Toys R Us have a Promo at the mo where if you spend £15 on Lego you can get a FREE Free Lego City Dumper Truck or Lego Friends Cupcake Stall ( you have to manually add these to the basket - will pop links in 1st post) which is a decent offer as they are £4.99 each but it looks like it might combine with the offer posted by FantasyDeals 10 days ago where if you spend £15 on Lego Marvel Super Heroes you can add a FREE Spider-Man vs The Venom Symbiote Polybag. I added LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Captain America Crossbones' Hazard Heist (76050) to my basket, then the Spider Man, then a dumper truck & the price stayed at £19.99, so may well be worth a play around to see what you can get.
Sadly P&P is only free on orders over £29.99 or is £4.95 on orders under that but you can C+C for FREE.

I'm not sure what you mean by messing about? If you add the items to checkout & choose click & collect, it should tell you whether the store has stock, I checked 7 postcodes & all the stores in those had stock of all 3 free items
I want that Spiderman set -.- If there was a Toys R Us within a reasonable vicinity, I'd be all over this.
I'm sure she won't mind, I'm sure your child/children will enjoy playing with Lego.
Might have better luck with online/delivery...
