Nokia lumia 800 £115.00 @ Tesco instore
Just bought two Nokia 800 Lumia the last two days in tesco.
Spend £30 instore and £15 off phone making payment of £115 each phone.
Had to buy some beer, wine and boxes of biscuits for christmas presents.
Using Giffgaff in both phones. My boys have sony experia s but for my wife and myself for text ,e-mail, internet and facebook this is spot on. May not be for everybody but in my opinion good deal.

simplyjimbo you are right about paying £145 but at this time of year you need beer and wine for new year. Well I do up in Scotland!!!
Should have said I bought in Lockerbie and Dumfries. (no more left in Lockerbie at the moment but loads left in Dumfries)
Was originally £130, and we didn't have to spend a penny on anything else. Although we did do a slight shop for groceries AFTER buying the phone.
thing is, i want this phone, but its a trek through the tunnel to north shields and i really don't want or need anything else from a tesco store at all.
Surely a £100-£120 Android would be better>?

And will a cheap Android phone get an update to ICS (presuming it's coming with 2.3) never mind Jelly Bean?
WP7 is a perfectly capable OS for most people, most major apps are covered and there is one more update coming beyond WP7.8 according to the leaked Nokia roadmap for the OS.
My boys use android all the time but for my wife and myself this will do us fine.
Just looked in the house and I have some tescos vouchers only £6.50 but doubled meant I would not have to spend money in the shop for the second one.
I will have to use the vouchers for something else.
O2 phones are locked and they won't unlock it before 12 months. I didn't find any online retailer who can unlock lumia 800. Tesco phones are locked to Tesco mobile network but an O2 SIM will work.
