isn't delivered via Atmos on Sky Q either. I no longer subscribe to netflix, but if I did I'd be looking to try and hook it into my Sky account but not use the Sky Q 2tb box for streaming, rather using the TVs inbuilt player or more likely something like an Nvidia Shield (which supports Dolby Vision, HDR10 and Atmos).

Heat! 🔥 Good deal if you qualify. Worth remembering that there is an Up Front fee to any upgrade to Q boxes, with or without multiroom "experience". My contract was up a few months ago but not check my Bill for a while. Up to £55 from £41.50. Messaged & dropped Cinema coz deal ended, was £13.50 extra pm. Been offered on "Message" existing package at £36 but want extra £22 for Q Multi with £70 upfront. Sod that! Might give notice & see what deals are offered, then finally buckle after 28 days, before my wife kills me! (y) 🏻 8) 😄 (annoyed)

I can confirm no Netflix in uhd without 2tb sky q box and correct subscription doesn't matter what you already pay for through Netflix so I don't use it as I can get Netflix 4k on Amazon firestick or through my of TV.

I can now confirm that a quick call to O2 to pay the £24 for the device and I could cancel the contract, my sim will remain active until the 6th January and I will only pay £19 for the plan I had signed up for less 20% so total cost for us will be £39.20 for the hotspot and 36gb data! Voted hot for Beverley mate.

not sure why £24 a month for 3 months has been added, you can give 30 days notice in the first week if you pay the £24 for the device so works out just over £43, I've already received my first £47.94 netflix credit.

Really haven't got a good impression of o2, definitely would say go elsewhere.

They add the full £47.94 to your netflix account and then it's just taken out of that balance until it's empty. So if you're on the £9.99/month you'll only get 4 months free, still a great deal though. I upgraded all the family and now we have the next year and a half free :)

Can’t quite find the details if how this works if you already have the full Netflix sub at £9.99. Presumably they will just credit your Netflix account by £7.99 each month and you pay the £2 balance? Anyone got an idea on this? I recently claimed the PS Plus three months Netflix for free, which just added £24 credit to my account.

Ok thanks for info, I guess I wouldn’t be asking if I didn’t have o2 contract but oh well. So do you know or you just trolling? 😜
