In the market for new TV
How does this compare to the Samsung UE50CU8500 from John Lewis? I know neither are going to be life changing experiences but which would be the better of the two?

I'm budgeting 300 to 400 so want the best bang for my buck in 50 or 55 inch. I use a new apple TV 4k so operating system not important it's more about pictures quality for movies and sports (edited)

I want to think QLED beats UHD. I want to take a look in Curry’s tho to see if i notice a difference..hmmm… (edited)

I was waiting for this price, so just ordered.
There’s little difference between low-end models (apart from increased number of complaints on cheap Panasonic), this being QLED is likely a small benefit, but comparing all tv’s side to side, you would only notice a difference to Sony, NeoQLED and OLED, leaving everything else at the same level.
5-year warranty is the most important here.
I’m not a tv nerd, it’s just going to be my projector backup for quick watching. (edited)
