On the face of it, this is a little out there... If you're not familiar, Revv asked AI to design a distortion pedal and the result was a pedal that wouldn't quite work. The folks at Revv made tweaks and got it working, which resulted in this...

It's 100% worth checking demos on YouTube, as it's actually a super nice sounding pedal, and at this price, really does trade punches with well regarded and well known models.

Although the base design came from ChatGPT, there's nothing creepy about it, like... being connected to your wifi and controlling your toaster and doorbell It's just a pedal that happens to have been worked on by AI and the folks at Revv. Well worth listening to, just to quench your curiosity thirst. It's really, really nice.

Probably niche... But I'm all about that

NOTE: No power supply included

Never heard of it ...but heat for a pedal

On side note I really hope all the AI stuff getting involved in music gets shut down before it starts to creep in more (edited)

I really don't think it will get shut down/ In the short term AI will provide great tool to enable human creativity, however in the slightly less short term, it will replace many human professional musicians

I remember when this launched, it was a pure bandwagon jump at a time when your parents were reading about AI and ChatGPT etc. in terms of hardware, it won’t continue
