Big Premier Inn National Sale: e.g. Central London Westminster new "hub", £37 in November + many more London £29.50 areas not too far out, stay until 31 Dec 2016

Email from Premier Inn, stated many rooms £35 and under. Well I had a quick check for Sunday 20 November (Sundays are usually cheapest in any hotel, anywhere), and the St. James Park Westminster hub

Do Premier Inn's allow 3 adults to sleep in 1 room? If you add 2 adults and children it gives you a family room but there is no option for 3 adults. Our son is 16 but has severe learning difficulties so can't have his own room. I know you can do this with Travelodge rooms and they have pull-out beds.

yes, just book a family room. to be honest, when you book a "twin" room with Premier inn you tend to get a family room too.
My favourite outer London one is Croydon Central. It's right next to the station, so you're at Victoria in 15 mins. I'd tried most of the others (Kew, Hammersmith, Kenton, Watford, Docklands etc) but this is by far the best I've found and it's usually sub £40 when I book.

Just booked 2 nights there again for £62 in late November.

Thanks. I managed to book a weekend in Uxbridge at the start of December for £79.

For anyone considering Uxbridge, you may want to factor in these fares, based on a single journey to Piccadilly Circus: Oyster

Contactless
Peak : £5.10
Monday to Friday from 0630 to 0930.
Off Peak: £3.10
At all other times including public holidays.
Cash
£6.00
At any time.

many people will buy a travelcard or use oyster and reach cap anyway while in london so this will make little or no difference to that. railcards (except two together) give 1/3 off off peak fares + two together holders can buy all day off peak zone 1-6 travelcard at 1/3 off

Not sure why people voting this cold? I book a few stays with premier inn every year, £35 a night is a good deal.
I think it's down to people looking at the site, selecting various locations and not finding a single room for £35.
Instead of commenting that the deal is a load of b0ll0cks, they just down vote.

Which is exactly what I just done. Apart from down voting.

As said before, not a deal, been doing it for around 5 years or even more but thanks op as not everyone knows you can just walk in and have the breakfast!
It's becoming a bit expensive. It's fine if it's just one adult with kids but otherwise a bit pricy
Very expensive if you only have a yoghurt and a piece of fruit, due to medical reasons.
it is 2 kids per adult for sure. was there two weeks ago.
I wasn't aware of this so thanks for posting.

Found out recently you can buy these beds directly from the Premier Inn with free delivery. So you can get a King Size for £525.
Gotta share my experience here I'm afraid.
Seriously, I'm not joking but I always get a good nights sleep in 'Premier Inn' hotels and used to joke about getting one of their beds.
So I was pleasantly surprised to discover the 'Buy Our Bed' page quite by accident on the 'Premier Inn' website in early January last year.
I ordered a king-size mattress at a cost of £525 from 'Hypnos Contract Beds' via the 'Premier Inn' website.
We already had a fairly new, great looking solid oak bed with sprung slats which we'd bought a separate Sealy mattress for, but regretted buying a double, so ordered the same bed in king-size costing £460 (so £960 all in).
The 'Premier Inn' bed prices were:
Mattress Only £525
Mattress & divan £900
Mattress & 2-drawer divan £980
The mattress arrived about six weeks later and the first few nights were a little uncomfortable to say the least. Not wanting to blame our lovely new 'Hypnos' mattress, I put it down to changing from our previous mattress.
Things didn't get much better though to be honest, but it wasn't until we went on a week long road trip a few months later that we noticed how uncomfortable our mattress really was.
We stayed in mostly 'Premier Inn' hotels plus the 'Drayton Manor' hotel that week and all the mattresses were 'Hypnos' and we had a good nights sleep every night.
Between getting our new mattress and that week-long road-trip, we hadn't stayed overnight anywhere, so didn't have anything to compare our mattress to directly, but the difference was astounding.
The only difference I could see between our lumpy mattress and the hotel mattresses was that theirs were on divan bases and ours is on a sprung slatted base, but which was still within the recommended guidelines (Hypnos: you must ensure that the slats on the bed frame are no more than 7.5cm apart, and that there is a central support rail on ‘Double’ sizes or larger).
The only other thing I noticed was that the 'Premier Inn' mattresses seemed to have a firmer topper, where ours is very soft.
I even went as far as replacing the sprung slats with solid wooden slats @ 50mm apart to give the base a more solid feel and more support, but the comfort level never changed.
At that, I contacted 'Hypnos Contract Beds'.
I may have got a dud and I keep meaning to get back to 'Hypnos' to sort it.
But it may be wise to go for the mattress+divan for the full 'Premier Inn' experience.
Sorry about that epic tale, but thought it worth a mention.
Hi thank you for writing this feedback i apreciate it as thinking of buying the bed
Just stayed in a Premier Inn and the mattress was awful,it gave me backache I felt like I was sleeping on a slope :(

