sorted byYou need to set steam to offline mode if you play offline regularly, only drawback is you need to do it whilst online.
And good price OP, heated.
The last time i saw you venture into a PC game thread was when you were trying to argue the only way to play FPS games was with a controller. Do yourself a favour and stick to the console threads mate, you won't look such a nob then,
The key will allow you to play it on Mac or PC. Just like the retail version.

Steam's Offline Mode tips: support.steampowered.com/kb_…555
From that sentence, maybe you spent less time with your joystick, and more time at school.
It says that this website is download only, i.e. no physical product is sent.
Would there be any issues if I buy this and have it emailed to my email address and then give it to my son who has a Steam account? If so are there any special instructions I need to follow please?
Shouldn't be - just send him the serial key you'll receive off them.
As i remember you create an account with gamersgate, then your "steam key" will be available to view within your account and should also be emailed to you.
you will then need to get your son to download steam, then he needs to create an account with steam(all free) he then needs to go to add game within steam, then add product key (which you got from gamersgate) then the download for the game will begin.
if he has a stream account ignore all above and just give him the game key
As said above i think steam needs to be always connected to the internet for the game to work, but im not 100% sure you cant play offline

Yes, and no steam is a free program.

steam is free, and i personally love it, the steam summer sales should be awesome, cant see you get this any cheaper than it is though.
it doesn't come out at the start of the season normally around october, but you can always keep your squads up-to-date like you fav team. thats the point your the manager :-)
Thanks
thanks updated title
