The multi-award winning Meaco Fan 1056 Air Circulator is designed to provide you with quiet, cool air wherever you need it whether at home or in the office.

Multi-Award-Winning Fan

The key to this fan is that it moves a lot of air very quietly, something that is recognised by the independent testing conducted by QuietMark and Which?, all of whom have awarded the MeacoFan 1056 their seal of approvals.

This fan can be used on its highest fan speeds to cool a whole room to keep several people comfortable or on a desk or a bedside table to provide individual cooling on the lowest fan speeds.

For more personal cooling the whisper quiet air flow on the low fan speed is perfect for keeping you cool whilst you work, relax, workout or sleep.

Intelligent Cooling

The MeacoFan 1056 also offers a more intelligent approach to cooling with a special ECO mode that automatically adjusts the fan speed for you up or down as the room temperature changes. This ensures that the fan speed is optimised before you start to feel hot and uncomfortable.

The fan can be controlled via the magnetic remote control that sits neatly in the centre of the fan allowing you to select from one of the twelve fan speeds, the side to side or up and down motion and for when you want cool air to help you sleep a Sleep Mode that adjusts the cooling rate so that you don’t wake up feeling too cold in the middle of the night. The display can also be turned on or off depending on whether you like to have a bit of light in your bedroom at night or not.

For Modern Living

As well as offering the level of quality and features that you would expect from an award-winning fan the Meaco 1056 air circulator has also been designed to look elegant and contemporary in the home. It is also easy to move about with it’s faux-leather handle and lightweight.

Advanced DC Fan Motor

The DC fan motor delivers a quieter yet stronger breeze than a standard fan and should provide a longer and more reliable service too. The fan is delivered in 100% recyclable packaging and comes with a two year parts and labour warranty for mainland UK.

Other features

  • Very quiet from just 20dB
  • Strong airflow that reaches over several metres
  • Low power consumption from under 10 watts
  • ECO mode for auto fan speed cooling
  • Sleep Mode for optimised bedroom cool
  • Lightweight at just 3.2kgs

Glow in the dark remote and additional one year warranty for £10 more might be worth it for some

I’m not sure why people love this fan so much? I’ve got the pedestal version and don’t rate it. The remote is terrible the buttons on the fan are useless. The handle to pick it up looks nice but is poor to move it from room to room. It’s not that loud but then it’s not that powerful. My old swan fan is better to cool the room down than this.
I would only recommend it if you’re getting it for a bedroom and are going to sleep with it on. Otherwise don’t waste your money. Saying that I do waste my money on a lot of tat.

No hate on the people who love it, just my view. (edited)

I think certain brands get hyped up like crazy here and then everyone jumps on the bandwagon. I'm happy to pay more for quality, but I'm never sure how many of the rave reviews are from people with minimal experience using similar alternatives. Nearly £100 for a fan, I'd expect it to be good, but then how does it compare to a decent £60 fan. Or are people comparing it to a £20 fan they got from Wilko once a few years ago

These are absolutely fantastic fans but just be aware that if you plan to use them with a WiFi controlled power plug (or even just a regular mechanical timer) they will not turn back on to your prior settings. They reset to default fan speed 1 and no motion. I bought one last year with this usage plan and could not use the fan fully. (edited)

I wonder if you could stick a smart ir controller on it

If you want the free storage bag which seems good quality and would otherwise cost £20, you might prefer buying it directly from Meaco for £109.99.

Not really free if it's £20 more though

Is it really as quiet as advertised?

Don't hesitate, this fan was a god send last summer. Seriously debating getting another so I don't have to move the one in the bedroom. (edited)

Pay them whatever they ask. I thought I knew fans, then I got this. *Now* I know and love fans.

absolute beast of a fan, picked it up during 2023 heatwave. Will 100% go up in price when the heat kicks in, would recommend getting it while you can.

Decent fan, just be warned that it might develop a screeching sound like mine did for a while

Fabulous fan, I paid about the same last year and I suspect these will only go up in price. I’ve had no issue with them, ppl complain that they can screech after a while but I believe if that’s the case it’s because you need to clean the blades. Had mine all summer and no hint of any screeching. One of the best buys I’ve bought in years !

I've got the pedestal version and it's superb . Very quiet and powerful and so easy to clean too . Would definitely recommend a Meaco Fan

New version of this also £104.99 with the same code as others have pointed out. I now have both and would 100% pay the extra £10 for the newer model, shifts air much better, doesn’t have that irritating handle that gets filthy and the remote actually works properly

They need to get with the times and make it alexa/google capable
