Yes it will. When you eventually receive it. I've seen some offers on amazon there they have 3 x 3ft cables with 56k ohm resistors for £5.99

Will this work for Iphone 6s?

What a terrible website! They should optimise for mobile users.

They not all sold out you just have to chose a different colour

Wouldn't trust anything from this company, least of all such a crap cable for a £700 phone.

They do the lightening version of these too, ok not the fastest but great to connect over certain distance ie hotel plugs or like my kids need to reach desk etc (flirt) 69p can’t go wrong

I got one a few months ago from poundstrecher, I was surprised it worked on fastcharge.......stopped working a few weeks ago though the connector became loose :(

Would this work to power a camera? Need something this length for my Wyze over the front door.

Good moaning as arthur bostrum would say

I was just about to say that. hahaha I have always found flat USB cables used for charging and over 1 metre in length to be amp eaters. They will still work for charging but it takes forever and a day.

Not Thunderbolt certified. Voted hot. I am only buying Thunderbolt certified now as have lots of Thunderbolt assesories which fail on using non Thunderbolt usb c cables. ASDA sells £1 Polaroid branded usb c cables . Better spend more and not disappointed later on . Thunderbolt cables will be usb 4.0 compatible as well so future proof .

ugreen have quality porducts sorta like xiaomi

Has the resistor in it. Yes, not the cheapest, got my Tecknet with resistor for half the price, but voted hot, as this should be safe to use. Only 11 reviews, I have a feeling HUKD will take this deal off their site.

Fast charging cable with magnetic connecters. You'll need to use the code L35056E2B998D000 at checkout and select the free shipping option.

How strong is the magnet. Could you use it for ps4 controller comfortably?

That's the only way it'd be useful, if the connector was permanently inserted into said device. Otherwise you might as well just use a non magnetic (normal) cable. But you can weigh up the pros and cons. Is repeatedly inserting a usb cable more likely to break the port than having a permant magnetic protrusion? There's a suprisingly entertaining and informative video about magnetic cables (not these particular ones):

Try it and do lets us know the out comes please😁

I'm beginning to get the feeling manufacturers are adding 'fast charge' to every charger/cable these days - regardless whether they are or not!

I bought two of these cables ages ago, one for work one for home. My wife has lost/broken many chargers over the years and finally lost the last spare one we had last month so is now using my work one at home. Happy to report that its still going strong 3 weeks later. Hopefully it lasts 3 years haha! Will be buying two of these again as backups!

That definitely doesn't happen to these. Have one beside me wrapped with velcro and it doesn't stick to the cable at all.

Great company. Great cables. Wouldn't buy anything else.

That doesn't sound right, could be a fault. Contact Anker as they'll deff sort it out. Likely just replace it for you.

Contact Anker via their website. They will 100% send you a new one, I did the same a few weeks ago. Their customer service is excellent.

I do use Gearbest once in a while and so far none of their products failed on me. But I only buy cheap things and I think twice before ordering something that may cause a hazard.

Voting cold for this reason. Please, more people do the same and stop these dodgy Gearbest posts that are being tolerated by HotUKDeals.

It this usb c?

As far as I am aware, you can use a USB C cable without a resistor, with your 'old' charger. It will work, but not fast charge. If you use it with your 'new' charger, the cable should have a 56 k-ohms resistor, otherwise the charger will attempt fast charge and there is a risk to damage your device. I am not sure if the adaptor has/should have a resistor too. I've just tried a USB C cable without a resistor and with my 'new' charger, it slow charges my Samsung A5 2017 but I did not want to take the risk, so did not leave it to fully charge. Strangely enough, I've tried this with my wife's Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact and hers does not charge at all. Perhaps Sony has some sort of safety feature and does not allow any charge if using a fast charge cable without a resistor.

Fair enough if they're nationwide, but it's still going to cost more in fuel getting there + time wasted looking. Unless you're going passed one anyway

I bought a couple of these to keep in mine and my wife's car from my local poundstretcher in Leicestershire. Pretty sure all Poundtretcher stores stock them.

Could do with something much shorter to carry with a power bank, most seem to be 1m or over.

You find it in any Poundstrecher, not only in Sheffield. You may even find it in Poundland.

Unless you happen to live in Sheffield, it's probably easier to get it from China realistically.

TechNet are good as they have the 56 K ohms resistor, while here is not mentioned this. There are 2 TechNet deals on HUKD now. I also have a TechNet and it fast charges. I do not know about these or the other ones mentioned in this post.

I was going to buy until i read about the current, think they'd get quite hot with 40W going through them

momanium Gonna steer clear considering the fake reviews and the possible implications of poor quality type-c cables(e.g. frying your device due to the power they're capable of carrying).

Those do not have the greatest of reviews to be fair.

Hager and MK usb sockets use about 150mW, which works out at about 25p a year. Yes, technically wasteful, but compared with other things it's pretty insignificant
