The only negative about this smartwatch is the lack of apps.
And the fact that it's from the dishonest, tax avoiders amazon.
Wouldn't it be Korma if all who bought from them had to pay their share of the tax stolen from us? :p

Diall bulbs are ok, they are slightly older tech so tend to use more watts per lumens than Philips, Ikea bulbs.

5 x 10w for £9.99 is very cheap, they are 3000k for warm white rather than the standard 2700-2800k, 180 degree light spread, claimed life span 25k hours. Claimed lumens in 810 but if they weren't bright enough it seems unlikely they are. At that price point they will be cheap LEDs in the bulb, little to non existant heat sinks, its a low end product. No mention of CRI rating so expect it to be low, 80%+ for leading brands meaning colours look normal etc..
Why Edison screw? I have yet to be in a house that has Edison screw fixtures as standard....
Heat added...
I put 10W LED (approximate 60W light) as a single bulb in each main room, there's not enough light from them. I had to change them to 15W LED bulbs to get the right amount of light. Also cool white is horrible, like being in a science lab or morgue, so I had to change to warm white and I had to get ones with a diffuser otherwise the light was in patches which was weird too.
Which 15w bulbs did you get?

Diall LED 15W B22 1521 Lumens from B&Q cost £10. I bought 5x10W from Toolstation for £9.99 so it seems a rip off, but it'll do the job.

2800k is warm white, 4000k will be like a lab and only suitable maybe for a kitchen or garage!
Where they Philips or another brand ? I've got Philips and Ikea LED bulbs, read the lumens not watts to get equivalent bulbs. I've not had problem with either of those brands but unbrand from ebay / Amazon are cheap....for a reason.

Failure rate bla bla bla... they ALL do fail, just have reasonable back up storage and enjoy the deal you got!
hmm...ran the crucial system scanner, looks like I do have SATA3 6GB/s
this or the samsung evo for a 4 years old dell laptop?
Is it worth it to spend 27£ more on samsung?

Definitely not. The difference in day-to-day usage comes from the very low latency / lack of seek time on an SSD - this is several orders of magnitude better than a mechanical disk.

As a comparision if you take the incremental difference between a mechanical disk and SSD, this difference between the best and worst SSDs will be about +/- 2% either way....
this or the samsung evo for a 4 years old dell laptop?
Is it worth it to spend 27£ more on samsung?
Definitely do NOT pay more than this. You almost certainly won't have SATA III (6Gb/s) on your laptop, most likely SATA II (3Gb/s). You'll be wasting your money and even if you did have SATA 6Gb I feel you'd be wasting your money.
Thank you very much. I red that you won't notice a significant improvement in speed when it comes to movies, photos, media data in general. And since I will be using my old hdd in a caddy inside my dvd ram and/or an external hdd, should I choose 240 gb vs 480? Laptop used for browsing 85% of the time, streaming.

240GB or 480GB is totally a personal choice thing. Space is space. If you want twice as much fast storage this is worth it otherwise look for a 240GB deal if you're only after quality of life improvements.

Basically, SSD makes small file access VERY quick which sharpens up windows response time considerably (as it's constantly read/writing small files all-the-damn-time). The extra space will only be of benefit if you have tonnes of big apps or are gaming, for a general "browsing/social media/content consumption" type user, the bigger SSD probably doesn't have so much point.

Red Dwarf was free on the BBC, what on Earth is this comparison?
In ten years time GoT will be forgotten but Red Dwarf will still be watched by fans old and new

I disagree, I don't think GOT will be forgotten about and will still be watched for years. But anyway, has no bearing on this deal.
In ten years time GoT will be forgotten but Red Dwarf will still be watched by fans old and new
Lets stop comparing Red Dwarf and GOT, its a pointless debate, different type of shows, different genres, one has a cult following and the other is more mainstream, one is years old and the other is still broadcasting, also as far as I am aware Red Dwarf is not available on Blu Ray - apples and oranges being compared.

