Ah you've changed it, and now commented 'Where'.....you are an actual genius

szaman81 already posted it. Cost only 10% more. No brainer really

The uninformed have already bought their 55" Polaroid HD Ready screens from Asda for £259 with their weekly shop (embarrassed)

To anyone with any sense and knowledge of tvs its obviously not an oled set, but that DLED marketing term screams of trying to mislead the uninformed.

£19.99 for Bush Portable Wireless Speaker @ Argos
Found 12th AprFound 12th Apr
Bush Portable Wireless Speaker at just £19.99 (party) (y)

I got the other one of these from eBay couple of months ago and yes it does - you might need or want to pad it a bit to stop it vibrating/rattling. I haven’t ridden around with it but handy on the turbo trainer! JBL Charge fits better though and goes way louder!

Just buy an Anker Soundcore mini £17.99 and its insane. Save some money and get a real qaulity speaker. This is a rip off for portable speakers.. only 4 hours battery? Soundcore mini has 15 hours lol

Depends how big it is and how many inches

Will this fit in my bottle cage on my bike?? :-)

£39.99 for Bush Wireless Speaker With Amazon Alexa @ Argos
Found 12th AprFound 12th Apr
Bush Wireless Speaker With Amazon Alexa at just £39.99 (y)

The sound on this unit is loud enough but theres not much bass. They reduced it from £90 to £60 and now £40 as it obviously hasn't sold because you have to mess around with a third party app to make it work. Got it for my folks but ended up returning it as the app wouldn't work on iPhone 4's. The £29.99 one from home bargains is a much better purchase.

My daughters autistic and throws hers down the stairs at the wall ect all we have is a bumper case and lenovo lasted 8 months before screen breaking so dont worry about dropping it if youve got a rubber case

I agree, my 10 inch Bush Tablet feels very study has been dropped twice and it's still as good as new.

Dont know, you would have to ask it

Does it do punctuation? ;)

How can you say a newer tablet is crap from the use of an old one. Things change. You of course are free not to buy the brand from experience. There are few tablets that use a newer OS than Android Marshmallow (Lenovo being one that uses Nuguat) even Amazon's FireOS is still based on it. There is little else they do to them now other than a bit of branding. Try one, then see what it is like. It seems it's an ok tablet from the People that actually use it (for £80). Really it should be how does it compare to a Amazon Fire HD8, which are often a similar price but with the (in my opinion) slightly annoying interface to use? That don't know. For me, a Lenovo Tab 4 Pro 8 is better to use than a Fire HD 8 (2017) but then it is twice as much. I do have both. If it comparable to a FireHD8 then it a good tablet for most people.

But of course there are exceptions to the rule. An LG washing costing £350 (well within the mid-range) shares many of the same internals as their £700 models. The differences are in cosmetics, features and larger load capacity, but otherwise the same machine. By going entry level on a decent make, you are benefitting from the core internals of that product. These are generally of high build quality, which in turn enable the longevity and reliability of the product. Often, when you go mid-range on a rubbish brand, you get the same poor quality internals with a few whistles and bells added for good measures. The only caveat here is that some brands use different manufacturing sited within their ranges. Bosch for example manufacture in Spain, Turkey and Poland. The vast majority of LG and Samsung washers sold in Europe are manufactured in Poland. And the moral of the story. It is always better to go entry level on a quality brand, than to go flagship on a poor one.

You sure? Yes I can and it's clearly you who can't. Again it's cheaper than it usual so of course people are going to vote hot.

I am not surprised.

Many of the comments from people on hot deals will knock most lower end budget products without actually ever owning the product although they will claim they have, the main reason low cost washing machines have a shorter life is because they normally have a smaller capacity wash loads, but people still load them with a 10kg family wash load and then complain it did not wash there clothes properly or after 6 months the bearings gave out.

Yes i do.How can this deal be a bargain, cant you read.

No HDR support by the look of it, and only has 2 HDMI ports which would put me off. Has SCART though, and a headphone socket - not even the latest iPhones have that!! Not voted, but if you are looking at investing in 4K UHD, you might as well get at least some sort of HDR as well...

100% agree the Smart features on a TV are almost always naff... but I think most TVs now (especially 4K ones) come with "Smart" features as standard

I think the main part of the deal is the size with the 4K smart is just an added extra adds no value.

