Ok, this is a niche tool but it's so good. For those of you that are into PC gaming, you will be aware of ATI Eyefinity and Nvidia Surround gaming. This is where you play your games across multiple monitors. Usally the center monitor is for your main screen and the outer two monitors are for peripheral vision. This makes the gaming experience much more involved and simulator like.

Sadly, it is hit and miss with regards to the games that actually support this though. One game may fully support it... Battlefield 3 for example, where as another, Modern Warfare 3 doesn't.

Widescreen fixer is a small tool that runs in the background and it includes 'fixes' for many games. I've been using it for ages now and it's great. It also seems to get updated quite regularly with new games and tweaks.

Ok, so it's -3 in here right now... any explanations?
    It's free.
It fixes a lot of games that otherwise look rubbish when you have a high end multi monitor setup...
    So why the cold?
Surely if it's not for you, just dont vote.
For those that have this sort of gaming setup it's a great tool

One day I will have another monitor. But will need a bigger desk first. And a bigger office to put it in. Which means I will have to move house. Damn, this is expensive software.

Exactly what I did... but it was worth it.

LOL - if I'd known I could get heat for posting this I would have done so ages ago!

Awesome tool and the WSGF guys are scary quick at updating it whenever a new patch comes out.

And you can also use it to increase the effective view distance in games where that cannot be controlled. Specifically in Kingdoms of Amalur, you are stuck with a fairly close 'over the shoulder view'. With this, on a single monitor, you can extend the distance so you view is about 20-30ft behind your char - much easier to see what is going on...
