Bought this last week, returned as the dial was not turning and stayed In same place for 2 hrs. Rang customer support he said this is common problem.this was on the first wash.

My mate's is still going strong, he hasn't managed to break it yet.

I'm not exactly sure what the programmer does on his, but I know it does stop for significant lengths of time on the long washes.

Stock of these must be running low now, standard delivery times for me are now 3 weeks plus... but you can still order at this price.

Which Chinese phone would be comparable to this?

Elephone P9000 was another that I was looking at and has very similar specs, but I was scared by the reports of SIM tray issues (resulting in the phone showing errors that the SIM wasn't inserted) and bad customer support with fixing this... at least if I have problems with an Argos product I can go back to the shop!

£200 for a bush phone oO

What's the processor in it mtk or qualcomm? any more information in specs iam guessing it's a China phone that has been rebadged?

my thoughts exactly, if I paid £200 for bush I'd want a happy ending.

Can't believe the negative comments on here about a phone no one has seen let alone trialled..... I'm due to review this week as part of my techno job and I can't wait....I reviewed the Bush Spira D2 5.5 earlier this year and I must admit to being very impressed for the price bracket of £120.... Bush phones are made by Archos and the E3X is the Diamond 2 in disguise which isn't released yet but will cost £100 more than the Bush for the privilege of having a Archos badge, I will update you after the test.

That's great. Look forward to the results of your test.

Got mine sound is very good. Bluetooth as loads of ppl did complain fails and fails and fails but for 77 quid the sound its good. And they go loud as well if you listen to music.
oh, by the way its not clear but it comes with all the cables for the different options i.e. optical etc.
i got this a while ago for 75, no complaints with it at all, well worth the money
I've see a lot worse on here.

Optical, 4.1 and sub.

It's not half bad really.

Have some love from me OP.
Don't think they have any other model with subwoofer and 4.1 channel.

avoid these if you want reliability and somewhat decent speakers. i bought the 8 inch model, numerous dead pixels and the speakers are horrible, made me cringe listening to anything on it

You having any problems charging it? I have the 8in and tge charge take far too long. Left it charging for over 7hrs and it did 70%
Charges reasonably well for me. Definitely to 100% overnight and definitely in under 10 hours but I can't tell exactly how long at the moment. I don't use the supplied charging plug, I use a different multi-USB adapter, but I suppose it should still provide the same maximum amount of current either way (excluding smartphone chargers).
The 8 inch has a 4500 mAh battery compared to the 7000 mAh battery in the 10 inch so I'd be very surprised if it took longer or even the same amount of time as mine. Might be something faulty if you can't confirm by using a different USB charger to compare.
Must be something wrong with mine, I've got it to charge to 100% but as soon as I unplug it it drops to 85% in about 1 min

Just got the Spiral B2 10 inch tablet from Argos. Was looking for a 1080p 10 inch tablet for under £150.
It's an Archos underneath, but can't tell which one. Build number says [email protected]
First impressions, build is alright and all plastic, as you would expect. Comes with a fitted screen protector. Screen is sharp. OS is clean, no bloatware (if you skip the option during setup). One problem is the WiFi is only 2.4ghz and the antenna is very weak. Signal drops out if you have your hand on the left hand side and are not in the same room as the router.
Scores an abysmal 39596 on Antutu benchmarks. Don't get this expecting to play 3D games on it.

I've had another look and I think the 10" inch version is a rebadged Archos 101b Oxygen.

http://www.archos.com/img/products/tablets/oxygen/archos_101boxygen/gallery/archos_101boxygen-large_05.png

Archos claim the back is aluminium which it might well be, so I take back my 'all plastic' comment from earlier. Definitely a worthwhile tablet for the specs and price range.

Mine arrived yesterday, did the update to Win 10 with no issues.

If anyone has difficulties, this tablet is a rebranded Chuwi Vi8. Plenty of info and driver updates if you search for that online.

After selling the office 365 key it's cost me all of £35 so very pleased. Great bit of kit.

Thanks OP.

This could be a really cheap, really useful remote control. If the software is available. If you want to display on TV get a Nowtv box (£15 or less) not too much more than a HDMI cable, then "cast" the display to the TV (or is that feature only available on android?)

My son has the Lynx 8. Uses it to watch Netflix, NowTV and Sky on his TV, but that comes with HDMI. He managed to update it to Windows 10 so I'd have thought it been possible on this device.

Very impressed for the price, although I don't use the built in Freeview much.

Connected it up to my PC via HDMI, on screen text was really blurry at first, this was solved by setting Sharpness to 0, after that it looks great.

