Once installed this non Pro one when you start the app it has a message which says
Congrats! You've unlocked the Pro version....
Although the icon still shows the non Pro icon.

OP .. does this need a constant Data Plan for it to work? .. or will a simple GPS Connection suffice? .. thanx. :-)
I don't think it needs a data plan as from what I understand the maps are downloaded to your phone so it doesn't use data... Obviously would need GPS for finding your location though... And maybe would need data for searching? Not sure on that though.

When I downoladed it I got the message "Congratulations you have successfully upgraded to City Maps 2Go Pro Version " ...or some such statement.
I'm running Android 2.3.3, and the app identifies itself as Version 3.6.38...

Are the maps better than OSM? What is their source?
Is the app better than Navigator?
Of course I will try for myself but wondering if someone already compared.
Ok, seems like it is using the same OSM maps.
The settings don't make any sense to me, "Download map only" means... ?"Quality improvement" ?
Never mind, I only noticed now it is not a navigation app, but a collection of city guides sorry
Its main feature is maps, click into a country and you can browse the different cities and download the offline maps.
Works fine for me on my Nexus 4 on KitKat.
