I think that's the 3rd comment for Tactics Ogre - looks like I might have to lose another £4 ;)

Cheers op. Hadn't even realised tactics ogre was on the useless vita store (y)

I know if's been cheaper, but to be fair it's only £6.99. Not an entirely unreasonable price!

Definitely get 4 - it was my entry into the series and still remains an all time classic. Ultimate Phoenix (Spoony bard that he is) is absolutely right about the music too!

I'd say go with 4, probably alot similar to others you played, might buy that one myself! Good battle music too!!

"Free delivery over £25" >£24.99 Oh Smyths you cheeky gits! (annoyed)

This game is worth a go at a tenner but is not even in the same league as the first one. It will continue to drop imo

Waiting on the King's Edition to hit that sweetspot where I break. So much to play at the moment that I can resist, but this is a great price.

Probably worth mentioning that there are additional delivery costs that should be added to the total.

Really nice game, story not as good as the first, but battles are much less tedious, if a little easy. Town building is really addictive and well done also.

I should add: this deal is a great price though, provided that you can actually get what you’ve paid for (so I’ve heated it!)

It’s a long (and tedious) tale but basically there was some sort of conflict with the activation code saying that it was already registered (it was: to me!). Ended up uninstalling the Rockstar Social Club portal and associated programmes (btw the whole ‘Social Club’ side of things is an annoyance). After a lot more technical jiggery-poker (sending lots of system data to Rockstar, resetting router/server configurations etc) I eventually- after an estimated 10hours or more live chat support. - started the process of downloading the game. The download speed was ridiculously slow. The server was disconnecting all the time (and most of the time was saying it was simply unavailable. After about three days of leaving my PC on 24/7 I had managed to download approx 20 Gb of the game (Its an 80 gig game). So it would have taken a week or so (and then still with no guarantee it would run). I’d had enough by that point: I’d already wasted far too much time on it by now. The final insult was when neither Rockstar nor Cd-Keys were prepared to refund my money/offer me an a credit note or anything. Just a rip off really.

I think you run this risk with every shop that provides keys. They have no way of knowing if the key was used or not and if the person is just trying to get a other key from them. Could you explain your problem a bit more? You said it wouldn't install properly, what does that mean?

I have just been in a wrangle with CD-Keys over this very game. Bought the code. Activated it. However game would not install properly from Rckstar. Literally wasted hours with Rockstar customer support trying to resolve the issue. Eventually I gave up. Rockstar said it was CD-Keys issue re refund. CD-Keys said it was nothing to do with them *and did not even bother to reply to my very courteous email I sent them). Basically I shelled out £17 quid for absolutely - and literally - ‘nothing. Taught e aa hard lesson re ‘digital content’ where - unless you manage to ‘capture’ the info on your HD you literally are dealing with an invisible product (unlike a physical copy of a game i.. game disk). There appears to be no protection for the consumer in these circumstances. Has put me off from ever dealing with CD-Keys again. Will stick with Steam in future: maybe more pricey - but have a clear refund policy and seem more reputable.

That's true, but they cannot access your login information so your account is safe as that is server side. The GTA:O hacks are client side. Both games share the same servers and even friends for the steam version go through Rockstar, the only difference is the generic features that come with having a steam client and the price bump for paying through steam (steam gets a 30% commision for all of the games sold there).

I'm not entirely sure, I thought Fusion was free if you owned any SS games. Though for some reason it seems to be bundled with Serious Sam VR: First Encounter, but not the other games. Don't think you actually need it to play the individual games.

So basically if you have the hub you still need to buy the game? They charge for the hub I cant see how but looks to be £7.49!

Fusion is a hub for all the SS games, I found it slightly confusing as it seemed to imply you could play the existing (2D) games in VR. That's not the case though, they're completely separate purchases. The Final Encounter VR is quite good, not tried the others yet.

What is Serious Sam Fusion VR and does it include Serious Sam 3 BFE VR?

I miss serious Sam. Had so much fun with first and second encounter. Never got around to 3

Agreed, the earlier total wars had so much more personality. Nowadays it seems like they just re-hash it over and over. Exact same content, sometimes less so that they can then go on to add "expansions" for more money. I'm not cynical.... (lol)

Good price for Rome 2, voted hot. After playing the original Rome and Rome 2, I personally prefer the original even though it starting to look quite dated its less buggy and more fun to play.

The time spent waiting toward the endgame becomes ridiculous on all the recent games. And yes if we all had the MET office's supercomputers at home then maybe we could run a halfway decent game, but it would still be with a reduced graphics display and no shadows and no fire and a unit size of 10 etc... Medieval 2 had the balance correct, and is infinitely more playable than anything since. Plus you actually get to finish the game which is novel. Empire has a known glitch i've never been able to get around, where it freezes halfway through a campaign, usually on a naval battle. And using autocomplete defeats the purpose of playing a RTS. Shogun had horrendous sea battles, and "fixed" this with Fall of the Samurai which introduced 1-sided sea battles if you pick any side with ironclads. But again, i never actually got to complete a game because it took so long to wait for the AI turns to be done. Basically buy the newer versions of total war if you're all about CPU and SSD and want to START dozens of amazing campaigns. Which i will be doing. Heat added. Game bought. Sigh, i hate this site.

Good price. Just cant get into the more recent total wars, spend more time waiting for the turns to process than you do issuing orders/commands. Medieval 2 was the best. I liked empire total war but it was pretty slow at processing turns, seemed to go downhill from there.

It's one of many things about Sony that bugs me at the moment.

They should really merge these accounts like XBOX Play anywhere, especially with the Premium account. I would pay £90 a year to be able to play the EA new games on both PC and Xbox One X. I shouldn't have to choose, or pay twice to play the same games!

Yea £89 a year ( can't remember the monthly cost) to get access to every new EA title 5 days before release and all the games the Vault. We'll worth it imho I appreciate you never actually own them but it's still a bargain . My only annoyance is calling the existing access accounts ' access basic" .

Unfortunately, they're separate subscriptions. Origin Access for PC and EA Access for Xbox One.

Shame Sony doesnt think this is worthy of being on the ps4.

Couldn’t see this deal posted, and seems to match the one at Gamersgate, just without the discount code. Other versions of the game on sale too. DRM: Rockstar Social Club

Back to £39.99 now, went to buy it for my eldest so we could play online together and missed out.

Anyone know when this deal will end?

That's great thanks i'll have a read. Edit - i've read it and i've only got $8k so can't do anything yet but it's a free $250k giveaway at the moment after 14th June so i'll have that to get me started.

You will need a business. You can get an office, warehouse, bunker, facility, motorbike club etc. I'd recommend joining a crew on Social Club as you will start getting invites to higher level missions which give you more money and RP. This guide on Reddit should get you going in the right direction for making some money.

Thanks but how do you do gun running/drug dealing/import and export etc as all I see when I join online is basically races and death matches which i'm not interested in. I'm also not in any crew and so am doing stuff solo online.

The thing I loved about Homm3 was that some of the Heroes were unique and OP. Like Solmyr with his Chain Lightning and Deemar with Meteor Shower, especially combined with air/earth expert skills respectively. They made all heroes exactly the same in 4 and 5 only the portraits and names were different. Didn't really get into 6 or 7. After the cool story on to the question, I already have the standard edition of 7 (which I haven't played yet though), is Solmyr the amazing Homm3 Solmyr or exactly the same as the other heroes with a cooler name and portrait i.e. no advantages to him?