The last one I slept on was lovely unlike this one!

We bought a king divan bed from Premier inn and we've now had it 2 weeks. Aside from it being a right pain to get up the stairs, it's a delight to sleep on. We did add a thin mattress topper but not for comfort, my hubby is known to spill a lot of things! We have both slept very soundly since we've had it. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

I don't know whether i should be wondering what he's spilling in bed X)

ha ha, nothing like that. He has an overactive thyroid, so eats like he's starving, quite often comes to bed with bowl of cereal or those little fruit pots which you can guarantee he will drip juice everywhere.

It's probably one of the safest cities in the UK (Ironically). Through our business I deal with people on the mainland, it's surprising how many don't know it's part of the UK. It can still be difficult to entice them over to spend money. "Belfast"!!!!! ? They must think it's still like Lebanon.

Just don't get on a Paddy Wagon going up the Shankill or wear a Rangers top going up the Falls road and you'll be fine

what is Belfast like this century . i have only heard about the past in Belfast with the Catholic and Protestant divide if that is over and religion is no big thing and no more riots or Police in riot vans or people beating you up for being English then it would be interesting .
I think, even the most British hating inhabitants of Belfast realise that English visitors have no real opinion on the situation and feel no reason to attack them.
that is good to know it never used to be that way just being English was enough reason to be beaten by some IRA supporters
You won't be allowed in to Belfast

I think the Irish are going through a major image change. I mean, the old image of Leprechauns, shamrocks, Guinness, horses running through council estates, toothless simpletons, people with eyebrows on their cheeks, badly tarmacced drives in this country, men in platform shoes being arrested for bombings, lots of rocks, and Beamish. I think people are saying yes, there's more to Ireland than this. Dere's more to Oireland dan dis!

Obviously you must be Irish then.

Yes if you book a rate over £39. Most saver rates are £39 or less so not such a good deal.
No they're not, I use these often for work and rarely get a room under £70 using the saver rate.
Every month I book 4 or 5 nights at Premier Inn's for work and as I book up to 6 weeks in advance I never pay more than £39
Lucky you, as a call out engineer I don't have that luxury, I book on the day and it's never anywhere near that price.
The deal isn't going to be for everyone and I agree with supporting local businesses, premier inns aren't great value anymore (imho) but I'm sure many use these for work or the odd occasion at the weekend and will benefit the offer!
That's why I said most saver rates are under £39 - typically a saver rate is booked in advance, if you are booking on the day/day before then yes you are going to get hit with a premium but the silver lining is you can make use of this offer!

I get saver rates on the day but as you say, they're still at a premium

Theyre over £70 for a double room in 6 different hotels in the Southampton area, I plan to visit in July.
That's for just 1 person, me.
That's expensive for a basic box.
There's NO £50 bargains at all.
Where does it say that on the website Aclondon please?
ps I blame the Lenny Henry advert, sleeping on a beach, yuk!
Obviously I'm not sure when you are planning to go in July but every hotel in Southampton on Sunday 5th July is £35... So you are right that is not a £50 bargain at all!
Really? Wow that's a bargain. Its the 25th which is after Schools break up, hence the 60% price hike.
Looks like the cheaper room are OUTSIDE OF TERM TIME. ie Not on in the Kids Summers.
Maybe put that in your title for clarification??

