I would SO buy one of these if I had the cash!! I do have an actual R2 to command for the mean time though.. he is so cute and sometimes when you don't talk to him he humps your leg.. I swear!:w00t:
Best pic I got...
Don't be so sexist:santa:
Very good.
Have some rep. ☆
well if i did she would kick my ****,but hey i can dream!:-D
Lmao
Shame about the resolution - still, this was designed a long time ago...
The only thing I would hope is that you don't have to always steer the thing round the room i.e. if you command it to go to film ceiling then it does it itself but I bet it doesn't which would be a shame!
Otherwise pretty warm (although not quite hot).
for this price!?
but it is cool
but cold
Yeah and in a galaxy far far away..
but then I saw the vid ....
Yeah but DAB is officially **** and will only be replaced within the next 5 years or so.
And I say toy because the picture quality is regarded as very poor. You could get a similar image spending a third of the price.
My husband and kids would love it.
"And please, people, stop saying it's not hd. The onboard dvd player isn't, but if you project from an external source you can get all but the full 1080p hd resolution. I've used my ps3 on it and (believe it or not) the projector actually handles 720p and 1080i better than ordinary pal output when i'm playing a fast moving game through it."
So why is everyone complaining about the resolution???
You could actually get a better projector for under £400, however I guess it wouldn't be as cool as this. I suppose it depends what you want, i'd say this is more of a gimmick than good projector, but like I said it is really cool and i'd love one if I could justify the price (which I can't!!). If it was around £500 then i'd say it's worth it, at this price it's still far too expensive.
I'm a big Star Wars and gadget fan... but I guess the problem is I'm a huge AV fan and that part of me overrules; this just such poor value for money in the long run.
I won't deny it is very cool though...
I did actually mean a quarter of the price, my maths is just a bit off today
It's 800 X 600 resolution (SVGA), so it has to upscale to do 720p, so in my books this isn't a true HD projector. An Optoma costing under £400 will project at 1280 X 720, so looking at that, this is not as good for over 4 times the price. I know it's cool, but still not a great projector.
Oh gawd I want one!
