I saw these in Wrexham last week (and again yesterday), but they were £19.99 Not massively favourably reviewed, but for £12.50 it should be pretty decent if you can find them. Heat added.

I have no idea about speakers. How good would this be compared to the speaker on an Amazon Echo dot?

I got one yesterday, and think it's pretty good for the price. RRP is £59.99, and there are vendors selling it at prices nearer that than £12.50. It compares favourably with my Tesco Technika SPB112 "Barcelona" which I got for £9 a few years ago. This Akai is able to play from micro SD directly and also has an FM auto-scan radio built-in.

There is a mistake in the manual, though: to start the channel scan and store in FM radio mode, *double click* the play/pause "mode" button - not long press like the manual says (which just switches the mode back to Bluetooth mode!)

Morrisons in Troon have these in the clearance section for £9.55.

I got one and was amazed how good the sound was for the size.

There was about 10 on the shelf.

Got one in Chester, they have a couple left. Marked at £20 but £12.50 at the till.

Ok for £12.50 but would not be happy to have paid much more. There's very little bass coming out of it, regardless of all the blurb on the box. Anyone that thinks these sound good is kidding themselves.
