Check Tritons own website for deals. They have some good offers from time to time.
The one in b&q is a different shower
Yep £50 in B&Q kings lynn, bought one last week. Also avail at screwfix.
These are £50 in bilston b&q been there today
good cheap shower. we had one very similar, if not the same. I was very surprised at the heat it threw out, although think it might have been 9.5kw. we only changed to a different triton due to a bathroom upgrade and for supposedly more modern looking one.

The religion of Judaism requires milk and meat based products to be handled, eaten and cleaned separately so could be perfect for Jewish families in need of a new kitchen!!!!

do Jewish families all have their kitchen sinks built into a corner?

would be a bit OTT to buy and build a whole new kitchen just for the sake of getting a double sink for thirty reej ged.

It is a CORNER sink!
If your kitchen layout calls for this its a great solution at a very good price.
I opted for two sinks in my kitchen rather than one plus drainer many years ago and it proved to be a very good choice.
cheap for one reason only .... one or both bowls will have to be cut into your worktop join thus rendering the joint useless and weak with the strong potential of water ingress and subsequent swelling imminent . not practical in any kitchen layout im afraid

I know these are battery powered and require no wiring but if you have power in the wall, eg running to a shave socket or an overhead light, you should consider the new generation of mirrors that are not only illuminated but heated too so they don't steam up while you're having a shower. You don't have to wipe them clean so they don't get smeared. I fitted one in our bathroom and it's excellent.
Now £54.96!!
Ordered a couple, cheers pal. Good find

Good price. Be aware about performance. 8.5kW may struggle with adequate water flow in a freezing cold winters morning.

Silly question, but what's the difference between the kw's? for example 8.5 and 9.5?

I know it stands for KiloWatts, but which one is better? The higher the number or the lower the number?

8.5kW = 8500watts, 9.5kW = 9500 watts.

Put simply ;
the lower the kW the less electric it will use, hence cheaper to run if you run on maximum setting.

the higher kW shower 'may' need the cabling upgraded so may incur extra costs to install.

as as been highlighted, the higher rated shower sometimes gives better performance in colder weather (due to the water being colder, sometimes a lower rated shower can't heat the water up quick enough to match the flow)

Either should be installed by a qualified electrician.

Aah cool, thanks for clarification.

Plus in the summer my Mira 10.5 performs like a power shower.
Isn't that because it is a power shower?
A 10.5kw power shower ??? No its not a power shower but is capable of almost running at full water mains pressure in the summer so the water blasts out!

Yep - here's one here:

http://www.snhtradecentre.co.uk/plumbing-bathrooms/sp8001zff-triton-t80.html

We have a 9.5kw one at the moment - it has ok pressure on full, but put it on the other setting of 'not so hot' and it's actually cold and low pressure.

Yawn!!! You don't know the difference between a normal electric shower and a power shower.
For those that want to know the difference a power shower does not use hardly any electricity and is a much lower wattage as it draws the hot water from your storage tank and does NOT heat the water.
It basically acts like a jet wash pumping already heated water up to a higher pressure and will work of normal houshold cabling.
You also confirmed what I first said about 8.5KW showers being pretty rubbish in you statement "We have a 9.5kw one at the moment - it has ok pressure on full, but put it on the other setting of 'not so hot' and it's actually cold and low pressure"

Better still take a read here http://www.which.co.uk/home-and-garden/home-improvements/reviews-ns/best-electric-and-power-shower-brands/how-to-choose-the-best-shower/#power

If its delivered on a pallet - I would say £35 is a fair price. The real scam is hiding delivery in the price of the product...

I bought a Mira shower from them before Xmas and really happy with the service, when I saw the price of these taps I thought why not so I got them along with a Fugi kit for my tiles - they seem to be cheaper than most places for pretty much everything and don't over inflate their rrps
Just looking to buy something from here and wondered if anyone has used them (Plumbworld) before and is able to recommend?

I bought this a little while back From Amazon and it is very impressive, the main shower head and arm are solid, as are all the connectors and handle, the only plastic bits are the hand shower and the the holder for it other than that it is really good.

sorry just saw yours is an electric shower.

You can use these for electric just buy an element from eBay and slide into the bottom, fill 85% with water and blank the other inlets up

Thanks. So i've ebayed dual fuel electric element. Will I be able to do it myself? So I just fit it in and connect the wires to a Plug to be able to plug it in a socket. Just being cautious as on plumberworld it says it must be fitted by a certified plumber.

And on ebay there's different watts of electric element. Do you know which one I need? I'm planning to buy this towel rail:

Thanks in advance!

Are these plug into the electricity system or replacement radiators?

There central heating radiators, electric rads are here:

Wow, almost 3 times difference. Do you know where we can get cheaper electrical ones because I don't have central heating. No gas allowed in new flats.

Guys need some advice,

I bought a Triton Kito from Sainsburys couple weeks back currently I have a mixer shower. Cold water tank in the roof which is gravity fed. Jefft message above got me worried about pressure, now is this the case with all showers that they have to be from main water supply to have good pressure?

From the installation instructions:- "Minimum running pressure and flow to the inlet of the shower for full performance for 10.5Kw 1.5 bar at 11 litres per minute"
The tank would have to be 50 feet above the shower to achieve this.

Electric showers are ONLY fed off the cold mains supply which assumes you have enough pressure on that.

Electric POWER showers are something completely different.

If I am not mistaken Plumbworld explains what shower you may have and what you may need... try reading the OP and clicking the link....

No one has mentioned POWER showers.
Yes electric showers should be fed off mains water supply my point above was no one has 50 feet of head from a roof tank.
The OP has no mention of water supply requirements and I cannot find any info on Plumworld.

Jazzy Jeff Moroncat - I am not too sure why you are confusing the issue? Electric showers can ONLY be installed via the COLD WATER mains.

That is why they are ELECTRIC showers - the clue is in the name...

There is plently of advice on PlumBworld.

Edited By: MikeT on Feb 15, 2012 07:29: Be nice towards fellow members
took me a lot of searching to find an electrician who was prepared to do the plumbing as well.

If you have to get both in it's expensive and they'll blame each other if there are problems.
thanks guys
