Acclaimed filmmaker Christopher Nolan directs an international cast in this sci-fi actioner that travels around the globe and into the world of dreams. Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) is the best there is at extraction: stealing valuable secrets inside the subconscious during the mind's vulnerable dream state. His skill has made him a coveted player in industrial espionage but also has made him a fugitive and cost him dearly. Now he may get a second chance if he can do the impossible: inception, planting an idea rather than stealing one. If they succeed, Cobb and his team could pull off the perfect crime. But no planning or expertise can prepare them for a dangerous enemy that seems to predict their every move. An enemy only Cobb could have seen coming.

Memento
Leonard Shelby (Guy Pearce) remembers everything up to the night his wife was brutally raped and murdered. But since that tragedy, he has suffered from short-term memory loss and cannot recall any event, the places he has visited or anyone he has met just minutes before.
Determined to find out why his wife was killed, the only way he can store evidence is on scraps of paper, by taking Polaroid photos and tattooing vital clues on his body. Throughout his investigation, he appears to have the help of both bartender Natalie (Carrie-Ann Moss), who may have her own secret agenda and police officer Teddy (Joe Pantoliano) whose friendship is always suspect.
The Prestige
Is there a secret you would kill to know? In this electrifying, suspense-packed thriller from director Christopher Nolan (Batman Begins, Memento), Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale play magicians whose cutthroat attempts to better each other plunge them into deadly deceptions. Scarlett Johansson also stars as the stage assistant who's both a pawn and player in their rivalry. A brilliant supporting cast (including Michael Caine and David Bowie). An ingenious story. An astonishing payoff. Once you see The Prestige, you'll want to see it again. Watch closely.
Special Features:
Director's Notebook: The Prestige - The Cinematic Sleight of Hand of Christopher Nolan: 5 Making-Of Featurettes

The Dark Knight
Christian Bale once again embodies the man behind the mask in "The Dark Knight". The film reunites Bale with "Batman Begins" director Christopher Nolan and takes Batman across the world in his quest to fight a growing criminal threat.
With the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon (Gary Oldman) and District Attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart), Batman has been making headway against local crime - until a rising criminal mastermind known as The Joker (the late Heath Ledger in his Oscar-winning role) unleashes a fresh reign of chaos across Gotham City.
To stop this devious new menace - Batman's most personal and vicious enemy yet - he will have to use every high-tech weapon in his arsenal and confront everything he believes.
Special Features:

Batman Tech
Batman Unmasked
Gotham Tonight

The Dark Knight Rises
It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive. Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act.
But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar with a mysterious agenda. Far more dangerous, however, is the emergence of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile. But even if he dons the cape and cowl again, Batman may be no match for Bane.

As they blame their partner for grumbling when they wanted to have one last look on here before they turned in, but they resisted, to keep the peace.
As they curse themselves for thinking that a scorcher cannot be posted without their approval.
As they envy and hate on those that have managed to order before they become unavailable.
As they weep whilst praying the orders get cancelled.
As the trolls boast of how they ordered 5 and offer to sell them to those that hit the sacks, prematurely., alone at the RRP minus a fiver.
And then, in the distance, I hear a waterfall of tears, as amazon actually do cancel the orders.
I predict
But you've got to be in it to win it. So for those that are up, searching for that one grease palmer and battling livejasmin, here's what I say to you:
^^^^^^ You're welcome

I doubt very much he really wishes the bloke AIDs. Just a bit of hyperbole.
Anybody that orders more than two I hope stub their toe tomorrow and it flipping hurts.
Surely there should be some badge we can award to the pillock who calls up to ask if it's a misprice?
Instead it ended up being a random mess with some orders slipping through, some customers getting nothing, some having the original order or original orders re-instated (for however many), some receiving compensation credit, even multiple times, some getting both, even some with new orders for more than they originally bought.
Any situation where an exploitative tool like megaman2 can end up with 5 / 10 copies of the product (and no, there was no skill or ingenuity involved) yet many normal shoppers can't have their single orders sent is obviously wrong.
Tell me you didn't just call it Dark knight returns...
Already expired....
what a plank!

