I did notice but the other deals listed are still available
Expired - now £111
Through a motoring club I can buy JL digital gift card for a 3% discount, and then go thru TCB for hopefully 2% so will make it nearly £5 cheaper. Every little helps :-)
I love Lego but it's space confinements otherwise I'd go mad. Hence I'm restricted to only a couple of sets :-(
Nice find. Looks like a couple of good sets. Ordered (y) (skeptical) Seems a lot are worried about resale value nowadays. What happened to the days of building Lego for the fun of it? Guess it died when Lego stopped being reasonably priced (fierce)
I'm glad some do receive Argos Lego orders in good shape :) Here's my most recent just as an example for others though:There was no stock left to exchange at the time. Thankfully wasn't an expensive set in this case.
Never seen anything like that, but again it’s just me
Have Tesco become the new Toys R Us, that is hoarding retired Lego sets, if you don't learn from your own mistakes you should at least learn from a total disaster that was Toys R Us.
The boxes are battered and they use tape to put it together and than sell it as new stock
To be fair to Tabby he's just given everyone some good advice re. John Lewis. very helpful to those that get to this Lego store. let have some balance here. He's been candid but tried to help
Another quote from Jay "TabbyBoy" always talks bs
Why would an overcrowded store that appears to do lots of business close so soon. It is their flagship store and they like people to be queuing in Leicester Sq, it shows how popular the brand is when the store has queues outside.
To avoid the immense stress of visiting this dreadful shop, contact John Lewis Westfield and they can price match AND deliver. I just ordered 5 from there and they have 2 left. If only LEGO Hell branch would deliver to homes and NOT only local hotels. I've heard that the store is closing in October as well as the Watford branch. LEGO in trouble?

LEGO The Batman Movie The Joker Balloon Escape - 70900£7.99£11.9933% offArgos Deals
Great stocking filler seams to be quite a lot of stock.
Out of stock for delivery and cashback only valid for delivery
i used excel!
The 20% cashback (actually 16.67% after VAT) does NOT apply if you click and collect. I found out and just didn't bother to pick up my order. I should've known better as TRU have let me down consistently and they've done it again. I didn't want to risk delivery as it's highly likely that you'll get smashed boxes thrown on to your doorstep. I'm hoping that TRU disappears in the UK soon as they really are the pits! Cooling added as it's TRU - sorry, I can't help it.
Ah I see so you did either 169.99-(169.99*0.8*0.2)=142.79 or 169.99-(149.99*0.8*0.2)=143.59? It was excluding the TRU £10 voucher, but in fact 20% off the full £164.99, as stated. I have the correct cashback figure showing in my tcb (y)
Figures. 20% excludes vat and tru voucher i assume :)

Flubit offered me £164....i'm an elite member too.
Amazon are just as bad as everyone else, in my opinion. Recieved countless damaged Lego boxes from them.
Rated 16: Not for sale to persons under the age of 16. This item must be used responsibly and appropriately. Warning: Protective equipment should be worn. Not to be used in traffic. Amazon going a bit overboard with the warnings. Or is this an actual real-scale model of a Porsche? Edit: and half way down the page, "not appropriate for children under the age of 30"
great price, thanks :)
Amazon are one of the better ones. It will probably come in a cardboard box. But Tesco Direct wrap in bin liner or, as was the case with my last model ordered, no wrapping whatsoever. The sticker just stuck on the LEGO box. oO
1:1 copy. I bought the white with red details and a much better colour combo imo. From the 2700 odd peices, i only had one with a real discrepency and even that was minor. Basically one of the technik stick bits was wrong, the one thats meant to be used was missing...but there is one supplied that was 3mm longer. This litteraly could have been a 1off packing issue and no biggie as was only part of the hinge assembley not seen. If you do get the leplin in any other colour, some common sense is needed as instuctions based on orange teckniks car. Just a case of substituting orange with white for me and a couple of the other bits to cover the new red accents used. Another thing worth noting is the bags are not really numbered like Lego sets so will take that much extra effort, but overall...chuffed with it. Ohhhh, one thing thats bit dissapointening is the stickers. Perfect quality and that, but they dont 'brand' things, so whilst similar in design, wont have manufacture logos...has a substitute one. Real sticker sheets are only a couple quid on ebay, so if i was to build again...i'd get them!!!
Ahhhh, hangs head in shame :|
And colour, both the white and green look better than the orange - in my opinion :)
are the lepin models any good ? a russian guy on youtube compares both and to me they are not that dissimilar ...apart from price
Not tried it. Used my code on the Batman Batwing £36 set.
Does the £20 off code work on big sets ? I tried on a couple sets but wouldn't work :(
? they are not bugattis. You can buy an old Boxster for £4k
I'd love to get this for my little one but unfortunately I think he'd just wreck it reducing me to tears
The do offer a Leplin box, its just a fiver more and think theres a vid on you tube about the paper booklet instructions they can supply too, whilst similar..missing out some of the further simplified diagrams between steps....prob just to differ that much enough from the original to get away with it. Gotta say, printed the Lego one in A4 double sided (tbf, what they supply would be smaller) and its a lever arch folder full, weighs a fair bit.
I voted hot because its the best price around now and no-one owns a DeLorean ....
Yup, it drives me mad when people downvote something because it was cheaper a week ago! It's still better than prices elsewhere, so it's a good deal, even if it's not the best it is or has been. Heat from me, OP. Same price at John Lewis also.
Best price at the moment. It's been cheaper in the past but without timetravel it might be a tad bit difficult to get it cheaper right now. Have some heat!
Thanks, just ordered this for my Dad who has been eyeing it up for a while :D
Your ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

LEGO Technic 42056 Porsche 911 GT3 RS £156.74 @ John Lewis£156.74John Lewis Deals
This isn't even technically refined either, the gearing is **** because they tried too hard with the paddle shifters, and the clicking whilst pushing, yuk. The suspension and steering are a step back too. For the size, parts its okayish for this price, if you ignore the branding.
So am I! All I got was unfortunately you have found the best deal! The same on the now higher price too! :(
Managed to Flubit (Elite member) it earlier for £148.64 so its bought :)
Had been toying with the idea overnight, asked Flubit, came back with nothing this morning, now it's up in price! :( any codes or anything to get this a bit lower, 100% buying it sub £150!!!!
Collected mine today and it was still sealed in the original Lego branded cardboard box instead of the normal Tesco grey plastic bag. Will use the 1000pts with redspottedhankey so effectively £135.05 after Quidco. (£156.74-(£19+£2.69)
OOS @ Tesco but in stock at John Lewis - http://www.johnlewis.com/lego-technic-42056-porsche-911-gt3-rs/p2895687
