I have this but the 7.1 surround sound isn't 'next gen'!

Great headset have 3 of them in the house for the kids. Mic or headphone jack gets broken no problem you just buy a new cable. Was tired for binning the hyper X headsets when the kids bent the jack!

I hate the whole emphasis on "Blue Voice".
It makes the Mic Output so awful and way too loud. (that's using a Blue Yeti)

    Other than that, heat. (edited)

If you’re using it on PC, you can change the volume/equaliser to your preferences in the Logitech app.
Not sure about console gaming though.

I love this headset - had mine for almost 5 years and bought it for £110. This is a great deal! (edited)

I just ordered it. I have Logitech G PRO X wireless and ordered this as a backup.

Do you have to use the dongle with this headset? I have Creative G6 which I can't fault, paired with and aging pair of AKG 712 Pro's.

I think the dongle is mostly for PC so that you can have all the customisation options from logitech ghub software. They work fine without it though I've only really tried the audio through my steam deck on the 3.5mm jack. Haven't tried the mic without the dongle. Also when I say dongle it's more of a usb adapter that has a sound card built into it I think.

Very , very quiet set…. I ordered them twice cuz I was thinking first ones were broken - another pair had same issue?

There's an inline volume control just in case that might have been your issue?

    Razer wireless one for 100

Would take this one any day over razer. I own this headset, and have had a couple of razer products in the past. Both Razor headsets broke, and you can tell they're poorly made (super light plastic).

Excellent headset, well worth the money. Heads up, check Amazon Warehouse, I got a brand new one for 40 quid.

Can the headset be used as wired?

Its only wired. Comes with a couple of cables, one attached to a USB soundcard and the other for like mobiles.
