Bear in mind that the staff have had this situation crapped on to them from a great height. It was badly organised, badly planned, poorly communicated and then to withdraw clearance items during trading hours as they were going out of stock is an utter joke. I work for CPW and have had to put up with serveral rude phone calls and verbally abusive customers in store because of this (some of them even mentioned HUKD).

The company did an uttery awful job of organising this but it doesn't matter how far up the chain you've managed to speak to, it's in no way the fault of the person you are speaking too. So try to bear that in mind and if they are abrupt with you it's probably because their workload has been doubled today (mine certainly was) and there's a very good chance they've had to put up with rude and verbally abusive customers over this (I did).

Just to put this in perspective a member of staff I know just walked out today after being shouted and sworn at for the 4th time... It's just not on.

you lot need to shut up with the complaining (apart from the people who have recieved faulty goods or wrong model than excpected) cpw have done no wrong here, all the problems with cancelations etc where caused by system crashes and the likes, these crashes are out of cpw's hands and as said a few times the crashes where caused by people trying to make major bulk orders.

as much as i thank the guy for posting this deal if anything this is the OP's fault and others who leaked the information before the 26th, clearly this is why hes been suspended from hukd and why so many problems have arisen, cpw obviously wanted this promotion(like a lot of companies do) to be applied on the date with no prior advertisement so it slowly gains interest and gradually grows.

sorry for the rant but please give up with the complaining unless u got faulty goods or a wrong model...

Essentially, it's £50 more for the 3G feature. Well worth it if you also get a Tmobile PAYG micro-sim, topup £10 one off and get 12months internet. 500Mb per month limit which is a bit low but if you're only checking email, facebook and other non intensive stuff then it's fine.

I was all set to be camped out at our local CPW tomorrow morning but on reflection, the Galaxy Tab is already overpriced & cheaper alternatives will be coming out soon, the Orange San Francisco is a better phone than the LG Optimus or HTC Wildfire, the Archos tab has a resistive touchscreen, the Samsung Wave II has a weird OS and the Desire Z is thicker and slower than the Desire S and with a keyboard I would probably never use.

People stop complaining, it's not CPW's fault, they must have been bombared with 10,000 of thousands of orders, BLAME the hotuk Lurkers, they ruin everything, like others have suggested, once a deal reaches a certain temperature, it should only be availble to view for members. Right, just back from CPW. The guy wasn't going to open until 13:00 and pointed to the open hours which showed 11:00 - 17:00 but he had pulled the card along a little to show 1:00 - 17:00.

He eventually let me in (even though he was on his own!) and when I told him the problem, he said CPW don't do refunds. I explained that under the SOGA if they make an offer and I accept in cash and they bind the deal by shipping the goods but provide an item different to the description or agreed product, I have up to 6 years to return the item. He was standing his ground saying CPW can exchange for another item to which I said he can either ring his manager or I'll send Charlie an email stating what he had told me. Needless to say, he rang his manager and agreed the refund which took all of 30 seconds.

When did CPW lower their customer service to P4u / DSG standards?
