Shavers are the kind of product that we’re willing to cheap on, despite using them on a regular basis. But when a shaver fails on holiday or becomes blunt after a couple of weeks of use, the value of a high-quality device becomes clear. Anyone who wants the finest shavers in the world can find the biggest brands at great prices by checking out the hotukdeals shaver listings. Read more

I bought one the 1st time round. It's a good shaver, well worth £13. It easily cut through 5 days of growth like John Rambo through a rainforest...

Biker.Jeff

Bloody ell..... That sold out quick.. The e-bay'rs must have been buying up 20 at a time again.

I was after buying one for £20 so i dont mind paying that. But if not its alrite, ill have to just be quicker next time lol. I do need a cordless as i havent got a mains socket in my bathroom.

JayJaz

Lol, I'm only paying £22.48. I'd feel well harsh to sell you it for £20! Not sure if I am going to give my spare to anyone else or not, seems a good present! Argos have got a mains only shaver for £18.98, looks decent enough? Unless you have to have cordless.

scousertommy

Unless anyone fancies selling me one for £20 lol.

scousertommy

True but ah well, missed that other one and want one for under £20. Best i could find.

Biker.Jeff

16 hour charge on that one mind !

Gillette Razors - Fusion, Fusions Stealth, M3 HALF PRICE at Morrisons!
Went in today and found an offer for these half price at the moment (around the £3.50 mark) which is a great price considering it comes with spare blades as well!!

A good razor with expensive blades - glad to get any opportunity to get them cheap - voted HOT on the deal, a nice spot. One "but" (no reflection on the poster). My nearest Morrisons is Aylesbury and I went there once - it was pants. Queues of people waiting with trolleys half way down the aisles and only two checkouts open. No manager or supervisor around or taking an interest, other staff doing more important stuff like stocking shelves. I abandoned my trolley alongside the other trolley flotsam that had been cast adrift by Morrisons' ex-customers (no perishables - moggy food and tins) after a TOO long wait, I complained by letter (no manager or supervisor about - remember?). Ater a long wait I got a "we'll look into it" pro-forma - end of story, end of customer relationship. Sorry - end of rant - maybe Morrisons will read and learn ? (my expectations are appropriately set I think).

f1maverick

gonna jump in on my way home.

Yojan

Probably cheaper than buying just the blades, hot!

Gixxerman001

I have one of these razors, pretty good I'd say, I like them(but not the blade/cartridge replacement costs). But the 'add more blades' comment is so true, reminds me of the old Python cartoon of the guy lathering his face, he carries on lathering his whole head & tehn cuts his head off with a cut-throat razor. How long until the 10 blade rack arrives? (and how did our fathers & grandfathers make do with a single safety razor?)

I think this was a reference to the single Amazon review...

EBENEZER.SCROOGE

yes and what point are you trying to make?

doublekite

Your point is what?

CountFilth

I have one of these and agree with the review on amazon. It's a poor shaver, I bought one a while ago to replace a 2 head one which doesn't charge well. On this one the heads rotate too slowly (about half the speed of the old one) and do not have enough power to cut properly.

crazylegs

This one looks cheap and nasty and it ain't washable under the tap either, It also takes 8 hours to get 40 minutes of charge into it! Now thats poor... Review on Amazon says its poor aswell.. The Philips Williams special edition HQ7290 which I bought on here last month for £29 was a far better deal..And a quality shaver.. I would wait for a better quality shaver to come along again before commiting..:)

Great price for this shaver. One caution is that the Conditioner is not that widely available and can be expensive. It'll cost anywhere between £6 and £8 quid for one. That is rated as 3 months supply in "normal" use.

Flake99

Can this be unexpired as still available.

Flake99

Why has this been expired? Due to all the orders being made delivery has changed to 1-2 months (usually amazon are quite conservative with their estimates, so it could be a lot sooner), but it is still available at £7.49 with amazon. It is the first option listed under 'more buying options'.

Review here. Also a tip about the shaving conditioner too! This was my main concern as they may stop making it!. http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews174311.html At £69.99 makes buying blades for my old shaver at £36 seem pointless. Use it in the shower too, how cool!

This shaver is very often half price in boots and argos so i doubt many people will pay £149 rrp anyway, ive had mine for about 7 months and its pretty good but i only paid £75 in boots and then got quidco and used extra advantage point coupon which took it down to £65. So anyone considering it id wait until you see it on offer in these other stores unless your desperate to get your hands on it fast

[image missing] Thought I would add the charger has a container at the back that takes 4 heads - and it comes with a travel box which takes the brush and one head - but no space for the charger. The double action head is shown at the right of the picture.

ibiza

I voted this cold - although its a great tooth brush - and I have the DL version which came with about 7 or 8 heads. It was under 23 quid from Sainsbury's at Christmas - and I was looking to buy a Oral-B 7000 which was 20 quid - but with all the heads included the 8500 DL was a better buy for an extra three quid, especially considering the specs say the 8500 battery lasts far longer. As I said - its a great brush - but its bad points are... It takes AGES to fully charge the first time - well over 36 hours - and I bought three in total - and all took that long. It flashes with a bright blue light while charging - but the flashing light stops sometimes before an entire charge - so sometimes you will look at it and think it has charged quite quickly - but then will run out of power on the first or second day (it can last i would guess two weeks on a good full day charge). The flashing blue light is also SO ANNOYING - especially after you realise it was not always letting yo know when there was a full charge (it stays on continually when 'charged'). When it runs out of power it happens very suddenly with no warning other than starting to slow about 30 sec before it dies entirely. Letting it charge for a couple of hours is not enough to give your teeth a good brush (I brush my teeth lying in the bath for about six mins - in addition to a quick brush after meals). If you hold your finger on the button it slows the speed down to about 50% after ten secs then increases it again to 100% and so on. I cannot see anyone using this, and a level of charge indicator would have made more sense. It does not as mentioned have a two minute timer (but i think the 7000 has) but switches off for a fraction of a sec three times every 30 secs. Lastly - I have never used it to clean my tongue - and doubt many people will. The head that feels like it works best is the "dual action" double head - with the top quickly rotating then counterrotating - and the second head moving from side to side. Being used since christmas - the second head is about to need replaced. Another good product is the Braun "humming bird" flosser.

wozza2k

This item is £34.99 at argos (item number: 4430566 ), without the interdental and tongue cleaner.

Thanks for this one! I've used a few electrics before but was always dissapointed. I decided to give it one last go when I saw this offer and have been really impressed with it! No razor burn (which was always the main problem in the past) and a really close shave. Also much faster than using a blade.