PhilK - you are happy to wait until it's cheaper, great, nothing wrong with that. But this is a great price for a current show compared to previous prices, and compared to other big shows recently released on Blu Ray. £11 a season is a great price.
I'm in no rush to watch it personally. If it came down to half this I may be interested
I very much doubt such a highly regarded TV show like this will hit around the £27 mark for 5 seasons any time soon. £11 a season is a bargain in my opinion.
They said that about Red Dwarf, but it did
It obviously will eventually drop to half this price, but that is years away. And you can't really compare Red Dwarf with Game of Thrones (and I say that as a fan of Red Dwarf).
How do you compare any TV show ? By it's fan base and popularity.
NOT because of the genre its in
Wait, so Red Dwarf has a comparable fan base and popularity to GoT? Did the last series of GoT limp out on Dave?
Wait....so did I say that ?
It's the following and dedication to BUY DVDs etc
So you're one of those who'll claim "The price will never comedown !!!"
Do the same for PC components,do you ? Plenty on here do the same

Anyone use an SSD in a PS4? Been wanting to get one for a while and might bite at this price...

The PS4 simply isn't designed to get the most out of SSDs, improvements are negligible and vary from game to game
A Hybrid hard drive performs better than a standard in a PS4 and very closely to an SSD but is a lot cheaper

The still relatively high cost of SSDs (over standard HDDs) negates the very small, if any improvement you'll see if you put one in a PS4

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2016-is-it-worth-upgrading-your-ps4-with-an-ssd

It's game dependent, for example it would have zero effect in Uncharted 4, as that game is seemless and uses cut scenes as the next level loads, very clever. In Doom though it should help a lot, I find Doom almost unplayable on the PS4 due to the large loading times, compared to the PC version the load times are really painful. You die a lot in Doom and having to load from checkpoint each time is hugely frustrating. I bought a PS4 a few weeks ago to play Uncharted 4 and I got Doom for £10 which I gave up playing due to the frustratingly long loading times.

Also 500GB is too small for a PS4, each game can take 50GB or so space.

Trying to decide whether to replace a 1tb SSHD with this drive and whether it's worth the money vs performance difference.

I'm not sure SSHDs are that great having used one for a while now. Mine is a 9mm drive so if you replace it with a 7mm drive do you need a fitting kit to secure it properly?
nublets2k
Now I do realise hard drives including SSDs do occasionally give up the ghost and concidentally my 240 GB version of this particular drive did just that today, without warning, after just about 18 months. Sandisk give a three year warranty on my version of the drive so I will have to see what, if anything, they will do to replace my now failed drive. Fortunately I did make regular backups so data loss shoud not be a problem, but it may be worth considering exactly how reliable these drives are.
The failure rate for these drives is less than 1%. You're just unlucky.
1% over what time? 1% a year would be pretty bad if 1 in every 100 people who buys one suffered a failure. 1% over 5 years, more acceptable?

"Less than 1%".

I agree I think they just changed colour scheme, they ones i received from bamford trading were perfect may I ad, no imperfections at all. Someone has edited the price !

It's not a prime deal ... I've ordered it and I'm not a prime member ...

You got it delivered for £9.99 and you're not a prime member?
My mistake guess the extra £2 added is because of the delivery of staying under the £20 free delivery limits but still a great price at £12

I'd go with the Sandisk after a recent exprience with a faulty sd card. Excellent customer service and they replaced a 32gb card with a 64gb.
Get the Integral.

fwiw, Integral warranty claims are dealt with from London offices from past experience with a USB flash drive.
Heat given but I use Integral as well.
Hmm I'd go for the integral or wait for the Sandisk to hit the £30 mark as it so often does.... I bet this Kingdian uses some older, poorer performing memory and controller.... sometimes you can penny pinch too far and with a hard drive (or rather an SSD) I think this is money well spent.
i saw this yday as people on dell vostro forum talking about ssd. but wasn't sure about the brand. hot though
