These are big boys though so make sure it fits!
Is it likely that the next-gen cards will be as, or more, powerful than this, but thinner, so they only need 2 slots?

I suspect that there won't be many reductions after this. Maybe 1 or 2. Previous generations have bottomed out around £550-600. (edited)
Worked perfect all the way through until I sold it.
I've got a big case so didn't bother worrying about if it will fit... Wow it is big and I had to move some HDD about to squeeze it in just.
It's all good, no problems with it but I'm still struggling with paying £600 for a GPU when I used to pay about £200 for them! But now that I've replaced the RX 6600 I can finally play all the games I want at the right settings!
