This month Merlin Entertainments are offering all London residents with a London postcode a whopping 50% off tickets to top attractions including The London Eye, The London Dungeon, SEA LIFE London Aquarium and Shrek’s Adventure! London.

If you live in London it’s easy to find yourself in a regular pattern of commuting back and forth, and forgetting to get out and enjoy the city’s many world-famous attractions. This spring Merlin Entertainments have decided it's time change that…

From 24 April to 19 May anyone who lives in any of London’s 32 boroughs will be able to visit Merlin's top London attractions for half price!

Come down to South Bank and see the city from up high on the iconic lastminute.com London Eye. Learn about Britain’s darkest history with plenty of jump scares and thrilling rides along the way at The London Dungeon. Journey to Far Far Away at the magical Shrek’s Adventure! London and marvel at hundreds of underwater species including penguins, turtles and sharks at SEA LIFE London Aquarium. There’s so much to do, right on your doorstop.

WHEN IS THE OFFER VALID FROM?
The offer is valid from 24 April until 19 May 2024.

London Eye and Madame Tussauds London: Valid for ticket slots daily after 1pm.

Ticket availability and timeslots vary per attraction and due to capacity only a certain amount of tickets are available per day per time slot. Book early to avoid disappointment.

HOW DO I CLAIM MY 50% DISCOUNT?

The postcode must be for one of London’s 32 boroughs listed in the terms and conditions (postal districts: E, EC, N, NW, SE, SW, W, WC, BR, CM, CR, DA, EN, HA, IG, SL, TN, KT, RM, SM, TW, UB, and WD).

Tickets for children under 2 are free, although these also must be booked in advance.

    Stupid question.
Can you get someone who lives there to get the tickets then a person use it who’s not living there?

Yes, the discount applies at billing. Nobody at the entrance to these attractions is going to check that information, only that you have a valid ticket.

Discount brings adult / child prices down to:
    • £21.00 / £19.00 (2-15 yrs) London Eye
    • £20.00 / £18.00 (2-15 yrs) SEA LIFE London Aquarium
    • £17.50 / £14.50 (5-15 yrs) The London Dungeon
    • £??.?? / £??.?? (2-15 yrs) Shrek’s Adventure! London

Merlin Entertainments operate in the arena of artifically doubled prices. Then they announce various offers to half the price, e.g.
    - show coupon from Kellogs cereals, 2 for 1
    - show a train ticket, claim 2 for 1, nationalrail.co.uk/day…ns/
    - and now this 50% off for London billing postcode

Marketing-driven companies like Merlin exist in the world of b*s, to mislead consumers. It's analogous to DFS with their near-permanently "half price" sofas, i.e. half of an artifically doubled price.

100%. It's also extremely unfair on tourists who won't know how to take advantage.
    Very sharp practice.

The London Eye is a rip off. Save your money and go to Horizon 22 or the Sky Garden instead.
