"Need For Speed Rivals PC-download" £3!! on swedish ORIGIN store

Clear instructions for those who are confused as to what to do to get this working. Compiled by myself.

1 - Download Firefox mozilla.org/en-…ew/ or Chrome google.com/int…er/
2 - hola.org/ (Click the blue box, install)
3 - Optional step - may work with/without - Put Firefox in Private browsing mode, or Chrome in Incognito Mode, to do this click the Purple Box in Firefox (top left) and click "New Private Window" or click the three horizontal line icon, top right of Chrome, New Incognito Window. An alternative method to running private/incognito is to clear both cookies and cache/data.
4 - In the address field type Origin.com. click the Hola icon (top right corner of browser), click "more", scroll down to sweden, click it. Origin will reload in Swedish language. A swedish Blue/Yellow Flag will replace the Hola Icon.
4.5 - At the top of the webpage, click on the search box -

5 - Type in "rivals", select the standard edition for Pc.
6 - Now you will see the following screen, click where the arrow is pointing ..

7 - Click on the checkout (basket icon) at the top right and follow through as shown in the next image -

8 - Continue through the checkout -

9 - Click the Swedish flag/Hola and click the green off button, Hola will now disable the proxy and will display "off" on the icon.
9.5 - Again, make sure Hola is disabled.
10 - Login with your ORIGIN details.
11 - Tick the Box to "* Jag har läst och godkänner försäljningsvillkoren," and click the Gör din beställning orange box to continue.
12 - Fill in your paypal details. And purchase. You will be sent back to Origin and will see a verifying message for a little while, once that's done, Origins client should flash to let you know it has updated. The game should now appear in your game list.

Sorry but that Hola app did not work. All other countries were working fine apart from Sweden. I wasted 2 hours with Hola.

In the end I googled for my own proxies and maually entered them into Firefox.

I found this proxy server from Sweden to work (after testing a few that didn't):

94.254.38.8:3128
(3128 is the port number anyone who is new to this)

I manually entered the proxy server into firefox > options > advanced > network > settings > manual proxy configuration.

After that, go to origin.com and follow the guide above in post #70 from step 5 onwards (ignore steps about Hola).

If it says "Sorry, this product is currently unavailable" when you add the game to the basket, it means your proxy was disabled. Refresh and try again or try a different proxy server.

At checkout just before you log into your Origin account, you will see a "page not found" in a smaller frame in the page (cos it's encrypted frame). Refresh the page with the proxy disabled and you should be able to log in. The language will still be Swedish so in the address section, select "Storbritannien" for United Kindgom.

Worked just fine.

You can do the same in any browser if you know where to change the proxy settings in the options.

There's a free DLC add-on for this as well. Go to the add-on and bonuses page when logged into Origin and look for Need for Speed™ Rivals Koenigsegg One:1.

I think it's only one car but you can't complain about the price.

Won't be a problem on the same account.

I've got as far as the payment screen where I can then select PayPal as a payment method. I am prompted for my email address and an address. Whatever I put in here isn't been accepted.

I am using Hola to access the site.

Any more ideas??

Maybe because its in swedish (took me a minute to figure that one)...storbritannien is united kingdom in swedish, look for that mate, turn off the vpn once you get to the payment page

Which is where the -GameTime add comes in. It syncs the FPS to the engine, meaning the game will run at normal speed, 60fps.

I don't think EA is as strict as Value. I bought Mass Effect and a few others from the US store on Black Friday and I've have no problem.