Sundays are always cheaper - end of week. Even during August Southampton in still only £39 on a Sunday.

£8.95 for breakfast can never be considered a "bargain"
Find a local supermarket - lets be honest you are never far from one in the UK - get a bag of cereal fruit etc and you are sorted for far far less.
Shame also that the £29 rooms have now become £35 - guess that's the cost of providing slow as anything broadband!

Grrrrrr I've had 3 room's in this period, but because I didn't log in they won't account for offer !!
First I heard of the offer on here, so how was I suppose to know ?
Good deal for business users. Heat from me.
The qualifying room rate makes is this a poor deal, the £29 (which is an excellent deal) rate is not included. Plus consecutive nights not counting make it even more off-putting. It's cold from me.

Why is this deal expired?

It's still available for £29 pn at my local Premier Inn
Offer is still available
just a heads up to say that this offer ends at 23:59 tonight!
Thought it said 250,000 rooms "for" £25, which is good considering each room would work out at 0.01p :)

Booking a Room on Premierinn.com

When you are ready to make a reservation, booking rooms with Premier Inn is very easy. Head to the website and use their online form to enter your details (including your arrival and departure dates, the size of your party and how many rooms you’ll need).

Now you’ll be taken to the homepage of the most suitable hotel based upon your requirements. You can choose from "Flex" options (which allow for changes up to 13:00 on the day of arrival) or "Saver" options, which cannot be changed.

Press the "Book now" button after you’ve decided, review your booking, and press "Continue". Pick your breakfast option (if any) and add some personal details. You can choose to register at this point if you wish, but you can equally use the checkout as a guest if you like.

Finally, you’ll come to the payment screen. You can either pay in advance or pay on arrival. Either way, after pressing the 'complete booking' button, your room will be reserved.

The Premier Inn Loyalty Scheme

All guests at Premier Inn are invited to join My Premier Inn, the hotel chain’s membership scheme. Membership is free, and it enables you to make bookings more quickly (as your payment details are saved). It also makes it easier to cancel or amend bookings, saving time.

Business travellers can also sign up for a Premier Inn business account, which comes with several extra features. It helps with managing invoices and expense accounts – so if you travel on your firm’s account, it could be the right option for you.

Sales at Premier Inn

Premier Inn regularly offers discounts on the prices of its rooms, so keep an eye out for bargains. The first place to look for any current deals is the "Offers" part of premierinn.com. Here you’ll find any current promotions as well as a form allowing you to find the best deals for hotels in a specific region.

Payment Methods Accepted by Premier Inn

When you book rooms on premierinn.com, the hotel chain accepts the following payment methods: cash on arrival, Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard, Diners Club, Maestro, Leisure Vouchers and Delta. You can also pay via your Premier Inn business account or by cheque, providing you pay three weeks in advance.

Every payment at Premier Inn is protected by Verified by Visa and Secured by MasterCard to prevent online fraud.

All guests need to provide some form of payment details to reserve their room, but they can still pay in cash if they desire. If you choose to go down this route, be sure to bring some proof of ID along with you, such as your passport or driving licence.

When you make a reservation, you should automatically receive an e-mail confirmation including a VAT tax receipt. You can also request a receipt when you check in.

Premier Inn allows customers to amend or cancel their bookings if required, subject to certain conditions:

  1.

If you have paid extra to purchase a "Flex" booking, you can amend or cancel the booking up to 13:00 on the day of arrival. If you miss the deadline, Premier Inn will charge you the cost of a night’s accommodation, so be sure to contact them promptly if your plans change. If you have chosen the 'saver' rate, unfortunately you cannot change or cancel your booking.
  2. To make an amendment or cancellation, log onto your Premier Inn account and click on the "Manage bookings" link. Enter your booking reference (which should be in the confirmation e-mail sent after booking) and the surname of the person who made the booking.

  3. Premier Inn will then make the changes straight away and provide confirmation via e-mail. This will include a refund receipt as well.
