£95 off and free delivery at Dell Outlet

I rang DELL Outlet and they confirmed that the £95 and free delivery is on all systems. They are having a problem with their online system and they assured me that when the credit card payment is taken the delivery charge will have been removed and my final order confirmation email should verify that.

So... just ordered an Inspiron Desktop for a neighbour for £167.71 + VAT (£197) fingers crossed

Can you get Quidco from the Outlet store?

It seems as if the £95 deduction is available for any system but the free delivery is limited to certain systems. i.e. not with any Vostro systems.

I played around with a few systems and it seems as if they all have £95 off but only a limited range have the free postage – Inspirons, Precisions and they are either out of stock or expensive. There is a list of which models are part of the Deal at this link.

When you add a system to the basket look at the options list and one of them is a Voucher saving £98.58. Select that and click the Update Selected Items button which is towards the bottom of the page. The only way to determine whether you get free postage is to go through the checkout process until you get to the page where you enter your payment details. Not the friendliest of designs.

Thanks Agharta - the £95 off wasn't obvious. However, the Dell headline page clearly says that the free delivery applies to all outlet systems.... I know your link suggest otherwise but DELL do have 'ANY' in capitals. Maybe I'll ring them up and ask.

Thanks for making the effort to sort out the confusion. It seems to be fixed now as I just bought a Vostro 1500 and delivery was free; when I looked last night this wasn’t the case.
I just paid £447 for a good spec and the only negative is that it has Vista Business rather than XP Pro. I’m going to ring Dell and see if I can ‘downgrade’ to XP as this is being allowed in certain situations.

I’m not sure if Quidco works with the Outlet store! I hope so as it will reduce the price to £428 which is outstanding when you consider it has the top spec screen and graphics card.

I rang them as the discount wasnt being taken of my cart, They said they would take it off after the order has been processed and your confirmation email will reflect this
