I know this has been mentioned a few weeks ago, but by the time I tried it Play was out of stock. It's now back in stock and I can't find a cheaper price for a 32GB class 10 card. Grab one while you can!

It's slow, I bought two and the speeds were way below class 10, more like 4.
I'd pay a little extra for a decent brand.

Surprised this deal didn't get hotter tho

Play.com have an interesting way of stopping people buying these reduced memory cards to sell on ebay for profit. they take so long to deliver them that by the time you have them, they aren't worth what you paid for them. I have to wait 10 days every time

    Minimum Read Rate: 11.2MB/s
    Maximum Read Rate: 11.4MB/s
    Average Read Rate: 11.3MB/s

    Minimum Write Rate: 1.9MB/s
    Maximum Write Rate: 8.6MB/s
    Average Write Rate: 3.4MB/s

poor, according description writing should be >=10MB.

better choose MyMemory 32GB Class 10 with:

    Write Speed: 19MB/s
    Read Speed: 23MB/s

    £3 more expensive.

"MyMemory" sell FAKE SD cards, which are a tiny fraction of the stated size, and will waste hours on end of your time until you find out what the problem is, also better hope you didn't save anything on them that you didn't have elsewhere.

I got burnt by them once, NEVER AGAIN. AVOID AVOID AVOID. FAKE FAKE FAKER THAN FAKE. The card they sent wasn't even the brand they sold to me.

And yes I have documentation to back this up.

Are these Play ones any good? Not too worried about speed as it's only going into a car stereo.

Was waiting for the Sandisk 32gb class4 to drop in price again, but tempted by this...oO

They'll be absolutely fine for the car stereo. They're okay, seem pretty reliable to me, just not the fastest cards in the world

No problem , glad you got your card sorted... I never understand why some things get hot and others don't, I've stopped going off the 'Hot Items' chart, I just search from newly listed, it's surprising what you find that stays cold.

So in general which 16gb SDHC card you guys recommend with high write speed and good price?
  13. dwattsy21's avatar
...voted hot though for the good price. Just don't get it if you need it soon as even when they say it's despatched it take over a week to come.

I have one of the 16GB Play branded cards, as one of the previous comments, mine is slow and repeatedly struggles to record video on my Lumix TZ7.

No problems with transferring photos and such, it doesn't feel slouchy in that regard.

How slow has it taken for this to get 'hot'!!

The OP had lost the will to live!

Heat added n fast delivery from Play ages ago Eidolon, thanks

Guess peeps were too busy voting on non-existent Tesco deals again

Hot deal. Too bad it's play.com who wouldn't refund me a shipment they lost in the past.

I bought one of these around Christmas for my camcorder, works perfectly fine for 1080/50P capture. Not quite as fast as a Class 10 card should be, but definitely fast enough for me.

Interesting.....I have the same problem with my TZ7 - but with a 16gb class 10 Samsung card. Perhaps it is a camera problem with large cards?

I bought one of these over Xmas for my DSLR. It seemed ok at first but I noticed one of the photos I took was corrupted. I didn't want to risk reliability so I returned it for a refund.

Same price for the same card class and size for when the play ones go out of stock or for if you don't like Play.com
