LG OLED55C34LA

Premium quality 55 inch TV
For a better class of 55 inch TV, you need look no further than the LG OLED55C34LA. Utilising LG’s renowned OLED evo panel, this LG 55 inch TV produces a picture that’s both vibrant and true to life. A wide range of gaming enhancements makes this TV equally as impressive with games as it is with movies. For streaming and catch-up TV, LG’s webOS Smart system is as good as they come. For TV and more, the OLED55C34LA doesn’t disappoint.

OLED, enhanced by evo
LG’s OLED evo panel takes an already ‘gold standard’ in TV technology and makes it better. OLED uses self-illuminating pixels for superb contrast and picture realism. Evo technology enhances this with an additional luminous element that makes the picture brighter and the colour more vivid. Put simply, for a combination of natural, lifelike images and vivid detail OLED evo is the one to beat.

New Alpha 9 Gen 6 processor with Alpha Reality
LG’s sixth generation Alpha 9 processor now features Alpha Reality for the most optimised picture yet. Alpha Reality includes AI Super Upscaling Pro – delivering the best possible picture from sub-4K sources, maximising the screen’s potential. OLED Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro uses four times the zone mapping (now 20,000 zones) for enhanced HDR contrast. Object Enhancer and HDR Expression Enhancer optimise specific picture elements for enhanced sharpness.

The beauty of HDR detail – including Dolby Vision
With wide-ranging HDR compatibility, the LG OLED55C34LA maximises media content, giving you the very best levels of detail. Compatible with Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG, this LG TV finds detail, even within the darkest areas of the screen, giving you a clearer insight into movies and a gaming advantage with your console.

See the picture exactly as originally intended, with Filmmaker Mode
If you’re mad about movies, you’ll love Filmmaker Mode. Designed in collaboration with filmmakers and Hollywood studios, Filmmaker Mode lets you experience the cinematic vision, exactly as the director intended. Overriding the TV’s own motion and picture processing, Filmmaker Mode presents the correct aspect ratio, colour and frame rate – just as the filmmakers intended.

Sound enhancements – made even better with a matching LG soundbar
It’s not just the picture that benefits from LG’s latest processor, the sound does, too. Virtual sound channel up-mixing increases from 7.1.2 to 9.1.2, giving an even more immersive sound. Pair with an LG soundbar and the sophisticated processing splits the total sound output between TV and soundbar, for a richer, more enveloping sound.

Enjoy ultimate gaming
More than just a winner with movies, this LG is the gamers’ choice, too. LG’s Game Optimiser utilises an enhanced gaming menu, giving you quick access to important settings. A selection of game genre presets, including one for sports games for example, tailor the image to suit the game type. Equipped with 48Gbps HDMI 2.1 sockets, it’s designed to get the very best from today’s, and future, games consoles. QMS (Quick Media Switching), ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) and VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) mean that your TV automatically adjusts to the optimised settings for gaming – giving you a smoother and faster response.

Smart TV made simpler, with webOS 23
Widely regarded as one of the best smart TV platforms, LG’s webOS system continues to be the system to beat. The latest webOS 23 is easier to use with new Quick Cards folders. These group related content together, making it easier to find the app or source you’re looking for. Recommendations and favourite apps feature on the home screen and are now bespoke to individual users for a more personal interface.

The hub of your home entertainment – with voice control
Featuring LG’s ThinQ AI technology, you can control a Home IoT ecosystem with natural voice recognition. With both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa built-in, it makes it even easier to control your LG OLED TV and quickly access the entertainment you’re looking for.

The C3 is the most disappointing revision from LG, but still a decent deal.

    How so?

The difference between the G2 and the C3 . The C3 has DTS built in . The G2 doesn't. I paid £1.500 for the C3 on release and don't regret that .

Great price but with the G2 available for £200 less, I'd go for that one 🔥

Now I've not got any excuses

Very tempted. LG seem to have dropped their price as well and I think you can get it for 900 IF you can access the Blue Light discount.

Only ever see LG oled screens on here ...with the odd Phillips thrown in ...Panasonic's and Samsung's inferior ?..or just never any deals

Panasonic never do good promotions. They have the best processing like Sony and are more expensive, though not as overpriced

Samsung has amazing promotions, normally big discounts and/or big cash backs. Their deals are ALWAYS on HUKD (edited)
