14 left now.
Anyone got one that can comment on it? Tempted to buy one now.
Wouldn't bother with the GPS to be honest. Mobius Action Camera is the way to go, excellent footage at night and the size of a matchbox. About the same price.
Yes I have just ordered one from banggood for my car - BMW forum peeps love them, but purchased this for my daughters car.
She is a new driver and as part of the "I will be a nice dad and buy you a car" contract I insisted on fitting a dash-cam with GPS for a bit of security and for my own investigation if I suspect any driving silliness.
Will keep her honest for a while if she suspects I might review her driving style at any moment and steal her keys away :D
For £49 (the mobius is around the same price as you say) you get a screen, GPS and no interference with DAB radio, which the Mobius is notorious for.
I guess the Mobius is much smaller, the screens on dash cameras are pretty useless as they are such low quality the first thing you do is upload to PC, The Mobius is just so small (no screen) and are so easy to tuck away that Simon Smackhead wont be able to spot it when your car is parked up. You see these morons with wires hanging down and plugged into something bigger than a 1980's VHS recorder. The whole idea of a dash cam is to offer protection in the event of a claim and be non-intrusive in the process.
Good Dads always buy their kids a dash cam. She knows that Daddy can view her driving at any point and any sillyness leads to no car. I LOVE IT! Dash cams should be built in to modern cars along with black box recorders. Insurance claims and fraud would nose dive. I wouldn't have GPS personally as you doing 33mph in a 30 zone and having an accident will see the other drivers legal team have a field day!
GPS data wouldn't be relied upon in a court, lack of calibration.

EH? and just who told you that golden nugget of information? GPS is about as calibrated to the atomic clock as you're going to get. Anything that shows you were over the speed limit will have a significant impact on your compensation claim in the event of injury, laying of blame and so on etc. If I was giving it to a young driver then YES damn right I would have GPS to make sure they knew it was there and ready for viewing. Personally no thanks EVER!

This looks like a polished up version of the cheap generic Chinese cams you can get for £14 (obviously without GPS) The Mobius would be the camera to get as its so unobtrusive and you're able to swap lenses and even get remote image sensor/lens modules. Replacing the LiPo battery with a super capacitor you'll get years use out of it.

I did not buy the other day at £79 used, really useless
that doesn't compromise on performance
it has an n2840
That's enormously more powerful than 486 processor when I was using Windows 3.1. Perfectly adequate to surf HOTUKDEALS and buy stuff and to prepare the Queen's speech and publish government white papers. Now you list the things listed here following that this N2840 wouldn't do, surfing, MP3 music, watch downloaded 720p videos, mail, Microsoft Office documents, skype, viber, social networking, BBCiplayer, music streaming web sites.
I bought the 100-151BD (i3/4GB/500GB) from Tesco Direct for £199 new using C&C. Once I had it working I found the sound to be absolutely dreadful - quite the worst I've ever heard from any laptop and probably from any device. you need it at full volume to hear anything, it lacks any bass any probably any middle so it's just harsh treble and distorted. It went back in the box within 15 minutes of getting it working and took it back next day. Have to say the returns process worked a treat and credit back onto my card there and then.
I've never had a Lenovo and this has somewhat put me off the brand ( the one-off button is tiny and poorly positioned so a nightmare to use but I could have lived with that). In the end I bought an Acer for £66 more at Staples better spec and it is head and shoulders above the Lenovo. I'm still somewhat shocked that Lenovo could think such audio would be acceptable to the market even as entry level !

