About this deal

38% off Adult RRP £16.25. A relatively steep discount for this attraction that undercuts all concessions, inc. those for groups. Great as part of a Pompey day trip, with panoramic views of the city, the harbour, and the sea. You can revisit as many times as you like on the day of visit, plus your ticket comes with a View Guarantee. Scroll for more info.

Use code SKYSAVE to bring the price down from £16.25 to £10 for adults or from £12.85 to £8 for kids (4-15 yrs).

At time of submission, the code works for ALL dates on their booking tool (I could reach checkout for visit date 28th Sep), but the code is a limited offer so may expire sooner or may become restricted for visit dates no later than Fri 24th May.

GENERAL ADMISSION (spinnakertower.co.uk/our…ns/ )

Our Standard ‘All Day’ Admission tickets are valid all day (subject to experience opening hours) so you can visit us as many times as you like on the day of your visit, and enjoy the ever-changing views at different times of day.

Standard ‘All Day’ Admission also include a view guarantee. Whilst our views are spectacular in all sorts of different weather, if visibility on the day is affected so that you can’t see the three Solent Forts from our view decks, then ask to speak to our Duty Manager about our view guarantee and you may be eligible for a free return visit.

The View

4334074_1.jpgOur viewing decks, with their floor to ceiling glass walls, offer views stretching up 23 miles on a clear day. On View Deck 1 you will find our i-VIEW touch screens which provide information on the many points of interest in the view – from historical sites to the modern day, from the South Downs to the Isle of Wight and much, much more. Our view deck host is also on hand to answer any specific questions you may have and to point out anything that may be happening on the day of your visit. The view is ever changing with warships and cruise ships heading in and out of port, events taking place across the city and harbour and even the time of day creating a different view. Your general admission ticket is valid all day on the day of your visit, so you can come and go as often as you please (within our opening times) and see something different each time. Even when the weather seems less favourable outside, the views from inside the Tower’s view decks remain as fascinating as ever. So much so that we offer a view guarantee – if you find that, due to the weather conditions, you can’t see all 3 Solent forts on the day of your visit, we will give you a complimentary ticket to return another day. You must speak to our duty manager on the day of your visit to ensure the view guarantee applies and receive your complimentary ticket. The return ticket must be used within three months of your first visit.

Sky Walk

4334074_1.jpgAre you brave enough to venture across our glass Sky Walk?! The Sky Walk is located in the middle of view deck 1, 100 metres above the harbour. It is made of 3 layers of glass totalling just 60 mm in depth but is strong enough to hold a total weight of 288 stone – the equivalent of 2 black rhinos! Looking down through the glass gives you a whole new perspective on the harbour below. Feel free to walk, jump or even dance across but do remember to take off your shoes, as we endeavour to keep the glass as clear as possible for the best viewing experience. If you’re feeling a nervous, don’t worry – there is still plenty of room to walk around the outside of the Sky Walk and enjoy the view without venturing across. We do recommend you have a try though!

Sky Garden

4334074_1.jpgOur highest viewing platform, the Sky Garden is open to the elements, so you can feel the breeze and breathe in the fresh sea air from high above the hustle and bustle down below.

Don't miss the opportunity to look down on the most characterless cut and paste shopping area on the South coast, or the beach that nothing except the hovercraft can make use of. Be facinated as you watch those ants beneath you tour the town for half a day just to find a parking spot that won't need a second mortgage.

Never been Portsmouth, normally head towards Bournemouth or if I have time drive to Devon or Cornwall. Is it that bad?

Am I being cynical by saying it looks like a cheap version of the Burj Al Arab,?

Great place to gaze out to sea and imagine you are anywhere but Portsmouth.

The best view of Portsmouth is in your car mirror

On a nice sunny day with clear visibility the views are amazing. Worth doing once but probably not again as you will struggle to do more than half an hour

The Gunwharf Keys shopping centre is great - lots of designer outlets with decent discounts.

Portsmouth is a great place to sit and look over the sea, the shopping outlet nice to spend some time having a browse. Parking is quite expensive but the car park is below the shopping complex and has won awards. Never been at night but plenty of places to get a bite to eat or drink. The historic dockyard is expensive but worth a visit. Travel, well roads to the car park can get busy and you wait popular times such as weekends however good P&R and the train also takes you to the shopping complex, sea, tower and historic dockyard and thanks OP never been up the Spinnaker this is quite a saving.
