The Mario Party series is coming to the Nintendo Switch system with super-charged fun for everyone!
The original board game style has been kicked up a notch with deeper strategic elements, like specific Dice Blocks for each character. The game also introduces all-new ways to play, including Joy-Con controller enabled minigames, and new modes to enjoy with family and friends.
Board game play goes back to the four-player basics as you take turns and race across the board searching for Stars. You can also pair up two Nintendo Switch systems and delight in this dynamic play style, such as in the new Toad's Rec Room mode.
With new modes and new minigames coupled with original board game play, the party starts anywhere, anytime, and with all kinds of players.

sorted byYes, but only mini games no board play.
Nintendo are still stuck in the past with stuff like this, this sort of thing should have mandatory online multiplayer for the whole game, not just select bits.
Wouldve bought a switch just for this if it had proper online!
Have you checked for any TCB on friend purchases?
I think they’ve made the decision because no random 4 players would stay on their switch to play what is more often than not a 3hr+ board game - even if youre playing with friends from different parts. It’s the kind of game you play together in a room. It’s time efficiency for developing the game in my opinion.
A 20 turn match would only take around 50 mins to an hour usually. They could have just allowed friend invite only lobbies and people would have been happy enough.
However when ordering, it seemed to take my money like normal? Thought it was payment on dispatch?
