Good price. I bought an earlier model about three years ago. The cutting blade is very thin steel and gets bent easily if it hits a stone. Difficult to sharpen becuase dents in blade take out chunks of material. Best I have found a replacement blade is about £30 delivered. Not a problem if you have level stone free lawn. Good powerful mower apart from this.

It's a phenomenal deal and all brand snobs should be ignored. Loads of tradesmen are using Ryobi.

Most problems with tools are caused by the tools using the tools.

Nothing wrong with Ryobi. They have earnt me £000's.

Good deal for the batteries alone.
ScoobyZ
I've just remembered why I stopped posting deals about a year ago!
enigmatik33
Never had a problem with Ryobi one + stuff. The 4.0ah batteries are good for the energy hungry tools, angle grinder, chop saw and impact gun, but the smaller batteries can be handy for working at height or in places where weight and fatigue can be an issue. Good warranty so if issues just contact them. They aren't professional grade tools but difference in price shows that.

One of the worst tool in this price range. Lethargic batteries after some use. Buy a better tool instead.
I have had a 4.0ah battery for over 2 years now constantly used on circular and jig saws; still does a great job one of the best things I have ever purchased as far as tools go.

Me too, only mines probably 4 or 5 years old, I've worn out one circular saw, screwed down 9 rooms worth of flooring (just from the boxes left over, that's around 8000 screws), sawn kitchen worktops with a jigsaw, fitted doors and loads and loads of general DIY and apart from the saw, the original batteries are going strong, so are all the tools. This was without a doubt the best purchase I've ever made in DIY tools.

That said, at the age mine is, it's quite likely the supplier of the cells in the battery or the manufacturer have reduced quality over time.

Yeah, but unless you've got lots of free / cheap charcoal these things aren't thermally efficient. they are like an open fire, does it at least have a deflector system (baffles) or is it simply heat straight up the chimney?

I've got a wire grill to stick over a campfire if I want food done as badly as my experience was on one of these.
I use a barrel bbq (proper oil-drum) with extended chimney, & a weber, cold smoking, low n slow etc ..I have seen a few of these on free-cycle if you aren't desperate though, ...worth bearing in mind, & bookers wholesaler does pretty good restaurant charcoal if you need to mix fuels up a bit over extended cooking times.

I have my eye on a (heavily insulated) outdoor pizza oven but the greeny in me says that if i'm going to deal with thermal mass then stick it onto the side of the house so the slowly built up heat doesn't all go to waste.

Does this have iron rods & refractory bricks or just small slot together pre-forms to mortar?
potentially a nice patio warmer (big logs) ..though the heat being directly below the fire seat rather than off-set a lot of waste.
Good luck with it though if your heart's set on one.

Having used one of this style I was less than impressed.
If you are going to spend that sort of money on a BBQ i'd recommend looking at Mac's bbq smokers & grills, very good expandable units that keep the heat in..build em small or build em tall after getting some expansion pieces for them.

lot of money for a few bits of pre-formed concrete (then you have to ready a decent base too
mosskeeto
Just checking through the reviews and the main points are, okay for a smallish family, looks good when done but it comes unpainted, it can crack and there is not enough cement supplied to complete it.
Looks like the ones I see all the time in Portugal and they are around the same price

Don't know why cold. normally £28 . couldn't find cheaper anywhere else except toolstation but with p& p was more. if vote cold please tell us why or people wont be able to make an informed decision

No vote from me but as you ask, unable to stack them, no wheels to pull it, no shoulder strap to carry it, tool bags are quicker to locate correct tool and normally hold more, don't tip over as easily.

I thought the point of this site was for deals. Not for personal product reviews. It's the cheapest anywhere that I could find hence posting it as a deal. Voting cold because it doesn't have wheels is irrelevant. That's your own personal opinion and nothing to do with it being cheap.

You mean discs right? and no it won't come with any but you can buy them online for peanuts they are bloody expensive at diy outlets .
Where do you buy the blades online?

Loads on eBay, German made ones on item number 121946268632.
Same guard is used, not sure what that reviewer was on about, just make sure if you are cutting you use the proper cutting discs. They are made differently to grinding discs.

So you are being presumptions. ..lol :p
How so?
Presuming he might be excited, perhaps?
When you use words like 'might' and 'perhaps' it usually negates or diffuses any presumption built into a statement. The author you are defending made a presumption that anything written in caps is shouting regardless of any errors even the one in their response.

For example:
Rickardo only comments so he can be liked.
Rickardo might be commenting for other reasons, perhaps?

Anyways, I don't want to drag this out considering the OP is now banned. You are welcome to PM if you feel strongly about it.

Isn't that the whole point of this website? We share information on good deals.

paneds mocmocamoc does have a point mocmocamoc was asking in reference to if some one has been to the store other than OP or even OP already and seen a bargain worth sharing for others to see and DellBoy has already been kind enough and posted some items!!

It's not being lazy maybe mocmocamoc doesn't want salt but might go if there is any thing else worth going their for. How do yo know mocmocamoc has just an hour or so slot from his work to make a quick visit and grab what he wants.

if it worth posting like OP has and people local to Filton B&Q near Bristol will now know to visit the store and go straight to the salt and get them for 0p and stock them for what ever purpose they intend to use it for. Other wise who would have thought of going to the Filton B&Q branch and think you know what I will go and pick a bag or two of salt in case it is free.... I don't even know why OP went but he did because he is DelBoy and was going to wheel and deal with a bag of salt.

I could go on but thought of sparing your brain it might be acking by now

I once bought a Drain Pump, similar to a balloon pump but for clearing blocked sinks, it had a slight defect on one of the plastic parts that was quite distinctive, whoever had made the molds for that particular part had duplicated the slight defect so that it was the same on all of the pumps. Great sink drain clearer, even better that it only cost a Quid from Pound land.
I was in BQ a few weeks later and saw the same pump in a different coloured plastic, exactly the same defect.
BQ`s were charging £9.99, that why so many of them closed down a few years ago, the in-store TRADE POINT has helped their sales figures, but they are still very expensive for most of the items they sell and in some cases Daylight Robbery.
