This mouse is the GOAT. Crazy to think how cheap these used to be. I recently changed jobs and handed my laptop back with the USB receiver accidentally still plugged in. Well I contacted Logitech about this and they sent me a replacement FOC - now that’s service 🤙

use one for work,, takes a lot of abuse, thrown in my bag etc, absolute great mouse, feels great

nice to use, so good i bought another as a spare last year, yet to use it!

For the receiver? It's kind of a waste of a port. For the mouse itself, it takes an AA battery, no USB port.

A good hack with these is to get a AA-AAA adapter to save weight. The battery life is still good and it feels a lot closer to the pricer lightweight gaming mice.

Dont use adapter, hammer some tin foil into a ball or cube, and use energizer lithiums, much lighter!

I had this mouse and liked it when it worked. It failed after 20 off months, right mouse button stopped working. Since it was purchased from Amazon and it had a 2 year warranty, returning it wasnt an issue.
Replaced it with a razer cobra which is good but has a rubbish scroll switch compared to the G305.

I used a g305 for almost four years before the left click gave up the ghost. Paid about this much for it, and paid this much for it when somewhere along the way i got a lilac one as a spare.

Had i not treated myself and used the opportunity to upgrade to superlight 2, id have gotten another. Hell if they did the g305 in the superlight2 magenta i'd have gotten that...

decent basic mouse but I wouldn't pay more than 20 for it, cheap plastic build

Cheers dude, was looking for a new mouse and this one often seems to come up as the best 'budget mouse'

I’d say it’s worth getting one whenever they are around £25-£30. I have three, none are broken but I use them in different machines because they’re a good all-rounder. Even with a battery in it’s nice and light.

There are some on eBay for £20-£25, is eBay known for selling fakes?

Not to bad mouse , I had to add some electrical tape on battery cover as it was constantly crackling when in use.

Mine was doing this and I put it on a radiator (just for a few minutes), something expanded and it stopped happening. Your mileage may vary.

Everly ligitech mouse will start double clicking, sooner or later. It makes sense to buy a cheap one because of that.

My wireless Logitech mouse over 10 years and still works fine! It double clicks only when I double clicks!

Can't say I've ever had a problem with a Logitech mouse doing that. I've had a G305 for 5 years and its still perfect despite very heavy use, bought another for work 18 months ago and that's all good as well.

My favourite mouse of all time. Use an AAA adaptor.

Seeing a few comments mention this should be sub £30. If so, why is this getting heat?

Great mouse but the scroll wheel has gone on two of mine.

If this is anything like my MX master, the wireless lags for no reason at all regularly on my gaming PC. Works fine with work laptop however.

I had to return mine, the mouse was so small - I found it really uncomfortable to use. I don't have particularly large hands either