You will need a soundbar or amp though, as the built in speakers are pretty tinny.
Very poor quality tv poor sound and picture I am taking mine back in the morning

no 4k, all console coming with 4k bluray player soon. No point to buy an 1080p tv anymore
put a 4k tv and a 1080 beside each other in a room and tell me the difference because i have tried and couldnt. our eyes cant see the difference if your 2 foot away u might notice a difference but i would doubt it in most cases big selling gimic.
Its just the same as houses and tents. You cant tell the difference between solid walls and fabric Big sales gimic too..
I disagree I think you can tell the difference, I'd like 4K as I'm a film collector and want the best picture quality but it's just too much cost and bother having to get rid of my 51" plasma. Then again none of my real favourites have come out on 4K yet such as Predator, the first two Terminators and Fifth Element.

Pretty good taste there 8-)

I agree there isnt much 4k content out there, however my opinion 4k is much clearer and sharper than 1080p. I have an LG 49" 4k and the quality is very impressive and superior to Full HD (this is coming from a samsung full HD). Just my opinion, spend a bit more and get a 4K, doesnt have to be top brand like sony as I see samsung do some very decent priced ones along with LG and hisense (I can only vouch for LG though).

there is a downside with the earpiece it was quiet on the bush compare to other phones ive had enough volume to make it louder the bush was on max setting and still wasn't loud enough so if you in a busy town or party etc you wont hear that well

don't buy this phone if you plan to use gumtree or ebay and certain other apps because I noticed with ebay and gumtree you cant search or login as the screen goes black and this is 2nd phone from argos I tried and I'm sending it back

Just for reference if anyone else has this black screen problem logging into apps
Settings - System - Display - Reduce size of text and apps on this display , drag slider down towards 50%.
The Black Screen when logging into apps is a simple fix! - Settings/System/Display ....and then reduce size of text, apps and items on this display to about halfway down. Don't worry it barely alters the appearance of the screen, but cures the black fields thing.

I picked one up the other day, I think its an amazing little phone. It certainly doesn't feel 'budget' and has a premium feel to it. Performance is great, amazing for £50
As a long time Android and (up till iOS 7) iPhone user, I fancied a change and wanted to look at W10, I bought a Lumia 1320, which runs a W10 Developer preview, but this has a few issues. This Bush offers similar performance while offering better stablility.

Dual SIM is a nice touch. Camera is surprisingly good. Speaker, while not Brilliant is not weedy either (the thing that annoys me most about phones is a crap speaker!) Bit tinny but heard much worse, and not hugely loud, but not quiet either.

Value for money is stonking here! In the Box Phone, Battery, Charger, 2 x battery covers, 1 x Gel Case, 1 x Screen Protector - All for £50 is phenomenal. I'd choose this over a Moto E all day long.

Had to take this back to Argos - I couldn't make calls, and kept taking the battery out. I also had the issue with the apps going black when searching too. Gone back to an old S3 knocking about.

I love this phone but it and all my apps are really buggy, even though I have got the .420 update. Can anyone please help?
Hi There, can you confirm if you reset the handset after doing the update to .420 but also did you update the Microsoft Store App first before updating the rest of the bundled apps and then installing the additional ones.
Can you confirm which apps are you having problems with - are they the standard bundled ones on the handset or are they additional apps that you've installed via the Microsoft Store?
Hello, I did reset the handset after the update but I am not sure about the Microsoft app. I installed the additional apps after the bundled ones. The apps that are giving me grief are the additional ones ( Amazon, Ebay, Barclays Bank, etc).
What's the issues your encountering and any chance you post the links to the apps to confirm they are the valid ones.
Whenever I need to type something in app the screen goes completely black, be it a search item from amazon or eBay or my pin for Barclays or even searching for a ringtone from an app, they all go black. The keyboard comes up but I can't see anywhere to write on. I have no idea how to post the links, I am afraid.
I've tried replicating your fault on my handset and I'm not getting the same issue via the Amazon App but saying that it's not that great when I'm using it over Mobile Data- via WiFi it's perfectly fine if a bit slow. I would it peg it done to the App for that on my handset but not sure about yours, as I'm getting the keyboard popping up with no problems - the Barclays App I can't test as I don't have an account with them at all.
Settings/System/Display/ Drag the slider to reduce size of text and apps on display down to about 50%
You should be able to log into all apps now.
Thanks a lot, after getting sick and tired of all the app problems I was literally about to return it. I just checked this thread and quite sceptically did as you advised, lo and behold it worked.

Mine's already in bits and will meet Dr Dremel tomorrow to create some space to fit a RPi inside.
Is it just empty space inside? A picture would be great!

