Travelzoo have confirmed that free tickets have gone. 25% off entry still available. I spoke with somebody from the ticket factory on thurs who acknowledged the IT issue but as of 1pm Friday it hasn't been resolved. Hopefully there will be a flash sale...
Are we just assuming this is expired now then or has anyone got this to work?
Or just park at a train station in the Midlands with free parking and get the train. Less chaotic.
If you go, pre-pay parking as its £12, otherwise its a shocking £16 on the day!!
The problem is that The Ticket Factory still allows you to select a free ticket via the code and add it to the basket. If they're all taken then they need a better IT crowd.

I didn't even know there was a TV show! Looking at the pics reminded me of the Gladiators finale in the '90s. I think that's when I last watched broadcast TV (lol)
Second this. Bought the Groupon for this a few years back and went to Wigan. We had socks already from JumpXtreme, which we showed on the desk on the way in when they asked, and said that they were fine. Tried to get on the slide, and they turned us away for not having “their” socks. Pathetic. An argument with the ‘manager’ was absolutely fruitless, so we left after less than 20 mins in there. Groupon were useless too, and refused to assist. Completely agree with the comment about it being unsafe and the staff flirting with each other, too; a little girl fell on “the wall” while we were there, quite clearly snapping her radius and ulna - the staff weren’t the least bit interested and left her mum to sort it, despite her cries for help. Not a chance I’d be going back.
Looks like great fun, if only I wasn't a flabby weakling with dodgy shoulders (y)
Anyone know of any deals for a Sunday?
Absolute shocking place (only been to Wigan venue). Staff are untrained and spend more time flirting with each other than bothering with customers, it's dirty and just plain awful. One of my kids got injured, I was the one who had to run down to him and then find a staff member (as none were anywhere in sight), he got an icepack and I was asked to sign their disclaimer that his injury was dealt with, took him to A&E and he had a fractured neck.... Unsafe and unsanitary
Brilliant place to visit. Need more than a few hours there. Be warned though, they ran out of parking spaces by the time we got there and had to direct traffic to public car parks.
Went today - had a great time, so many thanks to op! just an FYI for anyone else going soon re afternoon tea… it’s £20 per head and whilst pleasant, we didn’t think it was very good value for money. 1 (cold) scone with cream and jam each, couple of fingers sandwiches each and a couple of mini cakes each (not homemade) no top ups on the food, but as much tea as you like is available. You can pre book or take a chance on a walk up being available. Hope that might help plan your visit!
All i can help with is you DONT have to turn up at 9.30, apparently thats just a referred time.
Any news on this? I'm going tomorrow and don't want to be caught out.
Anyone got tickets for Monday 20th they no longer need?
Every bloody time - I seriously don’t know why I bother buying tickets to this show; this is the second or third time now where I have bought tickets only to have them send out free ones days/weeks later (mad)
Apologies, I did it within an hour of the deal being posted, it was only when I saw the confirmation email that I remembered to thank the poster.
How did you do that? I'm literally trying just now
(sorry for resurrecting this) We struggled to get around the place in 3-4 hours. There is a lot of history etc. to read on the walls, so if you're not into taking that kind of content in (for example Silverstone's RAF base history), and limit yourself to looking at the static exhibits, then maybe you could get round in 45 minutes, but I'd question whether you were actually into the subject in the first place! You spend 5 minutes in the video walled entry room for a start, and 10 or so in the IMax type experience on the way out!
Sadly you can’t return for free with a buyagift voucher visit, only a direct ticket visit. We went last year on a buyagift voucher and it’s not applicable, recall it being something to do with gift aid and as these aren’t a direct purchase it can’t be claimed.
How do you return for free? I went 3 months ago actually, lucky day got to see Red Bull testing the track, Coulthard for about 10 mins, they also test other Sports cars too if you are fortunate to be there on that day
went there. was about 45 minutes a-z, unless you press every single button in the downstairs area. seemed nice enough, but very much catered towards kids.
Eden is a massive rip-off. Best avoided unless you enjoy paying through the nose to park a long way from the 'attraction', being preached at all day and food is mega expensive too. It's a shame as the idea is good but the reality is awful.
Southampton West is pretty much next door. I've booked a night in September for £31 but that's after school hols. There's a bunch of others nearby, including the airport mentioned above for a similar price. Southampton West gets fairly poor reviews compared to other Premier Inns in general but for 1 night I figured I'd take my chances :S
Try Southampton Airport - the airports are less busy at the moment due to COVID. Also that PI has air con - the ones close to PPW don't and you'll be sweating like a pig. XD Try Sunday nights if you can.