If you're after a cheap TV I'd suggest you drop the 'smart' part and just get a plain flat screen TV, the smart in these is poor at best, much better off with a firestick or chrome add on. May be a good deal, but don't expect much from the smart part...!

wouldn't play my rare soul records on one of these, that's for sure

there's no subtitles and it's a half hour long, but skipping through i can't see any sign of a microscope or any equipment to properly measure the damage these players cause, so i'd be very wary of what he's saying. the damage to records caused by badly calibrated turntables isn't normally seen easily by the naked eye when the record is going round the turntable 45 times a minute with a stylus in the grooves, the vinyl heats up and the stylus cuts through the vinyl like a hot knife through butter, and instantly cools, trapping things like dust in the vinyl, which is why you get pops and clicks that you can't get rid off. if the turntable isn't calibrated properly, this is where most damage is caused. it's permanent damage that you can't easily see with the naked eye. it's not like taking a knife and making obviously visible surface scratches the problem with this is when people eventually get bored of the fad and the records end up on the second hand market, collectors won't easily be able to tell how bad a record is damaged by looking at pictures or descriptions by sellers who will base condition on looking at the vinyl http://www.audioappraisal.com/will-a-cheap-turntable-damage-your-records/ https://budgetvinylcollector.wordpress.com/2016/08/28/why-cheap-turntables-ruin-vinyl/ http://www.soundmattersblog.com/whats-wrong-cheap-record-players/

Alternatively why not just throw your records into a hedge?

false economy, this will scratch records very easily, If you're happy to spend £20 on a player, and then re-buy your collection once a year, crack on, I'd prefer the dearer playr & buying the cllection once, just adding to it each year.

8 D size batteries? Bloody hell that's going to cost you more than the actual unit....then again that is in line with how many batteries boom boxes use to take.

Its hard to believe this can be made for this price. Until you hear what it sounds like. You are are more likely to hear a raspberry than a boom.

Better to buy an old Pioneer belt drive deck (PL-112) in good condition and pair with an Ortofon OM5 cartridge/stylus. First step into decent quality hifi.

If this is used to play any of the autotuned banality that clogs up the singles chart it's probably the stylus that will give up. I suppose it could be used to see if your vinyl is warped.

I'm not dissing the deal, great value for £10 but I would spend the exta £15 and get this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Bayan-Audio-Soundbook-Go-Bluetooth/dp/B00LTRVI18/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1516790819&sr=8-1&keywords=bayan+soundbook+go I bought 2 over Christmas and the sound quality and battery life are great. It has NFC connection too and opening and closing the stand turns it on/off which is really handy.

Bush 7kg/1400 spins washer £159 delivered @ Argos
Found 11th JanFound 11th Jan
Argos own Bush brand has a whack off this basic wm.

I think it was the Hoover/ Hotpoint/ Zanussi/ Candy ones he was warning about, the £350-400 jobs. Bosch I think are a bit better than these. I've had my Argos Haier one for 10 years and although the door sensor is a bit dodgy, it's still running (touch wood) and it was about £180.

I think Argos invite people to review their products via email, you can't just log in and leave a review, so I would take them with a pinch of salt. They've only invited me to review a product once. And do they even publish most of the bad reviews? It's not like Amazon's review system that's for sure.

In my experience most people are overfilling wm/wrong program if it ain’t washing clothes. That’s the basic of all machines which are designed to do such. My Hotpoint - 40c wash for shirts uses most water, I use this for everything (except bedding, underwear and towels 60c) 80min 1400spin wash - much better than the minimal water 40c cottons wash that’s over 2 hour cycle and isn’t the best at washing due to the water saving feature that really is. A £400 machine isn’t perfect either^, people really need to keep a copy of the programs near their wm.

If that score is on the Argos site you need to be very cautious: that's from people who've just bought one (so based on price over performance/reliability - and they're unlikely so say they were stupid to buy it) and I have my own concerns about Argos reviews: they do often seem excessively positive for very mediocre goods. Is it a reflection of their customer base?

Not sure that's true but it's not just about how long they last - do they do the job? I read a Which? review recently for a Hisense washing machine: it was cheap but the review said something like 'fails to do what you bought it for, ie wash your clothes'! Interestingly, when I needed a new washer just before Christmas I also looked at reviews for Miele at over £1000: said they were the most reliable (by a small margin) but still not the best at getting clothes clean. Went for another Bosch in the end and hope it lasts 11 years like the previous one. Choose the right one (plus a bit of luck thrown in) and mid market can offer the best value over time. I could buy three of those Bosch machines for the price of the Miele.
