It’s actually a gym/CrossFit shoe.

fiqqer

Its not really a running shoe - it is a general purpose off-trail shoe suitable for most activities. For running get a proper running shoe - for most other sports this is good. Size ways they seem to be accurate uk sizes.

Bing toilet train £8.99 - Home bargains/Quality save

LocalLocalUpdated 5th AugLast updated 5th Aug by bd1981bd
Found this in home bargains for £8.99 seemed a good price as Argos is selling it for £18.99
bd1981bd

In many ways I think teletubbies and night garden are at least allowing children to infer the meaning of the words even if it is still nonsense and I don’t let my kids watch it - Bing is just teaching the exact opposite of proper language use! - step down off my soapbox!

honeypotpie

I always find it a bit odd to read the mispronounced words in the Bing books, because I'm trying to teach the kids the correct way of saying and doing things. Guess there's some PhD out there who knows better than us parents! (nerd)

Hol90

They have these in the Leicester store for anyone interested.

bd1981bd

Is it just me or is Bing just deliberately attention seeking? Whatever that parental figure is that guides him through his young life is doing him no favours. Encourage proper pronunciation and not baby talk for a start! I have two under 5 before the haters start in on me!

Trevormal

I found some! Got one from riverside retail park Warrington. There was another one left.

Despite Grumpy, and an awful lot of cold votes, I am voting this hot; even at double what Grumpy says he got his for, this is still a bargain; when BRIO had the only version, this cost an awful lot more; I remember paying over £80 for a similar BRIO set up over 20 years ago, and no-name sets at my local C&C cost £14 for less than half the contents of this.

Gambler

Thanks. I may stick with ASICS gel then.

ThugBasher

@Gambler personally I wouldn’t run in these outside, treadmill and to use at the gym then yes. There isn’t a lot of grip on the soles so if you do decide to get them stay away from puddles and wet grass. If you are looking for a outdoor trainer then I would recommend a trial running shoe. I’m no expert but I’ve been there don’t that and learnt from my mistakes.

HUKD123

Is this deal active? Doesnt save me a thing on my daily commutes during peak time and I have a 16-25 rail card attched to my oyster.

drspa44

I wasn't using Trainline because they charge booking fees and I can only speak about my experience that happened in 2015. Since then, the fare has risen above the threshold, but below is a similar fare on the same line. Notice how it doesn't say anything about time restrictions. Only someone who has read the railcard's fine print would know that it shouldn't be used in the morning peak, despite it being called 'anytime'.

YouTalkinToMe

Whenever I book with the trainline, my ticket comes to £12 before 10. After 10 it is £11ish. And the original ticket price is the same!!!

drspa44

Well all of the online booking websites said £11 no restrictions and the hundreds of great northern ticket inspectors and gatekeepers did not say there was a problem.

YouTalkinToMe

The 12 pound rule is always enforced. If the fare should be lower they charge you 12!!

abuhaneefahali

Turns out that this was a scorching hot deal! Just got this email: We're processing your £362.75 cashback We're pleased to say the cashback from your purchase has been confirmed. Please find the details below. Retailer: Trainline Date: 11/07/2018 Cashback: £362.75 Credit card holders please note cashback will change your overall outstanding balance but may not affect your minimum payment, so please check your statement. Cashback normally takes 5 working days, but may vary. Please ensure your card details are up to date so that you will always receive cashback for offers you have redeemed. I did try and post this specific to season tickets but HDUK Admin sent me to this thread.

abuhaneefahali

I just cancelled it 2 hours before you wrote this comment :/ How does that work out though? You get more back for changing it than cancelling it?

Dealier

Is often better to change your season ticket to the cheapest one available (not sure what that is at the moment), as you'll get a bigger refund than you would if you just cancel it.
