Hard drive prices have gone up a lot recently, this seems to be the best price I can find for a 1.5tb drive, either external or internal that is actually in stock. Who knows which was prices will go, but the common consensus seems to be that prices will be inflated for a few months yet. The problem seems to be that companies keep very little stock, and the manufacturers have a low inventory level, so when a problem in the supply line occurs everyone panics and prices rocket - they may well return when the full extent of the damage is assessed.

    Afraid I have no idea what the hard drive brand is. I'd say that the 2Tb description is wrong. The whole description seems to have been copy and pasted from the wrong listing:
    "General
    Brand: Iomega
    Memory
    RAM Size: 256 MB
    Hard Drive
    Hard Drive Size: 2 TB
    Additional Specifications
    Operating System: Windows XP Home Edition"
    I doubt it has ram or windows XP
