Can’t see any guarantee of the free expansion kit, shows as while stocks last in the description and doesn’t add anything to the basket so you may or may not get it

Wait six months and these will be sub £30, No point buying now.

I personally don't, not the same as lego, it's more like a rip off mega bloks would push out Just Lego and Nintendo trying to cash in

We all know that this Mario-Lego thing is a rip-off.

Ditto creator Vs technic. I actually don't mind Harleys but the set doesn't look right somehow... cartoonish, too bulky? As a Duke fan the technic set is a must. Can join the 'not' 999 street bike 8420

I think the Harley is better then again im not too crazy about Technic sets. Though i wouldn't mind getting the Ducati though.

Harley - meh. Ducati model being released Monday.

I've expired it for now, fingers cross for more stock during the 10% off.

I bought this recently for £13.50 too We think it's worth the money It flys as we expected like any other similar flying toy there isn't much building to it though I personally think it would be better as Lego junior for that reason but the kids still enjoyed it mine are 7 and 9. Hope this helps.

I read this review on Brickset and well the plane doesn't fly so not really a set im after unless its dirt cheap. But if you really want this you could alternatively get it for £13.49 at Smyths Free delivery to all account holders or on orders over £19 or free no contact click & collect at most Smyths stores.

They tend to have longer shelf lives than most sets, around 3 years. you have plenty of warning on Lego Shop before they retire too. Just get the oldest set available first and you'll be okay :)

It's expected to be a microscale Hogsmeade with an unidentified exclusive minifig based on rumours.

They only seem to have this image in the instructions though, so it's not being advertised a huge amount. It's not shown on the box anywhere or on the Lego website. I guess we'll see. I could definitely see Whomping Willow being retired sometime soon.

Not that I've looked into it, but the Creator modular sets always make me worry about this issue

Bought the cheaper version linked in the comments. Email from eBay saying it was a fraudulent account, got my refund instantly. Worth a punt. Amazon delivering tomorrow 😁

Haven't had very good experience with eBay Protection unfortunately, they made it as painful as possible to get a refund, was a lesson learnt, I tend to steer clear of non premium sellers on ebay, but it could just be me and my caution.

No need to worry. eBay protection and PayPal protection. There’s zero risk. You either get a bargain, get a refund, or get a cheap copy sent to you and still get a refund.

Bought this from tescos a couple of weeks ago for 22.50.

Good price for sure, but I'd be wary of buying from a seller with just 5 ratings.

Old deals aren't irrelevant though - they're a good indicator of whether the current price is a good deal or just a reduction on an inflated RRP. This isn't "The Best Price For This Product At This Exact" after all?

Please get a life.....the comment is completely valid. Unless you have a time machine, old (no longer available) deals are irrelevant.

You can report all you want, but these comments are valid. The site is a "hot deal" site not a "best price at present" site. If an item has been much cheaper only a few months back, it will likely go cheaper again in the future. I feel sorry for people that are buying these LEGO sets at 15-20% off RRP thinking they are getting a good deal when there is a 90% chance they will be able to get them at much cheaper price later on. I think it is important to rate deals based on past price not just the current price.

Infact - surely that stuff in the type of forum this is, just counts as trolling. Cos it helps nothing. Just can't believe it takes more than 1 to troll. Others have to get in on it too. Don't worry peeps. I'm off to report those needless comments. Disgusting.

So weird. Didn't realise this was supposed to be a time travelling or some sort of historical price lookup app... You're the 3rd "person" now to state something that is totally irrelevant. The deals are about the best price for this moment in time. Sure, I guess its fine for 1 person to say it was cheaper sometime ago. Maybe. But instead there's many. Starts sounding like children trying to out do each other "my dad's bigger than your“ esque / style. Idiotic. Good deal. Thanks OP for sharing. Sorry you can't do the impossible and make it the cheapest it's ever been in history! This'll have to do. (cheeky)

You can actually open up a SNAD case as it's NOT as described. You keep the set (if it ever arrives) and a refund.

At least you won't get a bashed up box covered in stickers like Argos!

Since it was only bought today, the seller will likely cancel the sale as "error in the listing" or something like that. It's only a deal if you physically get it at that price, I hope you do ;-)

Good to know...think I might play the "Father's day" Card and get my first set next month. It should give him enough time to get used to it hopefully. :)

Not the best time for my lego obsession to return. ;( First the Nissan and now this!

Yet, it'll still be worth c.£100 in 2 years time on Ebay...

This. Even reduced looks overpriced for what it is; pretty much a generic police station with a couple of guns and (you’re paying for the) big minifigs.

Heat from me. Good price.

"Awesome looking set though!" Really? Looks hideous to me. The avengers compound building is pretty weak and that helicopter looks beyond naff. Only redeeming thing are the two big figs. Still, has about 26% discount off RRP so heat from me.

I ordered a lego set from iwoot on Sunday which came this afternoon. It was a medium sized set (the remote controlled car listed a few days ago) and came in 'as new' condition.

I must admit I quite liked the GTR, I have both the Audi and GTR, they both look great once finished. This Porsche one though I will have to smuggle into my home without my kids noticing it so I can build it myself haha (evil laugh)

Agreed the Audi is my favourite so far! Audi also has advantage that the original car's design lends itself perfectly to being replicated in Lego whereas GT-R doesn't. However the Porsche came out beautifully even if the proportions are wrong while the GT-R looks a bit like a monstrosity.

The GT-R was a huge letdown, it doesn't look anything like the real one from the front/side. The Audi on the other hand is one of the best looking SC cars to date!

The 8 stud models are certainly an improvement and I have them all but this Porsche is a really nice design, and more attractive looking than some of the new ones. For example I think plenty of people would say this is more attractive than the Nissan GT-R

The Audi and Nissan are cheaper at only £12.99 at Amazon currently price matching

(lol) (lol) That’s fair. I feel the same way about myself to be honest. I think everyone is going a bit crazy.

2 months into lockdown and I’m not sure I can put a price on keeping my kids entertained for an hour...

Oh, I’m well aware it is still usable once it’s built, but I was hearing my question more towards the people that only build them. I.e. the user did say they got an hour of fun out of it.

I know. I hate it when I have to set my lego sets on fire an hour after I built them :D The point of lego is, might take her an hour to make it, but you made a toy. You can play with it for as long as you want, and when you bore of it. Make something else!

It might be cheap for the set, but do you not think £14 for an hour of fun is expensive? Compared to-a reading book, colouring book, jigsaw, board game, video game, dvd, ball or other sport? Not criticising you mate. I’ve just pondered it before myself.