Shake for like 20 mins then freeze again and you end up with 1 scoop of crystallized ice scream

There's no requirement to take that much unless you have been advised to by a doctor as a result of a blood test. I take 2000iu because I work in doors most of the time. If you have been taking that amount for months then I would advise to get a blood test done. You might be able to lower the dose.
Can I please ask if these tablets are coated and easy to swallow....(stop there boys.... before you start with your wise cracks).... because I have osteoporosis in my spine and I am supposed to take adcal D3 every day, but due to taking the dissolvable tablets that now turn my stomach, the chewable tablets (taste like chalk) made me gag, and the tablet that you can swallow (not coated) is the size of a mini bomb and take me about 4 attempts every time to get it down, so as you can imagine ...I don't take any now and.... pray for the sun to come.
I have paid prescription prices for all of the above every time but don't really have the money to waste, and I have also tried to look on osteoporosis sites to see what else I can take but some of the SAGA stories freak me, so I now find it's easier to ignore it than to address it.
Any help will be much appreciated.
if you're going to randomly buy vit D3 tablets you wouldn't start at 5000!!!

I'm deficient and was told to only get 1000 and could take two a day in the winter months. No way would I buy this without checking with my doc on if it was necessary!

I really wouldn't advise this as a 'multivitamin' that you just pop a day like the rest.
LMAO at all those who think 800iu is remotely enough. The NHS guide is ancient, very out-dated. I have been taking ~10,000 IU for months and not had any kidney stones.

I trust the NHS guide much more than some random person on the internet.
Just as I ran out of my vitamin d3 I saw this and immefietely made a purchase. It seems they brought it back to 11 tho. Thanks man!

I love the pizza dough from this but I just can't get away with the bread. I actually prefer the granary shop bought bread. Has anyone tried removing the dough and baking it in the oven, and if so does it make a difference to taste?
These are fantastic. Buy one before you regret it. They make fantastic bread. I use mine each and every day. I does literally take 2 minutes to prepare a loaf and then its ready in the morning.

There is a bit of a joke about bread makers that it is something that gets used like a week and once the novelty wears off it sits in the cupboard. But the key is to keep it out on the work surface and make a loaf every day or every other day.
They have them in my local Tesco (Port Glasgow) rather cheap. I can't remember the price, but I paid £100 maybe a year and a half ago. Good deal!

Had a cheap Leatherman which I abused daily for over 5 years until I lost it. Can't comment about Gerber quality but would buy another leatherman if they weren't so expensive.
I have one of these. great value
i bought one of these last march for £18.85 new, i think its great and still works a treat.
These are garbage, mine lasted about 6 months before the blade snapped, I had the Bear Grylls one but it's pretty much the same tool, the rubber grips came off after the first month. Finally one of the pliers snapped. If I'd known I would have just bought a Leatherman

Yep the steel is junk, the only place i think they would work well is fishing as its not very strenuous but i wouldnt trust these where i would trust a leatherman.

You really get what you pay for with tools and there is a reason these go on sale so often and leatherman keep their value.

I purchased this tv from JL about 3 months back for £199. Great tv, brilliant picture and sound is more than acceptable.

However, beware that the remote does not light up so in a poorly lit room ie. bedroom, you may struggle to use the remote until you familiarise yourself with the buttons layout (only a minor niggle) -
also the unit's channels/tuning is reset if you turn it off at the wall plug, unless someone knows of a way around this?

There is something wrong with yours as mine is often unplugged and all settings are still remembered!

Ok thanks for the heads up. I'll get in touch with them.
This never was in stock at this price and now has been removed from Amazon's catalogue.
To anyone considering this deal , it's available at richer sounds with a 6 year warranty for £189. I believe the Amazon deal comes with a 1 year warranty.
Why pay more for something that your legally covered for .http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/personalfinance/money-saving-tips/11296784/Shops-accused-of-denying-six-year-warranty-right.html
Yes but can't a TV dying, say after 3 years, be deemed to be "wear and tear" excluding it from that six year right. Given it would be impossible to prove or disprove how much use and under what circumstances the TV had been used?
A tv should be exempt from wear and tear and circumstance issues as its not like a car that is subject to other conditions and normal wear and tear items ex tyres/brakes etc....

Had a carpet cleaner that failed after 30 months and a set of headphones after 20 months,no problems refunding/replacing after mentioning their legal obligations.

Handy to have the warranty in writing for free if the retailer sticks his heels in and you have to take them to court.