No, it's got a massive plastic tube/block inside in which the speaker sits (helps with amplification), but there's enough space at either side to mount a RPi. Just needs a small section cut away to fit with the SD card in.

If I dont forget, I'll get some pictures...

I'm really happy with mine - looks nice and sounds nice

Louder than I thought (considering it's only 4 watts), but you'll probably want something a bit more powerful if you're having a party or whatever

It also has two alarms that can be set to different stations, which is a nice touch

That's right, miniature roses, being sold for indoors, but they can be planted in the garden too if you want. Roses by nature aren't really house plants but these will be ok indoors or outside , once the colder weather comes you might need to protect them if you want them to overwinter well, depends on your location etc.

Probably a pricing error.

I think it's got to be, that or some kind of placeholder price that will stay until they actually have some in.

You never normally get a full HD screen or even 2GB RAM or 32GB storage for this kind of price, or indeed even under £100, most tablets with those specs would go for at least double the price of this.

I know Bush is a budget brand so that might keep a lid on the price but I still don't think it will be this low really.

I wanted to buy one too, I even check other retailers but it seems to be a Argos exclusive, I'd be very interested to know if anyone else has seen this advertised anywhere else?

Bush products are sold exclusively at Argos and Homebase as the brand is owned by Home Retail Group.
I bet the screen is full of dead pixels. Can't remember a owning a Bush device that didn't have a few dead pixels!

Took delivery of this on Saturday. It's even deeper than the Argos model it replaced in 2011.

The cutlery tray comes at the expense of less space down below. This leaves 3 options:

1. The blade hits the larger plates on the bottom rack.

2. You can adjust the height of the upper basket to solve that problem, but means you cannot stack wine glasses and tall tumblers upright.

3. You remove the top cutlery draw and use the cutlery basket from your old dishwasher eliminating both of the both.

In all other respects a great value machine, bearing in mind the stainless steel construction. The control panel is attractive and good quality and as you would expect quiet and economical. It washes well.

Installation was fairly straightforward.

If you can live with the above shortcomings, I would say it's every bit as good as a dishwasher costing £100 more.
anybody bought this, or already have one?
I need to replace one that doesn't work. Assuming I can just fit kitchen unit door to this one?

Shame it's not a 3D Bush but heat anyway!
I bought a 3D tv 3 years back and have it used it less than 3 times in total. And trust me, it is not that pleasent to watch tv's with this glasses as well.
Played quite a bit of rocket league and noticed no input lag or blur. Don't expect miracles though
Anyone got some feedback on this? Would like it for gaming. Plenty available and I believe it's a great price. Not too worried about sound but I would hope it has no motion blur or input lag. Looking forward to hearing anyone's view who owns it. Thanks
how is everyone finding the picture quality? we got ours last night and I'm not 100% sure on the picture seems grainy
Picked this up today when I saw the price. Perfect for my new flat.

Seems really decent for the price. Impressed.

Half price? So this was £700?? oO
Yes, no doubt for 28 consecutive days in the last 6 months in one of their stores or catalogue.... to meet the criteria to state a sale price, if I recall. Same as DFS, put up the price for a bit, meet the legal minimum requirement then have a massive half price sale. AKA bull plop RRP's.

As with most Argos sale prices, note it says:

Half-hardy Shrub
Ideal For:patio, wildlife gardens, specimen plant
Flowering Period:June, July, August, September
Position:sun or semi shade
Hardiness:Half-hardy
Tasty berries and beautiful blooms
Brand new fruit high in Vitamin C
Up to 300 berries per plant each year
Unique flavour combining fig and kiwi
Keeps on flowering while fruiting
A brand new strain of edible fuchsia berry from Thompson & Morgan's own breeding programme. Not only does the Fuchsia Berry produce large sweet fruits packed with vitamin C and nutrients, it also produces beautiful blooms right through to autumn.
Yeah I wonder what research has been done to certify they are safe to eat, like carcinogenicity trials etc. Answer (very very very likely true) is zero.
Anyway T&M can fondle my berries after their last swizz. Pushing a rose called 'eyes for you' at the time with very nice pics. I even waited a long time as the season's launch of this rose was a sell out and my order was put back a year. Anyway the rose was not as pictured. I posted a review on their site that stuck to their T&C but it was pulled. The reviews that were published more or less confirmed my point of view nonetheless. I buy their seeds but that is it.
Fondle my berries is my new fave saying lol
LOL fyi It was born during my school days as an alternative to 'kiss my a**'.

