Same. I got my refund this morning. They haven't closed the loophole - I've just done exactly the same again, although I found Mexico to be cheaper than Colombia this time.
Took this out on the 8th March (via Colombia) and has been working fine. Just received an email stating they are refunding me the full month amount with no explanation and when I login my subscription has been cancelled. It was nice to effectively get a free month but wonder if they have decided to close this loophole? Anyone else had the same?
Well that cost was refunded... But the pounds improved against Turkish Lira