I have one (and a cheapo Sainsbury's copy) and I've burnt on food, you just have to wait for it to cool down then soak for a few hours and the burnts food comes off ok. The ceramic coating does stain inside, or rather gets seasoned.... These are heavy to hold and I do worry about dropping it onto my ceramic glass oven top!

Ladder.... Take the lift
Bud please post this, just bought it and i'll definitely give you heat, it has 4.2% top cashback this weekend too. Right i need to stop buying deals this morning spent nearly £200 on a random assortment...this ladder a hockey stick and some trainners lol.
If you're going up ladders for work then they just need to be safe enough and used in a safe way. It makes sense to use those rules even if it's just you using it.
someone mentioned to me in the past but not sure:
are there any safety regulations laws about usage restrictions of ladders which are to tall and if yes what are the restrictions and max working height?? if yes does it apply to traders only or also to a private individual??
Thank you

There are apps to work out height but 5.2m is a bit on the small side.
I own these Titan brand ladders. They are 6m extended and just about reach the gutters.
Bear in mind that triples are heavier and will be harder to use. Unless you have a specific use for these I'd avoid even though I've gave some heat for a good price.
While ladders can be deadly I'm fine with domestic (class 3). They are built for purpose and will be OK for the occasional job.
There are apps? Sorry isn't it just basic math, pythagoras theorem?
So these are wobbly ladders, not a good idea for me anyway!
I was not talking about how safe I want to be, obviously we must use the common sense, what I wanted to know it is what the law does say about height restrictions if in reality they are in place as suggested by someone to me in the past. Anyone?
It is basic maths but who carries a protractor around.

I use ladders all the time (window cleaner), I've used some dodgy gear in my time - don't buy those Abru ladders from B&Q for instance but these seem well made. Just because they are class 3 doesn't mean they aren't fit for purpose.

I owned a set of 3.5m class 2 triples and they were cumbersome and awkward to use. I'd avoid them and buy a double extension which will be cheaper and easier.

As I said, I've given some heat to this thread for the price but don't be fooled by triple is better.

Been looking at these for a little while and this is the cheapest I have seen it. "The SM951 boasts outstanding performance, supporting both PCIe 3.0 and PCIe 2.0 interfaces. For use in the latest ul…

I've put link to Aria where NVMe counterpart is few pennies cheaper, but Admin didn't approve my post. Probably because it's last one item being sold :)

Quadpatch: "it would be" ? It depends. Look at your scores: 4K is the weakest. Wouldn't you like it higher ? The issue is all those SSDs have such poor 4K performance (however some models are better for 4K, some are worse). But hey, look at XP951 NVMe - and newest CrystalDiskMark which supports NVMe - hey presto ;-) But then.. ZONK.. there's another issue: poor performance in ALL write cycles :) This will prove all SSD technology is still underdeveloped.
can I use this in a macbook pro retina 2014?

Here are the Benchmarks I get on my Z170 board, btw this is using a PCI-e adapter. My board doesn't have an M.2 slot, despite supporting NVMehttps://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-oGuqa-ONylE/V0sagmtYtSI/AAAAAAAAEzw/mmK78NiusYsVeUDE-WFzGWo3oreaj38QwCCo/s399/Samsung%2BSM951%2B-%2B512GB%2B%2528OS%2BDrive%2529.JPG
And here is what I get on my 850 Evo (also as a boot drive).https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-CVDQiRORqW0/V0saggT1hjI/AAAAAAAAEz0/N1nDA7riArkB9Ne0CwYpMXA8TQ98zSjBwCCo/s401/Samsung%2B850%2BEvo%2B-%2B1TB%2B%2528RAPID%2Boff%2529.jpg
You'd expect to notice something from this right? :/

Your 4K performance is the problem and therefore a problem with how you're interfacing your card with your system.

any idea what the 4k performance should be?

I moved TW Warhammer from my HDD to SSD and the time difference is black and white, I think with this you may not see the benefits as it can only take so much time to load something, if its basically instant on SSD how more instant can it get?

£180 to not notice anything bar benchmark stats doesnt really seem worth it... get a bigger SSD imo.