Love it

But remember they only probably looked at toxins (I guess this since can't get the page to load).

Bush is a Argos only brand And will be a rebadged tv like most low priced sets it does not have the best of reputations and your TVs might struggle to last the 12 months warranty period I would Rather pay 68.91 pounds more and get this http://www.richersounds.com/product/tv---all/hisense/ltdn40k321/hise-ltdn40k321uwts with a 6 year warranty. Plus you can get £10 off when you join richer sounds free vip club.

£299.99 - 249.99 = £50 difference, no? I don't quite understand the £68.94 or £70, or am I missing something? Is the addition for the 6 year guarantee?

And do new vip members get £10 off first purchase?

That defo makes the hisense a great deal for me. Although I'm waiting to hear about the sound sync, as I heard it was slightly off.

Out of stock everywhere?
Thank you, matth9999. I was actually wondering about what would happen if I decided to cancel DURING the coooling off period (if mum didn't like Sky). In that case, can we connect her TV to a Freesat digital recorder box, and then connect the box to the Sky cables that are still in place. That should give her Freesat, no?
We have one in playroom. Kids love the Netflix & YouTube apps and it's great for the wii too.

Hello all,
Can this TV be hooked up to Sky? I need one for my mother's bedroom, she's disabled and in bed a lot. The Sky engineer told me that if she doesn't like the Sky channels, and wants to cancel the Sky subscription, they usually leave the Sky cables in place in she changes her mind in the future. It seems the cables are connected to the Sky plus HD box and NOT the TV itself. If that happens, can I get the TV connected to a digital recorder Freesat box, and then connect the Freesat recorder to the Sky cables? Then will she be able to get Freesat? She is not that keen on Freeview.

Any TV can be used with a box.

It's rare, but there are a few TVs with satellite tuning built in, if a really tidy satellite hookup is needed - first one I spotted was a blaupunkt on a foreign site.

PS. So long as you are out of contract obligation, you keep ALL the Sky kit, and it drops to "Freesat from Sky" mode (free channels only, plus feature disabled).

Got this recently,
Good points - great picture
lots of connectivity
price
Bad points - the sound , its tinny, the frame vibrates and rattles on most settings despite the volume not being very high.
serious delay when using the remote, the action can be seconds after the button is pushed to change channel, volume etc
the remote control has SEIKI on it and an attempt has been made to remove it.
When i have the time, its coming off the wall to be returned, i will try a replacement just incase i got a dud.
Aha! My remote looks as though the bottom part has had a belt sander on it. Couldn`t make out what was written, but now I know. Seiki are pretty well regarded on these threads.
Can`t comment on the sound as I use mine for CCTV.

I totally agree Bush products are awful my £200 slim dishwasher only lasted 22 months and so I've had to buy a new one cheap products they are not, they are expensive when they only last a few months. Cheap rubbish.
There has only been on thing with the word "bush' associated with it that was worth paying any attention to, and this isn't it.

Seriously , though, Bush products are universally low-grade rubbish; always have been, always will be. They are made as cheaply as possible and priced up only so that they can be marked down again as 'bargains'.

We used to have a telly like that when I was a lad. It changed channels when you opened a bag of crisps or rustled the newspaper.
We had one too.
I remember the one we had was a 'deluxe' version :) ie.it had a wheelie stand, whereas cheaper ones didn't.
Later models also came with teletext but ours didn't.

If you HAVE to buy a cheap 4k TV at least buy this: http://www.trustedreviews.com/hisense-ltdn50k321uwt-review
It's not entirely terrible like this Bush is. You're still probably better off with a quality 1080p set for this money though.
Please tell, whats wrong with the bush in your experience?
Even the Hisense has wifi and smart features (plus 4k streaming) for not hugely more than this. The colours are a bit of a mess. I also believe this is one of the large Bush models with very high input lag and therefore not so hot for games. Typical problem with cheap big screen 4k HDTVs is pretty massive input lag. Ok if you have no plans to game maybe.
I didn't know about the input lag on large 4K TVs , does the hisense suffer that? I've read that the hisense are one of the best tv manufacturers and especially for value
I think if this was bought for only / mainly blu rays or 4K films it'd be a great buy from what I've heard

The Hisense 'suffers' from mediocre input lag, which again is to be expected from a large, cheap 4K panel. The difference is the Hisense's input lag isn't so bad as to really hurt too much as long as you use the correct game mode. The Bush however especially the 50 and 55 inch models are really poor and there isn't much you can do about it. It's a mixture of things, the panel itself but more likely the scaler hardware not exactly being the fastest between making the picture fit all those pixels. It's no gaming TV.
