I already have PS Plus so its no use to me
It's very straightforward ... and you can do it online. Just make sure that auto renew is turned off in the preferences
I did have a modded PS3 from eons back, but that won't be getting connected at all, and never used the online profile apart from maybe a couple of days....however I have got my son a PS Vita for xmas, and have a PS4 on preorder (whilst deciding whether to keep or cancel the order).
Would be great if could get this done online, purchase the free PS Vita, PS3 (just in case get a 2nd ps3 in the future), and PS4 free titles that are available as part of the Playstation Plus, before they are removed as part of the PS+ Package. Then a few weeks later, closer to actually having the Vita and PS4 take out a proper sub (and thereby reactivating the PS+ bought games)
The discounts are not worth bothering with. Need free stuff to keep. ill pass
no you don't? You need to be connected to PS to confirm the validity of the PS+ account (referring to the free PS+ games)
Some are!

Free 1 month if we have recently bought a PS Vita (got one for the kids) - fantastic So I'll activate the 2 week trial soon, get the games 'purchased for this month and the beginning of the next month batch
Then when the next 'psn month' starts with different games, I'll register for the free month of PS+
lol techically Tunein is the app which is free for PSN+ and you can keep it even after PSN+ expires.

The Sony Entertainment Network Store is currently not available?
I've added all the PS3 and Vita stuff (on the PC website) that is free on the account, except for Uncharted 3 Single Player....which for some reason says
"you need PlayStation Plus To Add Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception Single Player to your cart."
Anyone else able to add this to their basket?
You need to go into Playstation Network on the XMB, then goto Account Management and select Transaction Management then goto Services List and select your PS+ subscription and Cancel it...
Account management>Transaction Management>Services List>PlayStation Plus>PlayStation Plus [Subscription] - Cancel Automatic Renewal
Hi thanks for your reply gerrymig. I've only registered online using my PC. I haven't registered my PS Vita console yet, I am waiting nearer to Christmas to take advantage of the one months free trial. So I have to go online via PC to try and stop the renewal...any ideas on how to do that?
If click on My Settings on top right where your login name is
Give it your password again if it asks you (it has for me)
click "Media"
click "Games"
find "Playstation Plus" amongst the games
the subscription option should be in there to cancel the auto renewal
1. Sign In to Sony Entertainment Network
2. Select and go to Media/Games
3. Select the current membership and click ‘Cancel Automatic Renewal’.
4. Select and go to Account/Wallet and click 'NO' on Automatically Add Funds to Renew Subscriptions or Pay for Pre-ordered Content.
Useful information on how to do it can be found on these two links
Cancelling membership to a subscription service
Account settings needed to automatically fund subscription renewal and pre-order payment
I'm new to the PS+ store and I haven't registered my sons Xmas PS Vita console yet (waiting nearer to Xmas). Do I just leave the Free games in the 'Download List' section until I need them later to download, or do I have to click the 'Download' button now to add them to the 'Download Queue', or can I do this later. I don't want to lose the games, can anyone say what is the correct procedure please?
Someone else will be able to confirm the downloading queue info too I'm sure...but as they're now "bought" can't see why not
Thanks Midnight Tboy that makes it easier being a newbie on the Ps+. Pease ignore my previuos PM I sent you.
To do this it says go to the PS Store on my console, I do and there's a thing saying click here for trial, then nothing happens. I can't get the trial?
Any help?
Same here??? Anyone help please!!!
This also expires on 31st December 2013.

used, thanks mate
It was still there, took me and my partner ages to find it and then wasn't sure if it had worked. Go on to their website and have a good hunt around
I don't think it showed up till he registered for an account.....
