I sent the Manchester one to a friend earlier, as you can book online for those times currently

Anyone that pays nearly 19 GBP for a burger in a bap should be sectioned immediately.

Gordon Ramsey was selling his for £100 and that was about 5+ years ago.

People complaining about the prices are quite deluded. This is central london, high tier American food. The place is a hotel with museum style memorabilia all over the place. It's not a mcdonalds or your local independent... (edited)

Just let them stick with their 20 pence frozen Tesco burgers made from grinded Romanian horse meat. That will keep them happy.

Cool. This is great for anyone close to the area. If they don't limit it to one per person people will be filling their fridges and freezers though.

Manchester one at printworks always seems to be dead. Maybe its a way of reviving the brand?

At £19 regular price for this I'm not surprised.

nothing currently on event page, maybe worth messaging them to see if they are running the offer too, as seems to be across various locations for their 52nd birthday

You can go large. They do a double cheeseburger at 1896 calories, £23.45 mind you, not 71p.

Not as good as the old offer where they used to do the 1971 menu at 1971 prices Being my birthday I could buy the food for 10 for £20. Drinks were usual price. They did this until quite recently

"Country" I think refers to the length the queue to get in will span. North/south too.

Table for one was very quick and easy to get. I’d forgotten this was today so I’m glad they seated me quickly, they were turning tables of two or more away as there was a wait list. Thanks!

Ended up getting the meal for free because the till wasn't doing the deal correctly

I got given a second burger free because I was just friendly and bemoaned the two rude customers next to me with my server.

They ordered three burgers (taking the third away) and lied about the son of one of them coming to join them, then asked to have the service charged removed after he really did them a big favour. Some people just want to ruin it for everyone.

    Anyway, happy days all around!

I wish I could find a burger place that serves real cow meat. I am convinced I have been eating only horse, donkey, rodents' meat all these years

"Enjoy the Country Burger - one of our first-ever burgers - for just 71p for for the first 71 minutes after we open"

Does this mean they will only be serving this 71p burger for 1 hour and 11 minutes after they open in London at 11.30 am or do they mean they give you that time to eat it? It sounds like the former..?
    _Achilles_'s avatar
It means for anyone walking in between those times can purchase it. Whether the tables are available or you've booked one is irrelevant. I'm sure you can sit there and eat, but why would you sit more than 20 min to eat a burger?
  29. blahblahblah1234's avatar
    Great price!
Don't forget the automatic 15% service charge added to the bill, should be about 10p
