Ha! It’s all in the name of light hearted fun

This thread shows just how horrible humans really are.. I’m genuinely worried for the future crass generations spawning and injecting them with hatred ;(

johnsmith1997

The North,Scotland,NI etc. is so poor; immigrants don't want got there coz can't make a living!! (cheeky)

Darkwaxer

Are you on about Scotland? Cos hospital parking in the North East is charged and I know for a fact Braintree Community Hospital is free.

DingIs

There seems to a be a few people spouting on about this being a "racist" thread... stop it for gods (or whoevers) sake.. it's not race, it's the north/south economic divide, absolutely NOTHING to do with race, otherwise I'll pull out the Northerners best "race card", Birmingham.... Bimingham counts as The North because it's above Watford Gap, only just, but it is...... 8) 8)

free yet prices go up ;( bit of a joke a lot of these companies deals

beanooo

Did lion king with this 3 years ago but the last 2 years it’s been very difficult to get anything decent. There’s less availability with the dates and more people know about this now so even harder. Also expect there’s people out there buying popular shows to sell them on.

DavetheRave777

Seems like a bit of a fiddle this kids week judging by the comments above. Can anyone in the know please give me some tips on what is the best theatre shows for 7 year olds and best tips to getting cheaper tickets? I assume if you are looking to go in the school holidays you are going to pay through the roof whatever happens?

andrus27

Not sure if we can save any money on this:( example: Wicked normal price 26£ kids week 55£ so cheaper is buying 2 normal tickets

Tribble

Wow just had a small heart palpatation. Booked joseph a week ago for me and my daughter £50 for both of us in the stalls same date and performance time on kids week is prices starting at £80. Cheeky sods. Don't get me wrong might be good on other shows but please look at the theatre prices first

This is a brilliant production. Voted hot

youngrobbo

We had restricted view, right at the back of the Rousing Circle, a couple of years ago for Swan Lake. As its in the round you really didn't miss that much. I think the Albert Hall website had some of the views on there.

youngrobbo

Don't bother with parking for evening performances. Hyde Park, immediately opposite the Royal Albert Hall, is free and generally has plenty of spaces. Only a 5 minute walk.

Mcgrar

Bit wary of not being able to see a lot of the show - any sites where I can see the view from individual seats / any recommendation on which ticket is most worth it?

Word of warning unless they have significantly changed it. My wife took me to this when in London as she knew I loved the film etc. What she didn't realise what it was called something like Stories from Mary Poppins so it was not a like for like copy like for instance The Lion King almost is. It had parts from the film but also other totally random other parts with songs not in the film. It was enjoyable and all that but if you think you are going to see a stage version of the film then I very much doubt you are.

Thanks, booked 2 seats for Wicked. Always wanted to see a West End show and this is a great opportunity. We paid £40 for each ticket in the middle of K row, normally £100+. The bad part is that its going to cost us at least £80 in train fares or £60 for fuel/parking to get there. Transport costs are ridiculous for London.

Strawberries007

I'll like 2 of these if there's still any going.

simes

It depends what day you are wanting . If you are looking for a Saturday, then there is unlikely to be tickets left for any show ( there were not many Saturday tickets to start with ). There are plenty of Mon - Thur tickets still available.

water1234

I've spent a while now looking through the site, upon selecting a new years deal it says all tickets sold out. Does anyone know what shows are actually available at this point? Thanks in advance

The house must of been made in China since nothing of poor quality is made by us British people

tamoil

I remember, watching an episode of Forensic Detectives, about a 2 year girl who died suddenly. It turned out, she had eaten some paint chips, from the wall in the house her parents were renting, and she had died from lead poisoning.

TallYoda

If that's true, it's not obvious like it is on Aliexpress.

yespleasesir

I think small people sell via gear best, as opposed from it coming from them directly. Like AliExpress. When it comes to children’s toys, I just prefer to play it safe

myusernamehasgone234

I bought one when it posted a while back and didn’t have any issues with it. Cheap plastic tat for kids is pretty much the same wether you buy direct from China or over here. You pay a premium for the branding and packaging over here in the U.K. I think it’s about using a bit of common sense inspect the toy and see if anything could potentially be dangerous before handing it over to a child. If itsok you’ve saved yourself some pennies.

Good price but be warned this show really isn’t for young kids. Mine are 3 and 5 and at plenty of times during the, ridiculously long 2.5 hours, they were bored. For whatever reason they have the cast sign songs with literally nothing to keep the kids attention, they are original songs so they can’t even sing along. Wasn’t just us either, lots of kids were running about or messing around. In its defence the show does some funny moments, but too few and infrequent.. the kids really liked the gingerbread man but it’s hardly ever used.

Gambler

What an awful website. Won't let me look at the deal without signing up!

went to see him back when he was doing mock the week and on the back dvds and was shocked by the actual contents of the show, there was deadly silence through out most of the show except a group of teenagers laughing at the top of their voices. It was the worst show we have ever been to and to make it worse we were told at the beginning of the show we weren't allowed to leave except in the event of an emergency didnt stop many of us walking out.

DealJourno

Improving content for everyone maybe and caring about high standards? I refuse to use predictive text. I would rather make a mistake and learn from it. If someone has dyslexia or similar like not being a native English writer then spelling errors are understandable. There's nothing wrong with correcting something. It really depends on how you do it in my opinion.