except your not a genius, you slid through a crack in the system, like the rest of us, all i can see in that photo is greed.
Am I the only one who thinks wishing AIDS on someone is a lot lower than buying all the stock to sell on eBay?
I'm going down the terminal illness route (yes, I know. Not ethical, distasteful etc)
"Rajiv:I'm sorry but we are unable to comment on orders that are not placed from your account.
Me:Oh Rajiv. I don't know what to do. This might be our last Christmas together. Can you not see how much this means to me?"
I totally agree with everything you say in all your posts. Just chose this bit to quote though.
I have cancelled my account with Amazon. Like you I wasn't overly bothered about not getting the boxset but I was disgusted by the disgraceful way that Amazon mishandled this situation, allowing some to receive 5 items and others none at all. I complained several times about this policy but each time they tried to tell me that nobody had received any copy at the stated price. I'm afraid sometimes you have to make a stand. They buggered my order up a couple of months ago and I complained. This was the final straw. I use play.com more often than Amazon anyway so I don't feel as if I will miss them. Greedy corrupt **** don't pay any tax either that get's my goat too. Some cocky but less than bright spark will no doubt say that one person leaving is hardly going to have them quivering in their boots but you have to start somewhere. People/consumer power made Starbucks begin to shake a bit.
Even a "Last Christmas together" won't make him concede.
Add him to the list.
I don't particularly want the boxset (although obviously I would prefer if I did get it, otherwise I wouldn't have ordered it) but I will be sending an email to amazon, expressing how ridiculous this is. Maybe it's only practical purpose would be to vent my frustrations but honestly I think everyone who had it cancelled should do the same.
Although I do agree somewhat with the sentiment, that sometimes life is unfair and there's nothing you can do, I don't think anybody here is acting "over the top". This is a shopping website, specifically a discussion thread for this product and this deal. Where exactly would you want people to talk about it? If it hadn't been "moaned" about here then many people would not have realised the issue, read how others were treated and been able to voice their opinions to Amazon about the situation, which is important because it let's Amazon know that many customers are unhappy with the service. It has nothing to do with poverty in the third world so you can pretend to come down from your imaginary high horse.
There is also the irony that you're moaning about moaning, so by your own judgement that makes you a hypocritical old woman.

So you did nothing different to anyone else here then.
Good news everyone, we're all geniuses.
The £7 Wacom Bamboo's were all sent out
Unless, of course, you order a job lot - then they'll cancel
(awaits dozens of 'Oops too late' posts)
Whether you buy to keep or buy to make a few quid... good luck to you either way!
Have some heat OP!
Totally agree, would hate to see what the human race will be like in an apocalyptic event, probably steal your left kidney to sell it if they could.

Thanks for the update.
Well at least you managed to get a date from the situation.
Wow, you're such a rebel.
I think the consensus here as a whole is that people understand that it's a misprice. We're angry about the inequality in customer service that customers are experiencing
Charming. Judging by that you don't actually have a legitimate response and can't handle someone else being able to justify having a different opinion to yourself whilst making you look foolish?
Poor English, stereotyping, sexism and profanity in under 50 words; it's straight out of the dumb troll handbook. If you've nothing constructive to say go and troll the Oxfam website, as you're so concerned about World poverty.
The bizarre thing is, "honouring one" is a common policy for Amazon misprices and it was the obvious way to go, given the dispatches they couldn't prevent and how they chose to handle the situation.
I think £11.50 was far too cheap for the product at this time therefore Amazon didn't want to fulfil any orders, but they couldn't stop a few sneaking through because the processing system is highly automated and efficient. Excepting those, all were to be cancelled.
However Amazon made a major mistake, which was not communicating with customer services about the policy for this mis-price from the get-go. Cue customers with cancellation emails discovering the orders that slipped through on here and crying unfair treatment, and each of the many customer service reps, with no direction, handling the complaints in whatever way they thought best and hence the wide range of compensations.
12 hours later the ever increasing chaos has enough of an impact to be noticed and, in an "OH S**T-esque" moment Amazon finally realise the staff need clarification and stonewall all new complaints. How this wasn't considered initially is incredible. Yet, even after all of the above, those who kept on whining and digging and escalating about the non-uniform treatment and got lucky still had their orders re-instated, making even more of a mockery of the whole scenario for those who got nothing.
I don't think anyone is deluded enough to believe Amazon have done anything wrong, as per their legal obligations, but such poor management and blatant differentiation without a reason is not how a retailer should treat customers. It's lucky their reputation is so well regarded generally, in an environment where rivals are cutting service to keep costs down, and I doubt customers affected will be bothered for too long. Plus in the end it's only a £36 blu-ray set.
Personally I'm not disappointed because I didn't receive my order by itself but because Amazon selected not to fulfil my order whilst choosing to dispatch many others with no legitimate reason for bias. Plus, although this could just be distorted perspective, it seems many orders they decided to re-instate were on the basis of juvenile pressure and fabricated sob stories, which frankly is a revolting justification for differentiating (on the part of people why tried it on as well as from Amazon) and is entirely unprofessional.
Dishonoured at £10 wasn't a misprice.
Its happening already lol

I know, how dare they not make a loss on a service they provide. I'm going to demand a £5 taxi to their headquarters to complain.
Don't believe everything you read on here
