    I would say yes as vastly experienced in using the tablets for this very reason!  (y) 
    (and on occasion due to exercise  (skeptical) )

    A couple of tips: They suggest 1 tablet in 750ml of water, this is way way too much if you want it to taste nice. I've found 200-250ml max makes for a very refreshing drink.
    2nd tip is drink one before/during session (if you drink cider you can even pop one in it  :p  ) and one afterwards/before bed.
    If you get up to pee drink a third one, if not then when you get up.
    Note: Recommended max per day is 3, I just prefer the prevention is better than cure approach.
