The undead curse continues to spread across the kingdom of Drangleic with Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin, a compilation of the critically acclaimed Dark Souls II along with its three DLC chapters (Crown Of The Sunken King, Crown Of The Old Iron King, and Crown Of The Ivory King.)
Face the challenge once again in this sequel to the hardcore action RPG. Dark Souls II features a new hero, a new storyline, and an unfamiliar world for players to survive in while delivering its signature brand of unrelenting punishment that players hunger for. Epic battles with gruesome enemies and blood-thirsty bosses await adventurers as they traverse through a devastated world filled with death and despair; only those who are strong willed or cunning can survive this journey to achieve great glory. Players seeking to share their experience will discover a revamped server-based multiplayer mode that puts a distinct Dark Souls II twist on the concept of playing with others.

sorted byHow can you play 500 Hours of the originals and then find this one too difficult ? you should be pro
PC version also £15~ which I think is the lowest the SFS version has ever been.
Torn between buying the inferior apparently-poor framerate PS3 version or the PC version but I don't have access to my desktop right now to play it.
Edit: Bought the PS3 version, hopefully the framerate got fixed in patches.

If you've managed Demon Souls and Dark Souls 1 you should manage this. Try to persist with it a bit more, the game opens up more after that area.
if I wrote this and then read what I wrote "500 hours into both games". I would consider if I had a life!
I know I did this of 3 years on DC universe and I can still hear it calling me.
I finished ds 1 and also have not finished this (on 360) as I find it harder.
Better mechanics and graphics than the first but not quite the same feel.
V tempted but can't justify at this price as still have it on last gen. Heat though!
Yeah been playing on PS3 this morning.
They clearly didn't fix the FPS problems, it's constantly dropping to 20~ fps. In fact the opening scene was going about 15fps.
Maybe i'm just spoilt by PC gaming but anything below a constant 30fps (at minimum, pref. 60) gives me headaches these days.

Well worth the price though, purchased it early for £35, about 50 hours in and still haven't finished, haven't even started DLC yet either.
I just bought witcher 3 that received a 10/10 from gamespot, but I was hugely dissapointed. Now I have trust issues lol.
In my opinion this is a better game than Bloodborne, the combat is much more varied though so you may not agree. (The best Souls game is still the first). At £25 it's worth a shot!
Personally, I'd never trust or even waste my time reading a videogame "review".
I had and loved the PS3 one, never noticed a framerate issue, too busy ****ing my pants
But they have recently changed the free delivery minimum order to £20, so you can't get the PS3 / 360 versions for that price. Bad move Amazon!
I had it on the PS3(The original version without DLC) and I agree, there were FPS issues which was very distracting. I got my copy for the PS4, haven't played it yet although I hope the FPS doesn't drop as much as the PS3 version!
It's basically the same, but with a more complex upgrade / customisation system. Incredible game. I probably preferred Bloodborne on balance, but if you enjoyed that then this, Dark Souls and Demons Souls are basically essential purchases.
Demons Souls was my favourite. What a game!