Definitely recommended, did it with a group of 6 of us in London a while ago and was great. much more memorable and fun than some random escape room.
Do you have to go as a group of 8 or can you go twice as a group of 4?
Did this for a bunch of us turning 30 and it was amazing. Well worth it.
Well for the one in the picture we just had 6 people and paid about a fiver extra each. I think we got 3 games each but they do last a fair while (well they seem to at the time)and part of the fun is encouraging other team members on. And for those wondering, the second time round there were only 2 games I'd seen at the first one
Saw this and at first I thought it said half price Crystal meth (lol) (lol) (lol) (lol)
I just managed to get into berrington hall in leominster. The lady at the entry hadn't seen the promo before but she just scanned the barcode and it worked so we got in as two adults, no kids The terms and conditions doesn't specifically exclude BH Monday as it says ok Monday to Friday and not weekend so I guess u could argue, but the lady was lovely and just waved us in no drama. Have a lovely BH
Is the pass valid on bank holidays?
Thanks. Yes, just booked online and put 3 adult members then turned up with the printed voucher and they said was fine as didn't know what to do with it, and didn't take note of the voucher code. Bargain! And went on a weekend!
Has anyone used this more than once? Have others used just the barcode without email? Thanks
That's good to know, thanks

Just back and I thought I'd share pictures from 2 separate days - must be the first time I have witnessed fog @ Magheracross! So cruel! Normally you can see Scotland!
To be fair Magheracross was until this year really just a layby - a small car park with a few picnic benches. You'd normally just drive past it within a second thought. They have landscaped it and added a few features this year making it a worth while pitstop on the way to Portrush!
Lived here all my life and that's the first I've heard of Magheracross! I'll have to put that on my bucket list. I've also never been to Dunluce. I notice there's a Dunluce app you can download that gives you a guided tour. I'm sure there's other apps for other attractions.
Carrickfergus Castle? Do you mean Dunluce Castle? Both were open during July. Worth noting that the nearby Magheracross Viewing Point and picnic area is getting a "facelift". It's still free (height restriction on the gate mean cars only, no campers/caravans looks like they have removed that barrier now!), however they are building a cliff balcony viewing deck and are upgrading the landscaping! Just found this video - looks like they have completed construction! I'll probably be visiting White Rocks next weekend and we will be driving past this!
Great to see the passion for these places - I guess I was a little hasty in challenging the value for money. I did state though that you would be hard pressed to find alternatives at that price! Sadly the "visitor centre" seems to be an attempt to attract tourists and take their money as it's not very clear that access on foot is free! (I remember when the rope bridge was free as well!). I have visited many parts of the world (even walked round the pyramids) and I'll still argue that the island of Ireland is the best! (perhaps I am a little bias), but when you can picnic in most places without fear of anything eating you, biting you, getting totally lost with the potential of dying, extreme weather etc. then that's a bonus to me!
NEC was always the best. All manufacturers were there. EXCEL London was more dealer based still representing everyone but imo not to the same level as the NEC. I never missed one from being 11 or 12 years old. There from the minute it opened to being last out at the end
Too far for me but used to enjoy going when it was held at the Excel London years ago.
I remember the 1992 event. Mansell's Williams F1 car on display
Loved the motor show at the nec. Too far south for me
“Out of stock” now on the site. Heat for the deal tho. Hopefully more will be available soon (nerd)
Got spare family ticket for Sunday if any one is interested
Just got emailed tickets didn't show date on it does it mean I can go any day?
I got an email from the Motor Show with the tickets yesterday. Keep an eye on your emails :)
i got a Family ticket from here too. in fact what i got a was a voucher code with a security code which sounds like what you get via the JackFM site too. I'm guessing some ticket will appear soon as i dont think you can use the voucher code at the gate.

We asked for a refund in 2020, we're not made of money and the membership is expensive. They flat out refused. So they took the membership fee, you couldn't go there and they refused to refund. They said it was a membership, which you sign up to in order to go there ... was a "charitable donation" (annoyed)
There are rarely any Sparks offers that benefit these days. I did get some free chocolates last week but I’d rather have a regular 20% off home or clothing like I used to get. In fact I only ever buy when that’s on. I kind of understand that these are difficult times but better they sell at 80% than not at all as I rarely purchase from them now.
I had the same problem too , they didn’t extend my membership either and I couldn’t even attend one English heritage site due to lockdown .. :-(
Half price is better
We went to Stonehenge back in June. Well worth it at this price.
