    Somebody posted this on AVForum

i called tesco earlier on regarding my pre order and they said all games were despatched yesterday they are having system issues and cant change the status on peoples orders.......i also have a ps3 version coming from argos, called them and the confirmed it was shipped yesterday as well.....i am pretty sure both argos entertainment and tesco entertainment are run by the th hut group so that would make sense

Sainsburys are going to be selling it at £25 instore on release day i've heard, this has also be confirmed by several people who work at Sainsbury so i'd hold fire until then!

If you don't think this is a great deal for pre-release then wait 3 years and buy it from a bin in Game second hand for £5

Can't understand why this is so hot?
£35 for any game is a rip off - although I'm sure I'll be stuck playing this addicting load of crap for the next 12 months. Actually £2.92 per month doesn't sound so bad now.......ordered...lol

I think what I was trying to say was that online, it's £39.90 (xbox) … I think what I was trying to say was that online, it's £39.90 (xbox) before the code, so will it be £39.90 as store price?

Tesco have run a nationwide newspaper advert with the price as £39.90 so it seems a reasonable assumption at this point.

We can hope for a launch day price war though.

If a kid that is going to get 4days online time or complete the campaign … If a kid that is going to get 4days online time or complete the campaign and get 2 days online time. Is that not worth 40 quid. Get a grip we all love a deal but it soley depends on the use you get.

£10 a day sounds pretty steep to me yes. I've paid £10 for games which I have spent far more time on than any of the CODs. And i love the COD games, can't wait for this but I ain't going to pay more than £25 when thats all I paid for MW2.

Cold, it will be cheaper on the day, hold out for those 29 or 25 quid … Cold, it will be cheaper on the day, hold out for those 29 or 25 quid offers!

How can you vote cold against a price or offer that is hearsay? This offer is hot based on current prices. If a better price is out in a weeks time then fine but right now its hot. If you are going to take that approach then why not vote next weeks "price" as cold as it will be cheaper in a years time.

rash decision if you're pre-ordering now, bound to be cheaper in the supermarkets. Still, this is hot for an online pre-order.

It's not a pisstake at all.
I think I paid £40 for MW2 in the end, and I've spent more than 80 hours playing it. 50p an hour for a game I really enjoy is a bargain.
