Very good GPU within 15-20% of a 4090. At this price it's a steal and worth stretching for if you were considering a 4070S/7900xt

Yeah. If you have an AMD CPU too, turn on SAM, OC this card, you're looking at least 15% performance over base, 20% if you have a good chip.

I think spending extra £100 quid on 4080 super is a better option if you are interested in ray tracing, I bought ASUS proart and absolutely loving it

Hmm the best recent offer for 4080S was £960, and its £1000+ for all the decent AIB models atm.

I disagree to be honest. Before my XTX I had a 4070S, and the 12gb VRAM maxed in cyberpunk 2077 at 4k. I literally couldnt play the game, was a mess.

16gb of VRAM vs 24gb, this XTX will outlast the 4080S. It's already faster in raster, and in some games that gap will really grow as VRAM usage goes up.

RT is not worth mentioning atm imo. 99% of gamers will take the added fps over RT anyway. And frame gen sucks, I tried it on a 4070s and the input lag was awful

I have a another variant of the 7900 XTX, it's a real beast of a card.

Also just to add I personally stay away from eBuyer, they sent me a used CPU when listed as brand new. (edited)

Importantly, Alphacool do a full cover waterblock for this card, might see if there is an eBay code and get in before Ebuyer hike the price up.

Chance this might be 20-30 pound cheaper with ebay voucher on the ebuyer eBay store in a couple of weeks?
    sergiup's avatar
They often bump up the price when the vouchers come into effect - so it's very much hit and miss.

Got the XT about 8 months ago for like £70 less. Heat added!

This is a great first post. 800 quid for a XTX, can't really go wrong.

    Congratulations on your 1st deal

I thought this was the 500w heater nitro+ version lol, still a great deal

Anyone bother with undervolting on these? 1120mv at 2950mhz and 115% power limit is stable for me, but eats up 450w still (because of the power limit probably). Curious if anyone has done a more aggressive undervolt to cut down the wattage
    UKScottDeals's avatar
If you want to undervolt further you'll likely need to cap frequency to something nearer 2700 MHz. However you would only get 10% less performance for a much greater reduction in power consumption.

Great price. I managed to get this card from their eBay store for £768.98, hopefully minus another 10% cashback (not sure I can say the CS word...), really can't complain at that price.
    vI_M4YH3Mz_Iv's avatar
    Which cashback?

Picked this up on the £768.98 deal - destroys every game I throw at it, shame GPU prices are so high but it's well worth it in comparison to others on the market.

Runs quite cool really I think under 70 degrees but about 350-400 watts of power though!

honestly people are upset about GPU prices but this is a great deal.

    Inflation adjusted it's cheaper than a 1080Ti.

Like a 1080Ti it's the second fastest GPU of its gen, and only misses top slot by 15% or so while being half the price.

Like 1080Ti it brings a new level of gaming, in 2017 that was 144hz 1440p.

The XTX is bringing 120-240hz competitive gaming at 4k, or 100hz 4k in AAA titles.

    It's an incredible card.
