3:0 to the Airfryer so far! Thank you both!
squiff
I've been wondering whether to ask Santa for a Tefal Actifry or a Philips Airfryer. The reviews on the Actifry aren't that good and has steered me towards the Airfryer by quite a considerable amount. If people who have one or both could give me their views that would help too.
i have the Phillips one it's really good I only use 2 sprays of fry light vegetable oil and it cooks chips perfectly ( and they are syn free at slimming world which is the main reason I got it)
Hi might help you. Had both of these machines. My ActiFry set itself alight and my kitchen. !!!! The air fryer on the other hand makes much nicer / crispier things. Much better quality too.

Doesn't look like anyone has mentioned it yet.

It looks like OCZ have gone into administration.

I say we remove this post so no-one accidentally gets one of these. It won't be useful to anyone now and was only ever harmful in the first place. I just wish I had the foresight that some people on here have and then I wouldn't have been foolish enough to post the deal in the first place.

You might want to get rid of the other post too. I bet they even regret duplicating it now.

I wonder how many of OCZs critics have a) actually owned an OCZ SSD and b) had first hand experience of a failure?
Are you saying it's a conspiracy theory then? If so then it's a very well orchestrated one as widespread problems with OCZ drives were widely reported a number of years ago. Not sure but they don't seem to have such a bad reputation with more recent drives.

Personally I don't buy their products due to very bad experiences with their RAM which I handled in bulk in my business and their poor customer service. So the SSD reliability issues along with some of their ethically dubious practices with SSDs made me decide to stay well away from them although I also appreciate that they are a different company now that their founder has been kicked out I think!
The odds are highly in your favour that these drives by now will be fine but I don't like rewarding poorly performing companies even if their bargain basement pricing might seem attractive.

I think this is going to be the first and last deal I post on here. You guys just don't quit do you. I've seen and read all these comments before on previous OCZ SSD threads. I had a Sandisk that broke last week. Shall I hijack every single Sandisk SSD, SD Card or Sandisk Branded Tea-Towel deal that comes up in the next two years? No I won't. I have heard rumors that Sandisk aren't that great, but I have 6 of them and because 1 has failed doesn't mean that every deal for any product they ever make should be shunned.

Products have a failure rate, generally people only focus on those that failed or in some cases we have been lucky enough to hear from those with positive experiences as well in an effort to balance the negativity we see so commonly across virtually every HUKD thread.

But go ahead, berate this deal because you don't want to support a company that failed you in your completely unrelated business to business arrangement. Personally I have 2 x OCZ Agility 120GB's that seem to be working well and 1 x OCZ GS 650W PSU still going strong. They aren't a poorly performing company in my eyes.

Having said that I don't need to defend a deal for a £30-40 SSD. It's the cheapest available deal for anyone who wants them. We know the score with the reliability compared to top end drives like the Samsung's and I would encourage you to buy a Samsung if you can afford it. So I ask you, bearing in mind those who may want an SSD in this price range, provide us with a better deal for a more reliable drive.
I did warn you that they were a very poor company and the only one I boycott for a good reason and now they have filed for bankruptcy - LINK.
Hopefully their assets are bought in such a way that the warranties remain valid.

I totally agree.

Edited By: rfu3 on Nov 30, 2013 00:44: None
My OCZ 100gb has failed, after one day of use its packed it in. And now with them going bankrupt, I might as well return it.
I've now ordered myself the Kingston HyperX 3K 120GB SSD from the deal that's posted on here. Should be better.

scrap that, I cancelled the Kingston after reading that fails too.

Found a good deal on the Samsung evo for 67 quid delivered from amazon, ordered that now. Piece of mind :)

Can anyone confirm, that this plays .mkv files?
Reviews on amazon mixed on this regard.
Cheers
I got this. The actual Netflix app is fine. Youtube doesn't work very well in screen pairing mode, the reviews on Amazon diagnose it.

S4 with Android 4.2 doesn't work well at all with Miracast, audio is out of sync.
Picked one up yesterday and its foolproof for what I bought it for (Netflix). Miracast works perfectly from my Nexus 7 so all in all a bargain. :)

Any news on the 64gb version? I think I'd rather have 64gb than 32gb + 500gb.

we found this at the weekend - we were going to get the £100 19" LG from RS. Not bad at all, especially with decent smart functions including catch-up TV and Netflix. Not freeview HD, but pic is OK - not brilliant IMHO but good at the price. Sound is surprisingly good though, much better than other small screen Samsungs we own.

Great game, loads of levels, items and collectables to get and hidden levels too

Took me ages to get all the KONG letters lol

The game holds its value, it sells for around £23 on ebay used - I still hold this in my 3DS collection because its nice to play again etc
great find :)
great price heat added.this game's among the top 3 best games on 3DS.

Great game but I would recommend the original Wii version if you have access to one as it runs at 60fps.
I played some the original Wii before getting rid of Wii (not a fan of that console at all),now I have the 3DS version and find it much more enjoyable to play.3D effects re really nice too.also there is a easier game option now.
Wii version had stupid controls and you couldn't use the claasic controller and had to use that remote horizontally to play the game which was really awkward.

Is it yet another poor Lego port of the DS games? =(
The DS Lego games, and particularly the 3DS versions have been excellent, and were very similar to the console version.
This one however is by all accounts an absolute disgrace. AVOID.
As mentioned, not as fully fledged as the console versions. If you preordered a ps4 in store from game, they're doing this game for ps4 at half price on launch. Should be 25 - and then you can also play it on your vita ;-)
I assumed it was the same as the console and pc games as the vita should be more than capable of being able to id thought.. I might give this a miss if its a watered down release in comparison then :(
Is it yet another poor Lego port of the DS games? =(
The story is the same but the gameplay is completely different. You only have one character and play through mini levels.

I wouldn't describe this as "really cheap", I'd say this is the cheapest price you've seen it for if you're after it on home console for either your kids or yourself. It's not a £20 voucher you get for registering, it's £20 off a minimum spend (£35 I think, or at least it used to be). Still worthwhile if you're willing to buy in bulk, though this price for the machine isn't that great.

Please provide link/s to better not expired deal/s then, I love it how people claim there are better deals but never provide any prove to back up their claims.

Woah there Jonny-2-deals, I didn't say there are better deals (there may well be, in fact it's £49 in John Lewis with a 2 year guarantee which is arguably a better deal). I said that this isn't a great price, being as several good deals have cropped up over the last year or so (I got one for £30 during one of the Costa Club promos). Don't get me wrong though, the machine is great.

Let me go find my time machine, I have it somewhere for thus very situation. I think I have Marty's and docs number save on speed dial :p

Oh and sorry my English teacher, as for the prove/proof thing I'm typing on the nexus 7 and it has a mind of its own.

That's OK, none of us are perfect.

I thought a time machine quip might be coming. Very original. However, I still maintain that the value proposition of the John Lewis deal is better. Ah well, horses etc.

Is the TCP to sterilise the freezer?
butane gas used in these freezers doesn't like cold temp as it starts to become sluggish, turns to liquid and perform as it should when near to and below freezing ambient temp. For the record, Indesit own and make Hotpoint and Ariston. Hotpoint is premium end of Indesit built range.

Would rather go for the Zanussi underneath,£20 more and 10x better make !

I'd say they were about the same as manufacturers go.
Use in outbuildings: This refrigerator is not designed to be used in an outbuilding – both your food and the appliance can be damaged. Do not use it in any unheated area
Good price - but it's not normally £349.99 - it's more usually found at £229.99.
