Spoke to Jabra today and they told me because they are 3 year old buds and have been lying in a warehouse for years the battery has simply drained and they're no use now.
    That's a shocking admission

It is. Are they going to replace them for you?

Amazing deal. Have been using mine for a couple of years now and don't have a bad word to say about them. Reliable, long battery life and great sound quality.

Totally agree. At this price no other earbuds come close to these in terms of features and audio quality. For a prospective buyer there should be no hesitation. If you ponder you'll miss out.

nooooooooo as soon as I come on hotukdeals there expired

I really liked the 75t I had I thought upgrading to the elite 7 pro was going to be good but they didn't sound good at all so returned them , I heard these 85t are good and definitely an slight upgrade to the 75's (edited)

£77 like new from Amazon warehouse. Occasionally they do 20% off warehouse deals too so may be worth waiting (they did with the 75Ts a year or so back) (edited)

I've got 2 pairs of 75t Elite Active's and they have been excellent. I've had them perhaps 3 years now.

    Heat!

The 75t Elite Actives are indeed fantastic. I bought a spare pair 2 years ago and they are still boxed as the first pair just keep on going

Had my 75Ts since launch and they are great apart from I keep having to push them back in every now and then, even bought some Spinfit tips but just can’t seem to find the best seal! I don’t think these are a massive upgrade but fantastic for the price and if you don’t already own a pair of 75Ts

Tempted to get a second pair at this price. Wonder if they're on clearance as the price is super low.

Think so as its advertised on the front page of amazon, so not a mistake I don't think

Personally, I get complaints about these. Whenever I am in a teams meeting, people say they pick up far too much back ground noise.

A shame cause I really liked my 65t's

Annoyingly, I don't get the same complaint with pixel buds that did not even cost me anything.

Second that, I often get people complaining on calls about background noise. Great headphones for music but not for calls imo

I would have recommended Jabra headphones to anyone up till I tried to order replacement buds for my 65Ts which were just over 2 years old at the time. Jabra had discontinued them and third party buds cannot be used unless removed to go into charging case which was a total pain. I would always check that third party buds fit and Jabra earphones before purchasing from them as I ended up having to purchase other earphones as taking 3rd party buds on and off just kept breaking them

You can use the Spinfit CP1025, which fit both the buds and the case without the need to remove them

    Very good price.

I've owned these and they are great. I recently purchased the 7 pro at £99 and I prefer them at £99 over these at £78.

Only issue I find with the 85t is the size, big and don't fit in the ears as well as the 7 pro.
    Lowtrawler's avatar
I looked at the 7 pro as they are effectively the replacement for the 85t. As you say, they are smaller and similar to the 75t in fit. It is the larger drivers on the 85t which make them bigger but they are also needed for better sound quality. After consideration, I decided the 7 pro would be more of a replacement for the 75t with the 85t offering better sound quality at the expense of bulk.

I'm after a pair where you press pause and the ANC switches off and Passthrough switches on in one move. Can anyone recommend a pair?

I've a pair on Tozo NC2's which are great but it takes a tap of each earpiece to achieve this. My Tozo NC9's need to cycle through ANC, ANC off and Passthrough on for the same job. I want a pair that I can use while working so I can deal with the odd customer.

Mine died just after two years after been in the washing machine five time, it finally gave up. Nevertheless, I really like it despite people’s comments on bad sound quality. It’s the best all rounder on the market. Now with price tag below £80, it’s a no brainier to pick. I had my new Air Pro 2 for three weeks now. It doesn’t feel as good as a 85t, the battery last not as long, and it felt off so easily.

Now I just placed another order for another one

I've got older jabra 65t and Sony wf-1000xm4 and the sonys are much better. But... Does anyone know how the 85ts compare to the sonys? I've googled and get difference answers.

Bought the Anker Soundcore ones on the deal the other day, can not tell what the sound cancelling does, tried different ear plugs settings etc, nothing.
But they are good sound and plenty bass and connect easily. (edited)

Mine arrived today - but they ain't working. Buds won't charge. So disappointed, although I should've done my research before purchasing as apparently it's a common issue with these earbuds.
I'm sending them back for a refund
