Logitech Driving Force G29 Racing Wheel
The Logitech Driving ForceG29 Racing Wheel gives you the definitive racing sim experience for the PlayStation 3, 4 and PC.
With a powerful dual-motor force-feedback mechanism and helical gearing, the G29 provides smooth, accurate simulation of traction loss, weight shift and drifting to help you feel every turn in the road.
Respond with precision - the Driving Force Steering Wheel is engineered with solid steel ball bearings in the wheel shaft and stainless steel paddle shifter and pedals that gives you accurate control as you tear up the track.
Expertly modelled after automotive transmissions gears, the G29's helical gearing delivers smooth, quiet steering action. Anti-backlash keeps the wheel and pedals tight to maximise control and reduce unwanted noise and vibration for ultra responsive game play.
Race like never before with the G29's 900-degree lock-to-lock rotation, which lets you turn the wheel two and a half times.

it will not be comfy, especially when the force feedback kicks in.Either put it on your coffee table or buy a small possibly folding table to put it on
Just as an FYI for those interested.
Thanks op!
amazon.co.uk/Ult…and
I know the crew doesnt (edited)
Very easy to set up but does have 4 cables coming out of the wheel so can get a bit messy! (edited)
If you dont fancy the iron table you can also use a piano stand with a table
Went down to Currys today after reserving a wheel bundle online and they accepted the discount code in store very happy thanks
..... Serious question.
My setup is in the living room with a coffee table in between the sofa and tv.
This is a hot deal tho (edited)
Belt Vs geared?
I've read bad things about the t300 and dirt rally tho (edited)
In Windows you can adjust how strong the force feedback is from the default "popeye guns required" to fully off (handy for when kids are using it / unmounted use)
G29 is geared and some say a bit notchy compared to a belt driven wheel bit belt driven tend to get hotter, need fans and are noisier as a result.
Same setup for me, except I have G920 for Xbox. It works perfectly. Playseat Challenge is a little tight, and somewhat cumbersome to get in and out of if you are a decently sized man, but it works! Would I rather have a more "regular" racing rig? - Of course, but would I have it standing around taking up space in my appartment never. The wheel is great, but please do get a chair like the Playseat Challenge or a stand to get any enjoyment out of this.
Happy days
Without the gearstick.
